I watched the early morning local news report on this on KPHO. They showed their latest video, about how the Smiths feel duped, etc. Then they showed pictures of EJ's home, how she cleared out Gabriel's room, getting rid of most of his stuff and putting his crib in a storage shed.

They said that the Tempe PD is asking the father not to talk to the press at this time. They also said that Tempe PD is getting an enormous amount of requests for information from the press, so Tempe PD will be holding daily press conferences at 1 p.m. (MST).

I don't have a link to any of this, maybe kpho.com will post the whole story on their site. My impression was/is that EJ had no intention of coming back to AZ with Gabriel. I don't know if that means that she was planning on killing him, or giving him away.

I do have some hope that he is still alive:``Gabriel was in San Antonio. He was there, he was alive, he was well,'' Cmdr. Kim Hale, who is leading Tempe police's investigation, said Monday. ``Elizabeth Johnson left San Antonio without him, that we can confirm. So what happened in San Antonio? Right now, Elizabeth Johnson is the only one who can answer that.''

Found this at article titled, "Police think missing AZ baby is alive"

I think this might be the video

Thank you, I didn't know for sure. I guess I still think 28 or 29 is a bit old to have an unplanned pregnancy and then adopt out your baby. Not that an unplanned pregnancy can't occur at any age, but I'm just surprised at that age she wouldn't keep her.

not sure she had much choice
she was in rehab according to TW
I wonder if there were any incidents that involved CPS (or whatever its called in the U.S.)

I find it interesting that there have been no updates on Tammi's FB for more than 7 hours. Makes me wonder if she isn't undergoing another day of questioning by law enforcement.

I don't think they make you permanently give up rights to your child because you are in rehab do they?

At the very least, I hope all of this is being looked into and by more folks now that the Biological father and his attorneys. I am wondering if that kidnapping charge is real similar to what Elizabeth did to Logan? I'm not saying it's probable, just that it's possible.

No, it's not similar; no child was involved
They did not have H at this point in time
Just a FYI :)

It seems weird to me that Elizabeth didn't give Gabriel Logan's last name, on the birth certificate. Most mothers want their children to have the fathers last name. It's just strange to me.

Idk about there but here if you're not married, the child automatically has to have the mothers last name, even if you list the dad's name on the b.c.

if the parents then wish to do a legal name change, they may but that takes time & costs $ etc. & is not priority to some

About an hour ago she responded to someones question, so there is activity.
Wonder if she's heading to NG tonight??

I hope so... she could just be lying low because they didn't come out of the NG show smelling so much like roses last night. I sure they now don't want to answer questions that will pin them down by the media. Also, a couple more articles have come out questioning their backgrounds and involvement. Of course, we can always hope they took that lawyers plea to heart last night and are submitting to a second polygraph or they have been arrested.

Maybe that's true there, but my grandson has my son's last name and they were not married? Never did get married. Are you in the US?

(misread sorry)

TAW is only 33 and H*nn*h is 5, so he would have only been 28 when she was born.

Yes, but JS daughter is older than TS -- I think that is what Time was saying-- point being that she was well into her 30s when she gave up H
Hmmn JS gave up her children for a man allegedly; I think may be the case with JS' daughter as she is remarried?

My question is -- do we know H's age for a fact, because I have heard 3 1/2 to 4, but 5 is new to me --I only ask because of the year of the incident --though affidavits do not mention any child involved

idk if anyone told you but we're not allowed to copy & paste or even post snips from fb or ms

Thank you! I will edit my post

In MI, you can give a child any name, including last. No proof required.
Later, if you don't like it or want to change it, take a hundred bucks to the courthouse and file a legal name change.
At least this was the process 5 years ago.

Are you sure she is re-married?? If this is her facebook then she is listed as being single, looking for men...... if this is her facebook then she was born in 72 which would make her 38 THIS YEAR. and she would have been about 33 when H was born (If H will be FIVE THIS year.)

As far as H's age I THOUGHT she was four! I think the other night on the NG show Jack said they have had her for four years since birth and adoption went through at two. let me see if i can find info

Gabe not having L's last name...

HERE I know a lot of people do this so they can get government assistance. They get free medical care during the pregnancy.(have seen several younger girls do this, heck even some older ones)

Just another thought.

Go here http://ccc.nashville.gov/portal/page/portal/ccc/caseSearch/caseSearchPublic/caseSearchPublicForms/ and enter his name, case will come up,you can see his BD, click on his BD to bring up his cases. Click on a case under case status, then scroll down to Charging Instrument and click to open the affidavit.

Hey there nmk! I don't know about the 'any last name' part ..but, I'm in S.C. and both my son's daughters (2 of my 3 Beautiful g-daughters :beats:) have his last name. I don't remember them having to show any ID or anything..but then again I wasn't at the hospital the entire time either.
hmm..even though it's a different state..I'm curious now, so I'm going to ask them!

I found some sites in my Google adventure that say you can change a child's name in AZ up until they are a year old, then it needs a court order. So far, nothing on the rules for naming that child in the first place. Frustrating to say the least.
