Wow, this is heartbreaking. They are consistent. I totally understand what they mean about not wanting to have to be doing this, and now that time has passed they are ready to be more active in the public aspect of the search.

They don't have an attorney.

  • #965

My thoughts: are going back to JM being Sergio's brother. Perhaps from another mother or father but looking at Sergio, I see more of JM in Sergio.

If you need to look at us and accuse us we're strong enough to take it, you won't find anything, about us, eventually Isabel will be home and we'll know who did it. There is nothing we need an attorney for. Just please keep Isabel's face out there. We get support from family, pray together. His family has been in town, hers still is. We still need to raise our family. No idea who would want to harm the family, no grudges, no debts that would lead anybody to take Isabel, everybody loves Isabel. She's a girly girl who loves to play, do nails, hair, makeup. Everybody who knows her is in love with her because she is so special.

? Was this in the interview?

Yes, Sergio had family there on his side, but they have now left. Not that they left him, but probably returned back home.

LE didn't forbid them to address the media but advised them to let LE work the first few days, now they're more encouraging of media contact, Some specifics he can't talk about to protect the integrity of the investigation.

He cant say who called 911 by the sounds of it.

I think it would be clearer if the sentence was Sergio had his side of the family there but they have now left. At least this is clearer to me. jmo

Initially he thought Isabel was taken through the window but now he's not sure any more, can't go into specifics.

Going into the house is hard for her and the boys, to walk there and her toys, writing on the wall, pictures, crayons, Saturday night they were allowed home and it was awful, slept together, were uncomfortable, it was extremely painful. They've gone back and forth to gather a few things. They surrendered the house, do what you will. It doesn't feel safe now that Isabel was taken from there. Lots of chemicals have been used in the kids rooms and they need to be professionally removed. They've asked for permission to get the house cleaned. Hoping to get back home soon.

We've discussed this in previous threads - different cultural groups view wearing the rosary differently. Catholic practice varies quite a bit among different regions and age groups. I really don't think you can determine anything from this, because religion is such a personal practice. What is "appropriate" for one person is very different from another.

1st BBM: That MIGHT be the case, however, as I previously stated, the Rosary is NOT to be worn as a piece of jewelry around the neck is pretty standard across the board ...

2nd BBM: What a person thinks is "appropriate" does NOT make it right or "acceptable" ...

And it really set off my radar when I saw the parents with the Rosary around their necks ... it is like they are trying to make a "statement" that they are "religious" ...

I would like to know IF -- IF there are any other PREVIOUS photos of the Celis with the Rosary around their necks ...

OR ... are they now wearing the Rosary SINCE Isabel was reported "missing" ...

No one was there that night and cant say who called 911. Uncle/Cousin was around that early in the morning to be knocking on neighbours door. Still wonder about that guy. JMO
