Just catching up/waking up:

The MSM article did say NBC has been paying for their hotel, suggesting it wasn't just for the interview. It doesn't matter, but they did say they didn't receive any compensation/didn't need to when obviously some sort of arrangement involving money did take place.

I quoted your post because you said exactly what has been on my mind. It doesn't matter. It just struck me personally as somewhat disingenuous. When I attend conferences, I get a per diem for my meals, and my hotel expenses plus the costs of registration and presenting at the conference are paid from grants. I, the funding agencies, and the secretaries who help me submit my expenses all consider that compensation even though I don't have to report it to the IRS and I am not making money off it. Another example, if people participate in a study and get reimbursed for their travel or (if it involves seeing a doc and having medical procedures performed) medical expenses, that is considered compensation...even though it was totally necessary for the person to travel to the hospital and have the tests done.

No, the Celises have no obligation to be honest with me. They don't owe me anything. I am just telling you all what reaction I had to the situation, and why.

WHERE does it say/suggest it wasn't just for the interview? :moo: and :banghead:

I'm sitting on my hands at all these "conclusions". ARG.

OK, I just meant he had been ID'd...

Thanks. I just wanted everyone reading here to know the difference.

I have a beat up Atlas sitting next to me. I've used it for more states, counties etc. than I can count as I follow these sad cases across the US.

Fellow New Mexican here. I live a little north of Santa Fe. :seeya:

I'm lost. If the female voice is the dispatcher, why is it said that the complainant is the sister?

I was thinking maybe Sergio called relatives to tell them Isa was missing and asked his or Rebecca's sister to call 911 while he searched.

But it seemed in the way it was worded, that the 'sister' was going to be the one to meet LE there on the scene, while the mother was on the way home from work.

So that tells us that there were family members THERE at the Celis home before LE were even called. imo

Showing video of the maid going to the house. She is standing outside of the door, leaves a bucket, and goes to her yellow car. Video stops at that point.
I thought the family was suggesting that a hazmat team had to clean up the dangerous chemicals (Luminol) in their home. Merry Maids is not a hazmat team. What's up with Merry Maids, a bucket, and dish soap? The Celis family could have cleaned their home with these same supplies.
How many days did they live in that hotel at NBC's expense? :silenced:

Is it possible that one of the boys called 911 and when they said sister, they were referring to Isabel being the "sister"?

I've had numerous dealings with TPD and calling 911. Sometimes what you tell the dispatcher gets skewed until you talk to an actual officer. The whole picture of the story usually comes together when you talk to them. Just my experience.

Also, I was thinking if Sergio and the older boy ran out the door and Sergio possibly said something like, "Call 911" to the 10 yo, the dispatcher MAY have believed the boy was a girl, thus the confusion of being the "sister".

I know it is all confusing re: 911 tapes...but I don't find any of it to be suspicious...they said no one was there the night before, they never really said anything about the morning...just that some family came over, etc...

In my neck of the woods, Merry Maids, The Maids, Molly Maids, Merry Pop-ins, etc. charge a minimum of $72 per hour for housekeeping services. This is for "basic" cleaning - a little more than "fluff and buff" but not "the works". I feel certain that ridding a house of Luminol, fingerprint dusting, general ransacking of cabinets, closets, drawers, etc. would jack the cleaning costs of a 3,800 square foot home into a triple digit expense. :moo:

The young brother's voice would sound like a female's voice. He could have been mistaken for a sister.

Could somone please help with posting a link to where I can listen to this "scanner tape" with the alleged female/sister person calling in that Isabel is missing?

Thanks in advance...

So true. If it was my home I'd insist on replacing the carpet and having all walls freshly painted. I've read LE sprays super glue on the woodwork to look for latent finger prints. That would surely ruin the wood. I wonder if their homeowner's insurance will help out. We haven't seen any recent videos of the home so it could be a crew has been there for cleanup. What a mess! There are companies like Service Master that clean up messes after floods and fires.

I know insurance will pay for substitute housing if your home is temporarily inhabitable. I hope this is the case here.

The caller was not actually heard, only the dispatcher. It was on JVM tonight. I don't know if a link would be available yet, but I will check.

But the actual 911 call has not been released by LE.

I cannot fathom the parent of a child who has (allegedly) been abducted/kidnapped asking the 10-year-old sibling of said child to make this important 911 phone call :banghead:
