I keep wondering why there are no ground searches going on. Or why the family or LE has not contacted TES to come and search for Isabel.

Is it because they have no idea where to start looking?

I'm sitting on my hands at all these "conclusions". ARG.
"has been" implies a longer amount of time, so that answers your question... I don't think anyone has come to a conclusion about this, but I think there are two points to note (others have already said this is not proof the Celis' are guilty of anything). The Celis didn't disclose any compensation when they could have per the question about getting paid and no one has said if they just stayed in the hotel a day or two or if it's a longer term deal (and whether it includes other expenses like meals).

Regarding the cleaning - we have no idea what was used to analyze the house, so we really cannot say what would be involved in cleaning it up. Furthermore, even if it were simply fingerprint dust - I would still consider that toxic. I wouldn't want my children inhaling particles. Or, if I were the Celis family, I may assume some of the things used were toxic, even if they aren't. I really doubt it would be high on my priority list to figure out everything that was used. I'd probably just want someone to clean it up so I could keep my mind on the important things.

Regardless, I think people are putting way too much stock into this cleaning thing. It has no real bearing on who has taken Isa or where she may be found.

Were scenthounds used to try to track Isabela's scent ? Outside the house ?

Wouldn't the scent hounds be able to pick up the area were Isabel last was ? Where did her scent end ?

It's strange that this has never been mentioned ? MOO

I don't see why is it so 'hinky' that Sergio may have had someone else call while he went looking for her??
It's like people are just choosing to ignore the reasons why it is possible and perhaps not suspicious at all.

I could see if this family had a past that also raised red flags-but so far nothing of the sort has been found.

Although LE has not ruled out the parents (or anyone else for that matter), one thing continually sticks out in my mind.

If LE thought for one second that the Celis' had any issues (drugs, neglect, abuse) that caused Isabel to go missing, you can bet that CPS would be doing an investigation. That is something that I have no doubt in my mind that we would have heard about by now.

Also, it has been mentioned by LE that the Celis family has a very active social life. IMO, a 10-year-old with an active social life and possibly a little more mature and confident than your average 10-year old. I think he would be perfectly capable of calling 911. My cousin's son called 911 when he was 5. His dad went into a diabetic attack and he couldn't wake him up. He was there alone with dad, and baby sister while mom was at work.

It seems LE does not WANT help. They have specifically said the searches are a job for LE.

After looking at their residence, I find it hard for a kidnapper to climb over a cement fence, and get into Isabel's room on the night she finally decides to sleep in there, and pass the dogs and the two brothers sleeping and mother and father. Get the kid and then gets out the window and over the fence. If this is how it happened, then its more then one kidnapper.

I agree, all we ever heard is one of dogs reacted to something. It has been speculated, it was a cadaver dog.

This case gives me a hopeless feeling

It's important to remember the police have said they think it's very important that they don't get "tunnel-vision" regarding any suspects.

Sorry I have not been able to keep current on the news in this case.

Where is LE currently searching?

CPS investigations are confidential, until they are proved to be founded or unfounded. I really would be surprised if CPS was involved ; Isabel appeared very well cared for and very happy...MOO

Now that is great logic and you are right. If the Celis family was really selling drugs  or using  then CPS would have yanked the two other children away from them right away.

And we know their two sons are with them because they have talked about the boys and having to deal with Isa being missing but getting the boys back in school and back to as much normalcy as they can under the circumstances.

I dont think the 10 year old called... in fact it hasn't even been verified who called 911, but I think it may have been the 14 year old. He wasnt seen out in the neighborhood until around 9ish when he was going to businesses in the area to see if anyone had seen his sister.

True, but if they are searching, media should have picked up on it. We often read about police searches taking place that they we did not know about in advance but there has been very little searching, as far as we know.

Right,Two FBI trained dogs were sent into the house. But, I always wondered if scenthounds were used to track Isabel's path from the house ? Were was the last place that Isabel's scent was tracked to ?

Oh don't be sorry! I don't think they are saying where they are searching.

They cant be that confidential though because the press always seems to find out if they have been called.

I totally agree with you. I would be shocked if CPS was contacted. There is nothing in this family's background that shows they are neglectful or abusive parents.

In fact they seem to be very involved parents who took care of their children very well.

Never stated.

Makes me think of that car that doesn't run in the driveway and the items they removed from it. Did the dog track her to the driveway and then lost the scent?

My speculation only, but I think it was the cadaver dog that got the hit.

Only thing I've heard about is DUI stuff in the past...one child endangerment for BC along with the DUI. But nothing at all in the present...MOO

I think they brought a scent dog that tracks/trails unfamiliar scents. Like the bloodhounds we see that LE uses to trackdown perps who have invaded homes or committed armed robberies.....etc.

LE has to have probable cause to get a SW to search neighbors homes so I wondered if the scent may have gone from the home and close to some of the other homes in the neighborhood and then was lost which could mean the perp got into his vehicle somewhere not too far from the Celis home.
