It appears that the family also is keeping stuff "close to their home vest" as well as LE keeping stuff "close to LE's vest".
Wouldn't most houses have a "foreign scent" if all it takes is someone other than the basic occupants? That seems a waste of time to me...JMO
:seeya: Thank You for the link and update ...
snipped from above link :
Sgt. Maria Hawke said at a press conference today, "It is accurate that the parents have done polygraph tests," but those results will not be shared.
Now, this is JMO and MOO ... but IF they "passed" the poly's, why can't LE just say so ?
By not doing so, leads to speculation ... and further speculation ...
So ... when LE does NOT reveal any "passed" results ...
JMO and MOO, there is a "reason" for it because I do not see how saying that they passed would in any way compromise the investigation ...
:moo:
Yup, the tone of his voice did not match what he was saying, imo.
If he REALLY didn't know that an uncle knocked on the neighbor's door, then I might expect he would be curious --but he seemed kind of annoyed instead.
I agree, but I wouldn't really expect a certain uncle of mine to say "uncle" when we were really raised as cousins. Without the family dynamics explained it is hard to tell.
Yes...he knows who it was. Another thing LE probably does not want them to talk.
What did Marc Klaas say? I missed it.

Why does the father shut his eyes when he talks.. IIRC Susan Smith did the same..JMHO
Moo of course but the way I viewed this specific response to Anne's question was that Becky had just finished answering the question of they know that it is necessary that they be under that scrutiny and that yes it was difficult but nothing they couldn't handle and especially if it In any way brought them closer to bringing Isa home.. IMO essentially Becky has answered the question thoroughly about it being difficult but necessary and that "THEY" could handle it.. She was speaking for them both.. So I believe when the exact same question was posed to Sergio that what was he to do but repeat again what Becky had already very successfully stated as to what and why they felt about the situation?? IMO he instead of just repeating the same sentiment again he expressed that it was so big and overwhelming as a whole(the entire situation) from beginning to where they are presently and that they had a difficult time even wrapping their heads around ALL OF IT(from her being taken.. To the scrutiny..to the 13 long days/nights with no answers.. To where they are now).. ALL OF IT..
TxLady2,
Yes, I do understand about police interrogation techniques ( not from TV LOL ).
I am loathe to admit it,but I just do not feel that the Celis' are being completely forthright. There is just something that doesn't seem to sit right. And I also think it may well have nothing to do with Isabel. Whatever this "something" is,it kind of clouds the picture for me. I have not made any mention of this before now... MOO The LEO's I've known told me that there is the science of police work, evidence etc.And there is also the other part of police work, which often relies heavily on intuition... Just some thoughts and MOO

So... which is it?
Two different people, two different statements/opinions. Not uncommon. I assume this former FBI agent is not involved in the investigation.
