*Trial set to begin-CANCELLED! (@ 8:30am AZT) - AZ – Chase J. Stanfield (39) & Gail Marie Stanfield (50) found dead from multiple gunshot wounds morning of Oct. 27, 2022, Whispering Pines subdivision of Payson. *Hunter Blair Stanfield (19/now 21) son arrested & charged (3/14/23), indicted (3/21/23) & arraigned (3/27/23) with 2 counts of 1st degree premeditated murder. Gila County
Trial was set to begin on 11/5/25 but was continued by defense.

Just a docket update AND!! I discovered a link to the court minutes. But I can't find the url for it. From 10/13/25 pretrial hearing - my BOLD & RED.

PRETRIAL CONFERENCE
APPEARANCES: The State is represented by Joseph Collins, Chief Deputy County Attorney; Defendant is present, in custody, appearing virtually, with counsel, Adam Crawshaw, who is present in the courtroom.
This is the date set for Pretrial Conference.

Mr. Crawshaw requests that a Settlement Conference be set, State informs the Court it is not willing to do a Settlement Conference. Mr. Crawshaw requests the Court under the rule to order parties to conduct a Settlement Conference for reasons stated on the record. State reports that a plea offer will not be forthcoming.
