The family is sitting somewhere at 4:00 AM Arizona time, probably never went to bed so the can do the Today Show interview. Then they have the bright lights from the cameras & area hitting them in their faces as they do the Today Show interview.

Did I get the wrong impression that the interview was taped not live ?

The mother looks fake to me. I think the father's emotions are genuine, but the mother rubs me the wrong way.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, the Celis family has a surveillance camera on their house on the alley-side, but the camera is pointing up to the sky (right now).

The camera is on their house and pointing to the sky??? :what:

Maybe this uncle went on JVM as a way to clear his name. Now that the buzz is out there that LE is focusing on an "uncle" (=JM=cousin IMO), maybe he wants everyone to know it isn't him, lol.

They did both I believe. A taped segment for opening video, and then live via video.

I think the producer stated the camera is on the Celis house, back of house/alley side and the camera points to the sky. You can see the camera up on top of the house.

Did I hear her wrong?

I believe, from what I heard, the camera is facing the back of the house/alley. Perfect position to see what happened if she was kidnapped, but it was turned upwards facing the sky.

Yes. Makes one wonder if someone pushed it up so it would not show what they were doing.

Thanks but who owns the camera? Whose house? That is huge if there is a camera pointing at the house and it was facing upwards. Someone moved it, imo.

The camera looked pretty high up. I doubt someone installed it that way. There is a reason it was moved.

There was a taped interview with a reporter that aired with information about Isa's case, then that lead to the live interview with Ann Curry.

I think it's called a "segway to the story" but don't quote me on that one.

The way it was said it could be taken either it was on the house, or it was just facing the house. They weren't specifically clear about what it was attached to..but they had a picture, looked to be the same color as the house.

I rewatched Jane's show regarding the camera, and the camera is on the Celis home at the top of the house, back side that faces the alleyway.

Doofus me forgot I can rewind my TV.

Camera is ON Celis house. Picture coming.

Could it have been left there by previous owner?

So right now, I have a feeling LR is the uncle that knocked on the door of the neighbor.

Darn it, he wasn't the one that knocked on the door. POOP!!!
Patty, will you show me how to strike through? That's so cool.

That is very disturbing news. Hope they investigate that camera. If it was at a house or a business across from the Celis home this may be an important break in the case, imo.

If it was on the Celis home, then I will climb off the fence and admit someone in that home is involved.

BBM

I tend to think it is spin - of course, LE always hopes to bring a missing person whether adult or child home alive.

Does anyone else find it unusual/odd that they checked the landfill so early in this case?? After hearing that dogs had an alert (whatever kind of dogs we don't know) in the house, it leads me to believe it was a cadaver dog that had an alert since they went right to checking the landfill.

Will an HRD dog alert on ONLY the odor of a dead human being? I mean, could they have been misled if a family pet had died in the home?
