We are mountain time. We don't do daylight savings time. Our time doesn't change. Currently EST is 3 hours difference.

Wish the rest of the country didn't either. Don't see the point.

That's right. But, Arizona doesn't do daylight savings time. I have no idea which way to figure it other than google what time is it in Tucson. :blushing:

Presser in 45 minutes. Do we have a live streaming site? I'll start checking twitter.
Arizona is simply Arizona time. To make it easier, we are currently at the same time as the west coast, whereas normally they are an hour behind us. The rest of the states in Mountain Time (New Mexico for instance) are an hour ahead until Oct. Basically, figure out what time it is in California and we're at the same time and go from there LOL

If the family does have dogs then the perp probably went out through the window. Too risky to walk around the house with 2 dogs in there.

Agree. Also it would most likely rule out the perpetrator being in any other part of the home than her bedroom. And with that, who had knowledge of the house and what room Isabel slept in?

OT just a bit (sorry mods)

Wouldn't it be great if all realtors/people with houses for rent were REQUIRED to inform prospective tenants/buyers of the presence of RSO's in a close vicinity ?

I know they are required to inform buyers/tenants if anyone has been murdered or killed themselves in a property...why not this too ? It is public record, online in most or all states.... hmmm this could be my summer project :)

Might need a law for that. Would be good. Potential buyers could also be given information as to the website that would give them that information before buying a home.

I've seen a few (4, that I can remember) comments on news articles that I can count from all different people reporting that there was a suspicious male and/or a suspicious vehicle watching the children on the playground play at Isabel's school.

I can't help but think, if this is true, that is is related somehow. I wonder if someone also watched the family, knew the mother left for work each night, and was brazen enough to go in and take Isabel. If she was abducted, whoever abducted her is pretty brave to go into a house, in the middle of the night, and take a child.

bbm

Sadly, this reminds me of Jorelys Rivera and Ryan Brunn... :(

Chloroformed?

Could be. It would appear unlikely the perp merely had his hand over her mouth, carrying her, and exited with her through the window unless there was someone else outside the window.

I would love that. In our complex, we kept (unsuccessfully) pursuing a friendship with some kids in another building. They were not interested at all in playing with other kids so we finally gave up. Then I saw on Family Watchdog that their dad is an RSO. :maddening:

We actually had a lease on the unit across from them but backed out when our unit became available (it's more desirable - porch, etc). So I contacted the realtor after learning of this and informed her. She said there is nothing she can do - that it would actually be illegal for her to inform clients b/c of privacy laws, etc.

In many states that information can already be accessed on the Internet by Zip Code.

If they watched and knew that there were dogs, even if in dads room, it had to be someone who had faith the dogs would not alert. I think this is someone who watched closely or knew the family fairly well. I have dogs, they sleep with me, but friends will call to say they are coming, afraid to enter my yard in case they are out to potty...lol. I wonder what breed?

We don't know how the house is set up- it could be a fairly typical "ranch" floorplan where the smaller bedrooms are in the front with windows in the front yard and the master in the back. If the dogs were in the backyard or in the master it would be easy to open the front window and go from there.

Also--as to knowing the floorplan. If this neighborhood is done in a fairly traditional style- once again the "ranch" style if you know one, you know them all. A quick peek through a window and you can tell what room is in pinks and what one is in blue. I live in a neighborhood and can tell just from my evening walks which kid lives in which room (girly stickers on the window also a giveaway). And if it is in a development, usually there are only 3 or 4 different floorplans. So I don't think it would be an issue.

Seems like KVOA is the only local station on top of this story.
