That would be pretty creapy! Yes, if they are reading this, please take him to a fire station. You don't even have to give them a name of who you are & dress him in a big pink dress so they think he is a girl & don't recognize him as a boy when you leave him, so you aren't held for kidnapping, etc.

One thing I just don't get is why EJ doesn't want Gabriel w/his dad? Does anyone know? Is he abusive or something?

Personally I think he was the one that did the dumping and she is angry about it and hitting him where it hurts. She has said things like "If we can't be a family then neither of us will keep him." I think it's more about her feelings being hurt then it is the kind of father he is.

ETA She tried to claim he was abusive (to TPS I guess) but she is the one with the criminal record.

That is just sad! This entire thing is sad. I'm watching Nancy Grace now, but it looks like it's just a re-run.

I just want to strangle EJ if she killed that baby!

Because she is selfish and he would be winning her emotional game if he had his son.
Thats my guess. I cant see another reason as she sure doesnt want to raise a child.

According to TS, EJ alluded to his controlling nature and abusive tendencies, but as DairyGirl notes, she has a violent record official and unofficial

IDK but it seems to me as if TS and EJ sort of used others' criminal records as an excuse to take advantage of them, like Logan and CC -- while not mentioning their own records

That line of thinking goes along with the audacity to do whatever they feel like with a little boy's life -- the ends justifying the means

I wonder how much of this (like giving a child away possibly; not having a maternal bond) is something akin to her youth? Ingrained in her you might say.

From everything I have read, it appears she grew up in Boston. Mentions that she bounced around foster homes there until she was 12, and also returned to Boston her Senior year.

I wonder if she did not know her paternal side till 12? Did her mother hide her from her father? Or play all sorts of games so she didn't have a relationship with the father? It seems the father retained custody shortly after the mother was murdered.

Usually when a child is placed in foster care, they try to contact the paternal side of family to see about the child residing there. Did they? Did the Mom maybe not give the information on the father?

From what I understand about foster homes is there are 30 day 'parents' and long-term foster parents. Five different foster parents makes me wonder if she was in and out of foster home - Mom cleans up her act for a bit and got her back, then loses the kids again. I would think that at some point they would have checked the father's side of the family to see if there was someone who could take her. Adding strength to this was that she did not move to her father's until after the mother was murdered.

There's some mention that she chased her father with a plunger, and broke things at his house. Could maybe due to being 'hidden' from him, she directed anger at him because of this? Could maybe she had seen behaviors from her mother, like maybe not letting her talk to her paternal side after a fight w/ her father, or maybe her mother telling her that she was better off not knowing her father, that put into her psyche that maybe contributed to this? Maybe she learned a pattern of destruction from her mother - maybe seeing Mom tearing up the house after a fight with her boyfriend. Maybe being told that her father was no good and she wasn't going to see him ever? Maybe she told the father if we can't be a family, then you won't see the kids, and Elizabeth grew up thinking that kids weren't supposed to see their fathers after a split up?

It seems to me she was way too comfy with hiding the baby (like she did at the Smiths) or taking off with him.

I reported all the info I found on them. Even if they are not involved, it wouldn't be far fetched that EJ may have contacted them at some point....and they could have referred her to someone who could help?

Good job, kissdegirl! Another tip for Gabe!

NO! Logan is NOT abusive! Tammi vilified Logan in the press, claiming that he was, and claiming that Eliz told her he was. Oddly, in her jail interview, even Eliz never once said Logan was abusive.

CBS5 even did an independent investigation, and found:

CBS 5 News has not been able to uncover a shred of evidence that he was anything other than a hard-working, supportive man.

A neighbor and even Eliz's own grandfather have spoken up in support of Logan:

"He was an upstanding person," said Gabriel Salas, McQueary and Johnson's neighbor. "He was doing everything he could to keep his family together."

Even Johnson's grandfather, Bob Johnson, told CBS 5 News that it wasn't McQueary but Elizabeth Johnson who had volatile tendencies, and was even arrested for trashing the apartment she shared with McQueary.

From everything we know, it is that Eliz was in a rage, spiteful and vengeful, and, in her own words, wanted to hurt Logan.

1. Maybe the couple who has? Gab do not want to return him, and think they can keep him and not get caught, maybe if the move away.
2. Maybe the couple have no idea, believe me, I know people who have no idea what is going on with the news, this couple could of picked Gab up in whatever state Eliz was and the traveled home far away.
3. Just maybe, I can't think of the name, but Gab is in one of those places where people give up there life, id, ss, and live as a colony, I saw it on tv once. They would never see the news.
If a couple did get Gab, they could of left the country, He wasnt considered missing till Jan 1st right?
Those are just some thoughts above.

I doubt she gave Gab to some random couple. If she did, then she is crazy, and should stay in prison. And she is saying that she did, so Im thinking Gab is gone. Very sad.
But if LE can just find a smidge of something then maybe he isn't.

Every single case I have follow I would give the parents the chance, but in the end not only do they fail my hope, but most importantly they failed their child. I use to think outside the box, but really whats the point.

Just a reminder that Gabe's vigil is at 6pm tonight.

I just found that you can set this website where you can put in 6pm in Phoenix, and it gives you the time in other cities all over the US. This should take you to the site with time already set to 6pm Phoenix:

I would not want to be Logan this morning. He's got a rough day ahead of him (Not that he hasn't had horrible days lately altogether).
May God give him strength today and let him pull hope from those surrounding him and praying for Gabe.

Focus of lost-baby case shifts to what-ifs
Police weigh how to deal with mother if child is never found

Though the search for Gabriel Johnson continues, questions have turned to what happens to the missing baby's mother, Elizabeth, if the child is never found.

"We have to look at: Did Elizabeth kill Gabriel like she said she did?" said Sgt. Steve Carbajal, a Tempe Police spokesman.

Elizabeth Johnson has refused to speak to investigators, and without a body, prosecuting a homicide case is difficult. So far, she has been charged in Maricopa County with kidnapping, child abuse and custodial interference.

Suspects have been arrested in only a handful of missing-body cases in Maricopa County. Some cases have been successfully prosecuted, usually aided by a confession and extensive forensic evidence. Other cases never result in charges, even if police believe they know who committed the crime.

Investigators, including a team from Tempe, have searched dumpsters in San Antonio, where the child was last photographed. So far, there has been no luck in finding Gabriel or his body.

Anything else police might have found, they are keeping close to the vest.

He does have a record...Felony Burglary and was in jail after Gabriel was born...But I dont know if anything violent.

http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/local/articles/2010/01/17/20100117missingbaby0117.html

Logan's complete record was posted in the first thread about Gabriel. Nothing violent.

The charges are from when he was younger, and all reports are that he has since turned his life around.

This comment by Logan's cousin has been stuck in my head. The poster specifically states that "Elizabeth wanted to give Gabe up for adoption to a lady in Texas."
The comment was made on Jan.1, 2010 almost immediately after the case broke.
I'm wondering how long EJ had talked specifically about a lady in Texas adopting Gabriel.
It is also the one thing that leads me to believe that Gabriel is in fact in Texas, with an adoptive parent/s. Could be a single parent or a couple but from this statement I believe they are in Texas.

Hello, I am Logans cousin, and it would be so awsome if anyone had any information regarding the case of his missing Son, Gabriel. Elizabeth, the boys Mother, was arrested in Florida, but Gabe was not with her. It is believed that Elizabeth wanted to give Gabe up for adoption to a lady in Texas. My cousin has turned his life around, and Gabe means everything to him. Please, if anyone has any information, Please contact the Tempe Police.. Thank You

Yeah I looked up his records here. Basically some burglaries (car theft?), DUI, driving without a license. Been out of trouble recently but hasn't paid up his fines on some of these.

Just saying, hes not always been an angel. :) Glad to see he appears to be turning himself around! I hope he will get rewarded for that in the very near future.

I saw this in the paper this morning and was about to post it but see that BeanE is on top of it already this morning, actually BeanE is always on top of it :)

All I can say is after reading the article, it sure doesn't look promising. It leaves me to think that the investigators don't have as much evidence as I once thought.
