I agree about their personalities. We had two tuxedo brothers, and they were more like 'dogs' than cats. They liked to ride in the car, and they actually came when you called them. They were great kittycats, may they rest in Peace.

That is funny you say that because I was never a cat person until I got him I always had a little doggie and my family and friends said I wouldnt like a cat because they are indifferent and do what they want and dont come when you call them etc but I couldnt turn this little guy away so I took him in and now two years later if I call him HE COMES RUNNING just like a dog and jumps on my lap everytime without fail. I have been told that tuxies are one of the few cats that will actually respond like that. Its great! And now I like cats better than dogs, GREAT animals and companions!

Gitana1 thanks! Your reply to tiredblondy makes sense and fits with my more recent thoughts. Don't shoot me folks, but when SG kept emphasizing how beautiful Isabel is, it just struck me wrong. Along with a few other things he said.

Initially, I thought about an accidental overdose, corporal punishment that went too far and covering for an accident caused by a sibling.

I guess time will tell. Hopefully we'll learn more next week.

Whatever parent the boys were taken from, LE or CPS would have had to give a reason to them right? Do you think they said 'You are a suspect in your daughter's disappearance'?
I wonder if the parents will say anything? Because if I was the parent they kids were taken from, and I had done NOTHING wrong, I would be all over the media (If I were involved in a high profile case like this)
Wonder who we will hear from first, the parent or LE?

The whole Ave Maria thing BLEW MY MIND as a Catholic there are very few things that move us like THAT SONG and he did it SO WONDERFULLY! If Sergio is able to be that person one minute and someone who was removed from his family by CPS the next then well my ability to judge people is way worse than I freaking first thought.

BBM
Don't doubt your ability to judge.

Just because someone sings like an angel, doesn't mean it's so. That's been my experience anyway. Some people I've been around behind the scenes (who were very talented) were NOT nice people AT ALL, some downright evil and mean. Their audience thought they were wonderful though, and they played their part to perfection.

Not making any assumptions about which parent received the no contact order, but I felt from the first PC that something was wrong between the two....not sure what, but SOMETHING seemed off?

I was just making coffee and thinking about that very thing. At the time it didn't strike me as odd. But I'm standing there thinking of my dad, my BIL, my daughters father, and asking myself if they ever referred to their young daughter that way. They didn't. They said 'cute little face' but not 'beautiful face'. Then I felt bad for thinking that, just because he said that maybe it doesn't mean anything. But I was thinking about it.

The closest I have come to thinking anyone in the family was involved, if someone in the family had to be involved, was an accidental death by a sibling and them covering that up. But I can't ignore what LE just came out with.

I was going to thank you for this post until I saw 'I like cat's better than dogs'.

A few things are sticking out to me in light of the CPS no order news. As always, this is all MOO:

No release of info regarding who called 911 or who was at the home

Neighbor states she heard hers and the Celis' dogs barking and two men talking at 6:30 (IIRC)

No info on who actually was the last to see Isabel

No searches beyond the 3 mile radius and no volunteer searches or TES involved

Time from "abduction" to first media appearance by SC and RC

Wrong date for media released surveillance video

SC "correcting" himself in interview (either is-wa-IS or is-is-IS)

I'm not sure how these pieces fit together yet, but I'm starting to lean towards one of the parents being involved (hate typing this, but feeling its SC) either directly or indirectly, which IMHO explains the hinky feeling between SC and RC during the first media appearance. MOO JMO MOO

I highly doubt we will hear from either of the parents on this subject. Nor LE unless an arrest is made. They have said as much as they can say. Since it's a confidential matter ...

I guess we won't be seeing any more interviews either. Finally got them talking and now they will be back in hiding again. Short and sweet.

Not at all, Starry...she still needs to be found, no matter what is going on...I will try to listen later, and this weekend, if computer and WS cooperate...

Starry...
WE NEED YOU and ALL the scanners!:please:

I haven't been on the scanner thread tonight because I am having such a hard time keeping up with the developments here... but I will be back soon!

I agree about the hinkiness of the ' She is just SOOOOOOO Beautiful...' speech. That rubbed me the wrong way too. I know all fathers think their little girls are beautiful, but at the time he was supposed to be talking about how much he wanted her to be returned home safely. And so it seemed odd that he was so stuck on that aspect of their relationship. Like wouldn't he say he missed her so much because she was his baby girl? Or something more along those lines?

But say the parent didn't do anything wrong-then do you think we would hear from him/her?
I agree we won't hear from LE until an arrest is made.

Does anyone remember, during that first interview, if SG said 'She DOESN'T deserve this' or 'She DIDN'T deserve this'?

If Sergio is able to be that person one minute and someone who was removed from his family by CPS the next then well my ability to judge people is way worse than I freaking first thought.

Maybe Im just jaded... but, TO ME, it seemed Sergio was 'performing' and I dont just mean a song performance. Forgive me if I am wrong, but I just got the feeling he was enjoying showing off his talent and the attention. I realize that there is no 'set' way for a parent to act when their child is missing, but there is no way I could (*or would even want to*) sing for an audience, not knowing where my child was. I read on Becky's FB page where she had posted a few months ago they werent particularly religous.. so I dont think "Ava Maria" was something that Sergio knew by heart, which means he had to practice the song. Which was time not spent looking for his daughter. He also coached the benefit little league games, again, time he could have been looking for his daughter.

Even if it was fruitless and I was just wandering, I would be combing every inch of Tucson I could.. and begging for my child to anyone that would listen.. Or I'd be in a rubber room somewhere.. but there is absolutely no way I could have a song or a game on my mind. I just couldnt function.

I have seen evidence to support that. Pretty shocking. IMO

I don't know what you two are talking about!

Neither parent strikes me as shy. Sergio reminds me of a Drama Queen. Everything he says and does is over the top.

BBM - In my very first post I said the same thing, I actually said injection though - I think I dreamed it but it has nagged me all along. I don't think corporal punishment or anything sexual or anything - just something going hideously wrong. No idea why - just the gut

never!! !!

I think those are different circumstances though Katy.

I think one of them finally had an emotional breakdown and no, CPS wouldnt allow that parent to have contact with the boys until they get help and can prove they are stable.

If Sergio was threatening to kill himself it could have been Becky who called LE and then LE got CPS involved.

IMO
:seeya:

I never heard of being denied the right to see your child done because you had an emotional breakdown. Not being able to see your child would cause people to have one, imo. The wording was that DETECTIVES gleaned information recently and informed CPS of what they learned.

Do you all realize there are about 30 Sleuthers on this thread right now... in the middle of the night?
It is 12:30 a.m. for me.... so that makes it 2:30 a.m. for a lot of you?

Are we dedicated or what!?! :what:
