Ok if H's bio dad was 28, do you (or anyone) know how old the mom was?

Sorry if this has been posted I have tried to read everything but sometimes stuff falls off the wagon on the way to the shed. lol

No, he didn't mention her age, but did say that he was raising H's 2-year-old sister.

It seems weird to me that Elizabeth didn't give Gabriel Logan's last name, on the birth certificate. Most mothers want their children to have the fathers last name. It's just strange to me.

My oldest doesn't have his father's last name. His father is not even on the birth certificate.

Some people use it to jab the father. I know someone who did that and when the court ordered it changed she was furious. BUT if he did not sign the birth certificate then its logical that he wasnt on it at that time and that she did not give Gab the name because of it. Or maybe she wasnt sure who the father really was then? Maybe she did not give him the opportunity to sign it?

so he is stable enough to be raising the 2 year old but not stable enough to be raising a 4 year old?

Thats messed up.

I found his record in TX and TN and in the last 10 years he has been accused of 6 felonies and a couple misdemeanors. He has even plead guilty to some of them. I think its obvious he has violent tendencies and I hope the mom of that child never leaves him alone with that toddler.

A lot of women that are not married actually do this. They say that if they get married in the future then they can just change the childs last name at that time. They say that it is harder to get stuff done when the mother has a different last name then the child does.

I have seen it done MANY times while I was pregnant with each of my kids. I use to hang out on babycenter forums and they would talk about it all the time.

I have one in each case. My oldests father is neither on the BC nor did I give him his fathers last name. He was born at 22 weeks and only lived two days, his father wanted nothing to do with him, therefore I was not going to force the issue. My last name is also on his headstone! My daughter however was given her fathers last name and we were not married but he was a part of my life during the pregnancy and was there for her birth. I never had any trouble nor did I have people look at me weird! We got married when she was two!

Didn't you post his record from Texas a few pages back? If so, thanks! He had an Assault causing bodily injury to a family member and an Assault with a deadly weapon, IIRC. Without a doubt, he's not a man I would want around my daughter or granddaughter.

Well, this isn't going to win me any votes for sleuther of the year, and I am ok with that :)

I do not think that Elizabeth had any reason, in her mind, to talk before getting a lawyer yesterday. To us, baby Gabe is missing and possibly in danger, but to these folks he is not at all in danger. There is no urgency at all in EJ's mind. She may not be street smart (or she might be, and it's just clouded with issues), but she's academically smart, as we have seen by her GPA. She knows enough not to talk until she has representation. I truly believe that.

This also fits in nicely with her answer (when asked if she were concerned about Gabriel's safety, well-being ect) of "No. I'm not"

She lived in Nashville for 15 years, recently moved to AZ. Has 3 daughters and happily divorced. She puts 'haha' behind that statement. Born in '72

I don't know if anyone noticed, but Elizabeth herself wasn't given her father's last name, either. I think she was given her mother's last name, Johnson.

Elizabeth's maternal grandfather is Bob Johnson. I don't think Elizabeth's mother and father were married- which is why Elizabeth has the same last name as her mother's father.

I hope that makes sense, lol!

This may not be new info here either, but I didn't see it discussed. TS posts regularly here looking for surrogate moms:

Why is she shopping for surrogate moms????
