If one of the parents had a breakdown, even threatened suicide, why would CPS issue a "no contact" order? I can see the parent being involuntarily committed, but then they would be in a hospital and the boys could at least talk on the phone, text or write to their parent once they were stable. No contact means just that, NO CONTACT. I wouldn't think a court would issue that kind of order unless there was a clear and present danger to the boys.

It's not supervised visitation either....it's NO CONTACT.

Something big is up here.

And I am going to say this, after seeing what Powell did in the end, I am glad LE and CPS are doing something here if these boys are in danger.

When I've heard about CPS's involvement with psych patients' children, it is only required that the mentally ill parent not be left alone with the children.

In domestic violence cases, CPS always tells the non-violent parent that if they do not kick out the violent parent (or move out from living with the violent parent), their children will be immediately removed from their custody.

YES IT DID PASSION! Thank you for bringing up a case where we've seen this happen.. I was just blank.. still am drawing a blank on just wth is going on in this case ..am just very worried..

As we all know in Kyrons sad case that ZERO CONTACT ORDER is still in place against Terri Horman seeing her daughter and its coming UP ON TWO FULL YEARS AS WELL IS THE FACT THAT OUR LITTLE KYRON IS STILL NOT FOUND! ..Lord please don't let this case in any way mimic little precious Kyron's case...

Also take in to consideration if this were something serious that pointed to involvement in her disappearance they cops would NOT involve civilians from CPS they would immediately move and detain someone, this tells me it is more likely they are succumbing to the pressure and stress and having marriage problems perhaps one of them has some anger management issues and needs to be removed to calm down and get their head together.

I think that is very logical thinking.

Things this traumatic are very hard on couples........even those who love each other very much. The stress has to be unbelievable and like I commented earlier I think Sergio is the more emotional of the two and maybe not as strong as Becky.

Domestic violence is #1 with CPS telling a violent parent that he/she must move out immediately or both parents will lose custody of their children.

Again, a restraining order had to be issued first, though, right? In her case? We haven't heard of that being done here.

I haven't been here in this forum too much as of late but I have thought since I first saw the parents speak, something was up with the father... I saw shades of Susan Smith as he spoke in that first interview....JMHO

I think Sergio in his despair may have rubbed many people the wrong way because he is a theatrical personality. In general most people have encountered someone becoming theatrical over something at some point in their lives, and that usually wasn't a pleasant experience, and then when seeing Sergio that unpleasant feeling sort of comes back and reflects onto a feeling towards him while in fact it has nothing to do with him because he just is the way he is.
IMO that is the same reason why some people now may think he probably is the one not allowed to see the older children, he probably did have a mental breakdown, that would be more in line with his personality then with his wife's. Just imo.

Is it SOP not to release info about which parent - after releasing this kind of info? Seems very strange to me that they are refusing to identify which parent has custody and which parent is being denied contact. Almost makes me think it is the opposite of what we all assume (sorry Pax!) and that it just may be BC being denied contact.

Returning to the odd question in the first day about whether this could be a custodial issue, here is a possible idea... If there is a domestic violence issue in the home, could it be that one parent has hidden Isabel for her own safety away from the other parent? Is it possible that rumors were afloat early on about an impending breakup of the marriage, or a domestic violence issue?

Sadly, you are right. Sky, Lisa, Kyron, and others. Yes, I know no one has been charged in those cases but I think many feel that the mom did it in all of them.

Has anyone seen this No Contact reported by any source *except* KVOA? I may be blind, but I'm not seeing it. And that could make a world of difference.
