Did you see the post on that site that say's the baby will be found on 1.26.10? Hummmm, we'll see...:waitasec: that's like Tuesday, right? He'd better be found on that date or their reputation just went poof!

Also if he is found on the 26th then I will be a firm believer that the site owner is more than just a dreamer...

hmmn last seen 12/26 found 1/26

BBM --

Is that why she posted on FB that they got H a baby brother for Christmas? :waitasec:

It's very disturbing that she feels so ok about lying regarding this investigation. Even moreso that she thinks falsifying legal paternity documents to complete an illegal adoption is "telling a white lie". When she states "everyone involved has told lies" - well, she can only state that about her, her husband, EJ and whoever else is involved. So, knowing they have all lied, I don't understand WHY LE hasn't hauled them in? They have admittingly given false statements to LE. They have admittingly obstructed an investigation. They have admittingly falsified legal paternity documents.

I just have to keep hope that LE is just waiting for more. I suppose all their blabbering on tv is good for LE. Just like the Anthony's. Keep giving them a little more rope . . .

I also REALLY hope DCF is investigating whether H should be removed from these people.

still catching up... but she also has the picture of jack and gabriel where she refers to jack as his daddy

LE denied information that EJ CELL Phone (as reported not GPS) was pinged in Victoria and then heading toward Mexico

LE have GPS but have made no statements about what they obtained if anything from it

Bolding and Red by me. I don't want to ask this but....would respiratory depression cause a baby to turn blue?

I've been off for awhile, but, yes respiratory depression makes infants turn blue- cyanotic. Also, initally the infant may be very sleepy. If you put the infant in a crib and leave their repirations become slower. CO2 builds up in the blood as respirations slow. At a certain point CO2 narcosis sets in and you die unless artificial ventilation is given. In the old days kids with CF in respiratory failure died of CO2 narcosis. That is how children ODed with Benadryl died. I have wondered if monster mom was actually truthful in her message to dad. Hate to be a bummer but I would think LE would have more leads by now if gabriel was still alive. Hope I'm wrong!!!

Just thought I would provide an update on the San Antonio adoption agency people NMK found an article on-- sorry for the long post -- basically I believe that illegal adoption is a lot more common than I would have thought a month ago

Recently NMK found the story from 2002 that involved the SA agency whose employee was charged with an international adoption scam -- the adoption agency itself was investigated, but I have found no charges (does not mean that the employee was not the patsy)-- What I wonder is why this employee charged would pay out of her own pocket the money they said she paid to the bio mothers -- do these people work on commission?
:waitasec:
"The mother, Bxxxx Fxxx Lxxx of Monterrey, Mexico, said in a lawsuit filed in Webb County court that she was paid $500 for turning her child over to Mxxx Dxxxx Boxxx of Laredo. http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-92076369.html
Turns out that in 2005 the license was revoked for the agency, and they have not opened again, under the same name anyway
"Mxxxx Bxxxx’s conviction was not the basis for a decision to try to revoke Alamo's license, but it is fair to say that it was (symbolic of) some of the deficiencies our investigators found," [Dxxx Axxx] said, including lax record-keeping on how much birth mothers were being paid and how the money was spent"
San Antonio Express-News. San Antonio, Tex.: Mar 18, 2005. pg. 01.B (pro quest database)

Searching the previous address listed it came up with Associated Business Consultants now, owned by one of the previous owners of the Alamo adoption agency (the agency was made up of what looks like a married couple and their middle aged son and daughter in law)
Ironic, I think considering why their license was revoked that it seems it is now an accounting firm

Even if an adoption agency is legit it seems to me that it would not be that unusual for a “reputable” adoption agency to have a rogue employee as in this 2002 case in TX

Momtective posted a list of all of the adoption agencies in SA, but it seemed like a longer list than when I fill in San Antonio only in the search form on the Texas Family and Protective Services site

http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/Child_Care/Search_Texas_Child_Care/ppFacilitySearchAdoption.asp

Could there be agencies not monitored by DFPS?
Even some of the agencies monitored have disturbing deficiencies noted in the DFPS reports IMO

Ok, TPS posted overnight that she would be so happy if she got arrested. I really think that's LE's cue to go over there and haul her in.

ETA: She also says that she and JS told H from the beginning that Gabriel was not her baby brother, but H called him that anyway so it became his nickname. Wow! She really has an outrageous lie to try to cover anything she knows is problematic.

http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?u...3d39f3e53c4#/profile.php?id=1585061919&ref=mf

Well that might explain why she's retained a civil lawyer. For what reason would she possibly need one? I'm sure she believes that she can sue LE for damage to her reputation among other things and an arrest would just be the icing on the cake for a better lawsuit in her mind. Maybe someone should tell her she damaged her own reputation with her behaviour during a very serious missing child investigation, not to mention her questionable background prior to this Wonder if she's going to go after people on FB? Maybe that's why she posts stupid things...to incite people to say things about her. Does her lawyer condone this and they're playing games for future profit? It's all just so pathetic IMO.

For anyone who may doubt the possibilty of EJ hooking up with a less than legit adoption agency--

Since the Madonna adoption controversies there are thousands of articles on baby rings and international illegal adoptions -- I ask why we not consider that the same type of illegal activity would happen on our home turf?

Further reading:
Here’s an interesting graphic/flow chart on illegal (international) adoption

Here is an interesting map of where babies come from and where they are placed

Here is an interesting book on the topic of illegal adoption in the states and the world
The Stork Market on Google Books
ETA --Chapter 8 "The Father Factor" in the electronic copy of this book is especially enlightening

Still holding out hope that EJ (and possibly TS) left a paper or electronic trail that will lead LE to Gabriel and the people who have him

I had to walk away awhile and calm down before responding to this. :furious:

This so clearly shows the Smith's state of mind. On the date these pics were posted, they already KNEW Gabriel had a father, and a father who had clearly told them he would not let Gabriel go. They had been visited by police appx. 3:30 a.m. Dec.10 and informed EJ had reported Gabriel missing and claimed Logan kidnapped him. They knew all this. So we can see how determined they were to have Gabriel in spite of anything that stood in their way.

That they stood by and supported EJ after this, even claiming what a good mother she was to the media after EJ claimed to have either killed or given away "their very own precious new baby boy" says to me that they know more than they are saying.

It also lend more credibility to the reasoning that the Smiths, rather than EJ, did most of the masterminding of this demented plot. If EJ had come up with all these "glitches, twists, and unexpected turns" by herself, they would be furious with her, embarrassed at being made fools of, and devastated as to the unknown whereabouts of Gabriel.

Rather than showing signs of being made fools of, they show more and more smugness and defiance as time passes. They must feel safer and safer as each day passes that Gabriel is not found. They certainly show no signs of doubling over with grief at the thought of landfills being searched for a dead body.

And last time I looked, TS's MySpace mood STILL said "ACCOMPLISHED" with a big toothy grin, even after her "staunchest supporter" on her *fanpage* asked her to remove it. I feel more hopeful now than ever that Gabriel is alive.

And I hope they find enough evidence to lock some people away IN GENERAL POPULATION for a very very long time.

Someone brought up a good point on TPS's "Fan" page. Could a cell phone have been duct-taped under a stranger's car and ping-ed until the battery finally died? Great way to throw everyone off track.

I think it would be easier to just give it to someone in the bus station as a gift. Maybe someone who was heading to Mexico? Or just stuff it in someone's bag.

True, but why even bother with duct tape? Just throw it in the junk in the back of some guys pick-up truck and forget about it.

Was this a phone that would not have recharging capability?

Excellent post! I can't fathom anyone being as bold as they have been. That bothers me because I also think they are the masterminds behind all this. If so, maybe it was planned so that no one could trace anything back to them.
