I think LE agencies have learned a lot from other cases (Ayla Reynolds, Lisa Irwin, etc) in regards to keeping things "general". It is a good thing for the safety of Isabel imhoo. As long as they are concurrently working all the angles I am personally fine with that.

I thought about this too, but being a nurse- your in a hurry, Saturday morning and dont won't to wake the kids so they can all sleep in. Yes I can see mom looking back and regreting not doing it. And have to admit I have slipped out in a hurry to get to the hospital and not checked on my daughter. Its one of those things Im sure that mother is regretting right now.

O/t I remember Jaycee's mom saying she had been in a rush the morning Jaycee was taken and didn't kiss her goodbye. It was something she obviously always regretted. It was especially heartbreaking during the interview she and her mom did together bc she apologized to Jaycee for it and said it was a message to all moms to always remember to take the time. There are more important things than being a little late. Although, we all do it sometimes... It made me cry. Well, everything about that interview made me cry...

Prayers Isabel is found soon, safe and sound.

Yes I got that feeling too. The media seemed to be pushing for him to say it was the parents but he seemed to keep it all general. Which is good so no opinions are formed until things are more verified. They seemed to be more proffesional than past cases IMO.

Well then, what are the likely scenarios here.

Neighbor or local RSO, is a strong possibility. It seems like it was someone who felt comfortable entering the room with several family members inside. And two dogs. So he was very determined or experienced or motivated, or high on meth.

Family member? I am not feeling that about this case, but I don't know enough about them. It just does not feel like it so far,imo. But there certainly are crazy uncles in many families.

Random intruder? I don't think so. I think she had been seen already earlier sometime, and maybe followed home.

wish i could be of more help i live on the east coast. i did share the facebook page on my wall who knows maybe someone will re post it and maybe someone on my friends list knows someone in az. kinda wish they could do modified amber alerts. like with the description of the child when she was last seen what she was wearing kinda thing so if someone maybe saw her. as to the dogs not barking. if the dog or dogs are older dogs ones that are getting their in age more tired might not bark at noises.
i have a 9 year old golden retriever and he has the energy of a puppy and he will bark very loud for anything even family members coming over

If they have been together since high school, and their oldest child is 14 already, then I am going to label the father as innocent in her disappearance. I do not think he is involved.

But I do wonder about any other family members or friends. I think whoever came in was familiar with that home and that child.

One thing that doesn't seem to have been mentioned is the possibility of foot/shoe prints in the yard by her window. Noticed from the aerial photo posted here earlier that it appears to be a dirt yard around the house and there should be shoe prints from the perpetrator.

no indications that she has a hx of wandering off. nothing that has panned out as much as they like. Standard protocol to interview all RSO in the 3 mile radius each and every one in physical interview with what sounds like alibi hx. There was a trash pickup in the area before the police got the area secured is why the landfill was being searched. Couple days going through all that.

Though it's not going to happen and is probably cost prohibitive, I wish they would go into every RSO's premises with dogs in case she is in one of those locations. We know that Jessica Lundsford was kept for a couple of days alive, and that police came to the property likely when she was alive! If they had gone into that home with dogs looking for her scent she would have been saved.

It could be just the way he speaks. One thing he did say was that it isn't a high-crime neighborhood. I would think if the family were involved at all in Isabel's disappearance he would say just the opposite to lead everyone to believe it was a stranger abduction.
