Villasenor said the information turned up by the dogs required follow-up, but he wouldn’t reveal what was found. One is a cadaver dog, and the other is a foreign scent dog.

A foreign scent dog, so maybe they just got a hit on some drugs or something??? Or where drugs had been??? Combine that with "sensitive nature" reported a day or so ago and I'm really beginning to feel there is much much more than we know.

So right now, I have a feeling LR is the uncle that knocked on the door of the neighbor.

Darn it, he wasn't the one that knocked on the door. POOP!!!

  • #464
LR is saying he doesn't know anything about any uncle knocking on someone's door

  • #465
He was at work. Not the uncle going to doors that morning.

Hmm, he said it wasn't him and he's not aware of who that could be.

Hah...JVM tried to get him to say WHO was the uncle who knocked on the neighbors door that morning, but he said he didn't know anything about that. Ha...Nice try Jane. Thanks though.

I think I read that a foreign scent dog would detect the scent of a person who is different than the usual people in the house. The scent of a person that stands out from the 'background' scents. Possibly they also detect other scents that are out of the ordinary. My recollection is not the best regarding that article.

ITA about the Saturday garbage pick up. Someone without access to a vehicle could have placed her in a commercial garbage dumpster. She could have been killed in her room . MOO

It is just such a strange coincidence that the family's dogs were let out of the yard exactly a week before Isabel vanished. I wonder if something scared him off the week before,or he lost his nerve at the last minute ? IMO this could well be someone who lives very close by. Someone who has been in the house before. Knows the layout.Knows the family routines. MOO

It's a scary and horrible thought, but I mentioned on here the other day, the dumpster for 5 Guys Burgers is so close to the Celis house that someone wouldn't even need a car to take her there. There are no obstacles between the home and the dumpsters except for the wall/fence around the yard and then it's a 2 minute walk to the dumpster. Plus, it would be pretty dark after 11 PM, all of those businesses are closed by then.

Why does the father shut his eyes when he talks.. IIRC Susan Smith did the same..JMHO

LR doesn't know anyone who would make demands. Family is very close. Can't discuss if Isa's bedroom was messed up.

Uncle: Luis R.

Uncle says:

We want to first of all thank everyone for their prayers and the love we have received especially from the community. We want to continue to pray for Isabel's safe return. Rebecca and Sergio don't want to continue to speak to the media, want focus on Isabel.

Q: How is family holding up?
L: This is just something that you never think can happen to you. You wish that it doesn't happen to you. Its just a feeling that you never want to go through. Its just very hard for Family. Its the whole family that is going through the same thing. We go to sleep and we just hope that its just a nightmare and we wake up and were in the same situation.

Q: Where and when did you hear your niece was missing?
L: I was at work at the moment when I got the first notice and I came right away to assist.

Q: Were you the one knocking on doors?
L: No, I do not know anything of that.

Q: What are the parents doing on a day to day basis?
L: Theres really nothing that we can do except wait and wait for any updates that investigators bring us. We are usually always together and just praying to God to bring Isabel home safely.

<Video of Sergio talking on Today>

Q: Do you know any reason why anybody would want revenge against them?
L: No, we don't know anyone who would even think about something like that. There really is no reason why anyone would do something like that.

Q: Have you seen the inside of Isabels room?
L: At the moment I cant really discuss anything in regards to inside of the house.

Q: How are the brothers doing?
L: They've lost a sibling, they want their sister back and their main concern is for her to come back. They love her to death and they are never going to stop looking for her.

Q: Did parents pass polygraphs?
L: At the moment I'm not aware of any polygraphs that they've taken. I'm not liable to say at this moment.

Q: Did you hear anything from yours sister about the dogs barking that day? Thoughts?
L: Once again, these questions are mainly for the investigators. We cannot answer any type of those questions. If the neighbor heard, that is their perception of what happened.

Edit: Not to sure about if he said they do or don't want to continue to speak to the media. Since he repeated that they want the focus to remain on Isabel and not them, i put Don't.

Yup, the tone of his voice did not match what he was saying, imo.

If he REALLY didn't know that an uncle knocked on the neighbor's door, then I might expect he would be curious --but he seemed kind of annoyed instead.

Wouldn't most houses have a "foreign scent" if all it takes is someone other than the basic occupants? That seems a waste of time to me...JMO

  • #477
Nothing new I guess..

  • #478
And that's it. All we got was his name and that he's not JM. He didn't know about any polygraphs. He supports the family and they all miss Isa very much.

  • #479
We have the girl next door who said the uncle was knocking, right? No other witness?

  • #480
Why wouldn't he know if they took polygraphs? I am pretty sure my siblings would know...that is a traumatic event in itself...JMO
