Personally, I've never seen a Catholic person wearing rosary beads around their neck like it was a piece of jewelry. The first time I saw this was when Casey Anthony wore it and my reaction what? Is that a new fashion thing?

Yes gold chains with a crucifix and so on but rosary beads? Never until CA and this case.

(BTW - I'm not saying it's wrong or right or whether I consider a person guilty or not).

BBM: I went to Catholic School my entire life ... and we were taught that you do NOT wear the Rosary around your neck like a piece of jewelry ... NEVER ... "Back in my day", if you were caught doing this, you would have been "scrubbing" the convent and rectory floors ! Seriously, you would have gotten some sort of a "punishment" ...

However, more recently, I have seen people wearing it ... Now, whether they are not educated about the Rosary, or whether they are making a "statement", the way I was brought up it is not an acceptable way of "displaying" the Rosary ...

Sorry for the O/T ... BUT ... JMO and MOO MOO MOO ...

It really set off my "radar" when I saw the parents wearing the Rosary around their neck in their first interview -- AND --they did it again on the Today Show !

Now -- it would NOT have "set off my radar" IF the Rosary would have been in the Celis' hands -- that would have been "appropriate" use of the Rosary.

Again, JMO and MOO MOO MOO ... but I do NOT like to see ANYONE misuse the Rosary -- AND -- any other religious symbols ...

Asking if the parents aren't telling everything they know because some TH said so.

She answers that she doesn't know what is expected of them, they break down every night but not in front of the public, she's a private person.

She can't think of any reason to take Isa.

He says they've gone through everybody who have been in their home and how can they trust anybody now, they're cooperating, working with the media, are grateful.

I have found that googleman usually won't go down alleys :maddening:

When I put in my own address, I ONLY get the alley view, can't see the front yard at all. HOWEVER, when I rented it out and my tenants dogs destroyed the rear lawn, I was able to provide the alley-view photo (which had the Google watermark, etc.) showing the yard WITH GRASS. One of their grandchildrens' spring horse was in the photo, which disporved their claims that the yard had no grass when they moved in or at any time while they lived there. This was sufficient to back up my receipts from the lawn guy showing he had cut FRONT and REAR yards for me up until the week they took occupancy, and the judge found in my favor.

They want everybody who has been around Isabel questioned, to be subjected to the same scrutiny they are.

They are frustrated and share the frustration with LE, there is only so much information they're allowed to be told (he shakes his head yes and no a lot)

Where is the donation money going? Into the efforts to get Isabel's picture out, posters, banners etc.

The photo you put up is the Celis' home and the pictures from Google are date back to 2008.
