I really don't think TPS knows where Gabriel is at the moment but I don't think for a minute that she didn't have a hand in EJ's leaving AZ for TX. She claims that EJ told her she was taking Gabriel for a visit with his father on Dec. 18th but then she says that the way EJ got money was from selling her dogs and renting a room. Huh? How would she know that if she didn't know EJ was planning on running? I still think that TPS hasn't come clean with LE about the plan her and EJ had before she left. I do think that there was some kind of plan for EJ to go to TN and TPS could work on the adoption from there but when LM got custody I think EJ went rogue and made her own plans. Still not sure if those plans included finding another family for Gabriel or her own plans to get rid of him. One thing that kind of gives me hope that she didn't kill him is the fact that she is so violent and destructive, if she did something to the baby there would be some kind of evidence like blood or something. But at this point anything could have happened and Gabriel could be anywhere including out of the country. I wish AMW did a longer segment on him. I think that most people still haven't heard about Gabriel, especially out of AZ and TX.

My first thought was also that it was maybe her mother's ring.
But your quote got me thinking it may have even been a "push gift" (traditional gift given to the mother when she has a baby) that Logan gave her. Although, she doesn't seem to feel much attachment to Logan OR Gabe.

I'd think if it was something Logan gave her it would've been one of the first things she sold ~ seeing the contempt she seems to have for him. MOO

Regarding the diaper bag and Gabe not being able to fit in it. I really hate to be morbid here, but when Jasmine Fiore was found in a small carry-on suitcase in a dumpster not too long ago - I wondered how in the heck a woman her size could be stuffed into something that small. She was small boned but not a tiny petite woman. When a person is dead, they can be contorted to fit into very small space. Plus, I am assuming the diaper bag is fabric. Fabric has some "give". Again, sorry to be morbid. I'm not quite sure EJ's story is untruthful, but at the same time I just don't know what she did with Gabe.

I have been looking for it since I posted the comment awhile back, but I can't remember where I read it.

My original comments awhile back were that allegedly TPS and JS own a timeshare in Mexico (I got the impression this was ACTUAL Mexico from her comments to another poster on her forum at the time about it, not some city in FL ... the original post was made in like Winter 2008 or 2009 ... way before this case ever came to light which is what made it interesting because maybe LE wasn't privy to this info initially ... I don't know). I was thinking if EJ really did give GJ to some couple in TX, what better place to potentially hide him (even temporarily until all the fuss/media died down about him) than Mexico?

If I were trying to hide/keep a baby, I know I would definitely not try to do it in the US ... especially with all the media coverage this case is getting. Too risky. Not impossible mind you, but more risky than leaving altogether. And if LE's suspicions are right in that TPS is somehow involved somehow or knows more, it's possible she either helped EJ set up this whole backstreet adoption scenario with this alleged couple. If that's true, how does anyone know this alleged couple (should they actually exist) isn't in Mexico in TPS's timeshare down there for awhile? Who would really know in that case? I bet there has been NOTHING on this case over the border, hence much easier to hide a baby. No one would think anything of it.

I went back trying to find the original comment by TPS on her forum site where I first read it, but now I can't find it. I thought it was originally on her business site but there is no forum there, so either I'm not remembering or else it was another site. OR ... it WAS there, and now has been deleted. Stranger things have happened in cases such as this. I just want Baby Gabe found! I will keep looking for the actual quote and post it as soon as I can find it.:banghead:

If Gabriel was still on formula, why did EJ go to the front desk in the middle of the night for milk? Didn't TS say that the "underground" whatever was supplying EJ with diapers and formula?

And if she had money why did she need to depend on an "underground" to give her diapers and formula, unless she was just being a mooch. ????

Whatever happened to the diaper bag? Whether EJ actually killed Baby Gabe or not, as far as I know, the diaper bag was never recovered, right? The whole diaper bag thing just doesn't hold weight for me because GJ was around 20 lbs. Even larger bags don't hold THAT much weight, or aren't large enough for an 8-mth old baby. Besides .... isn't there at least SOME kind of video footage around the hotel parking lots or nearby somewhere that would've seen EJ leave the hotel? LE says they know EJ left SA without GJ, but how do they know that? And if they know THAT, then why don't they know if she actually left the hotel with or without him? Or do they know that part and just not releasing it to the public. Remember ... the media has a whole different MO when it comes to Missing People cases versus LE and regardless of what people think, it's usually NOT to actually solve a case quickly ... it's to draw it out as long as possible to get ratings and interest in the case. LE however wants cases solved as soon as possible and usually is the only true ally for the victim. This almost NEVER involves the media as their true motives clash ... the media to prolong a story and sensationalize it and LE to actually solve it and find justice. I wouldn't doubt LE knows a LOT more than they're letting the media know and good for them. Hopefully, they do actually know about the diaper bag scenario. It was seen in one of the photos released recently behind baby Gabe, but it was a small one. No way it would've fit a small child. So what happened to it once EJ left town? Was it recovered by LE? Was it given to the alleged couple who took him? Was it left in SA? Just can't imagine an 8-mth old could ever be concealed/carried in a small (or even large) diaper bag ... just not really physically believable. We had the largest diaper bag made when our twins were born (lots of stuff to tote around) but even so, it would've have come close to working for an 8-mth old and a smaller one like EJ allegedly had, definitely not.

Well, I can only say this for myself and many of my friends who are parents. Many of us have more than one diaperbag. I have a small one for quick trips, it doesn't hold much more than a bottle or two, some diapers, wipes, a couple toys, a change of clothes, and maybe a blanket. I have a regular bag that goes to his babysitter with him. And then I have a travel bag for him. It will fit quite a bit (a couple blankets, toys, bottles, a few changes of clothing, etc). It's about the size of a large carryon bag. As much as it horrifies me to say this, it WOULD fit the body of an 8 month old infant in it. For a week or longer trip, it's completely possible that she had more than just a small diaperbag with her. But then, maybe that's giving her too much credit on preparing for Gabe's needs.

They had such a volitile relationship, and sometimes in relationships like this there is a very thin line between love and hate. Plus, we don't know how materialistic EJ is. If Logan gave her the ring she may not have wanted to keep for sentimental reasons, but because it was "pretty" or whatever. Does that make sense?

The clerk that sold her the ticket mentioned that it was a "very large backpack", did he not? What if she lost the backpack along the way? Far fetched? Is a youth hostel something someone EJ's age would just know to look for when she got to FL? Was the one where she stayed close to the bus station?

Her ticket was to Fort Lauderdale. Did we ever figure out how she would have gotten from there to Miami Beach?

Does LE check lockers at bus terminals when they suspect someone may have stashed cash?

I thought about that too but I couldn't put it into words to post it.
Although, sedated, was not the word I thought.
Perhaps she "disposed" of him at one of the stops along the bus route to FL. I wonder if LE has been checking dumpsters etc. at those stops.
