I know, but it seems to have taken on a life of its own, as things often do...if someone just checks in here and doesn't read back, they may think this has been established.

I think it is a highly unlikely scenario, personally, as the last thing that should be done is remove all sources of contact with someone who is going thru an emotional crisis due to a tragedy...

JMO

Me too. There is a lot of room between 'custody' and 'no contact'.
It almost makes me wonder of one parent is a POI, and that parent knows it, and knows LE is onto them, and LE is trying to avoid another tragedy.

Pages back a poster asked where I was since he/she "thought" I worked with CPS. I did work for CPS in Santa Fe, NM. I QUIT after many years and ONE case too many.

I DO not understand how the AZ CPS had the authority to separate the mom/dad from their minor remaining children. I never had that authority. I could and did put minor children in foster care until a hearing, but I never could just say .... Mom or dad gets the kids. Different jurisdiction, so please understand that. AZ is not NM.

My office was called in for a missing person/young boy missing case. I got assigned to see what's what. After I read the police report (I was never privi to LE investigation as what seems to be the case here with our little Isa). I interviewed the parents (they were never on the radar of LE ... as I found out later). I was went toe to toe with "an" LE person and almost went to fist city with that same "LE person". I was asked to "do" something that was not illegal, but it was immoral IMO. Thankfully, my supervisor backed me up and CPS bowed out since we should have NEVER been called in the first place. IMO.

The sweet little boy has never been found. It was when I was speaking with the mom and she spoke about her son in the past tense. I did ask her if she thought he was dead = past tense. That's when she said "NO". The mom said: I cannot see him, I cannot smell him, I cannot touch him, I don't do his laundry or make his favorite meals, I don't take him to school, I cannot hear the racket he makes (she said this with a smile on her face, but tears in her eyes). He's just GONE. I understood what she meant.

I stood and watched as their entire yard was dug up because "someone" said she/he saw them digging ... tip called in. The mom/dad said it was because their dog died and they buried him/her. The only thing found were their pets buried in their yard. :(

Here's the case. Can't say anymore other than the mom has lost most of her family since her little boy went missing. :(

Long read ^^^. HAS nothing to do with our Isa. Sorry for the O/T.

LE have found a body near ranch west of Tucon. They are saying looks a few month old and not saying anything else like m or f or anything like that. That is odd as they alway's state appears to be M or F. hmm

Cant always tell the gender of a decomposed body but surely they would be able to state whether it is a CHILD or not.

In the state of PA, if an adult is accused of domestic violence, CPS gives two choices:
1. non-offending parent can keep the children at home, BUT the offending parent must move out immediately. In 72 hours (weekends don't count as hours), there is a hearing in family court. Dad could be granted supervised visits at this time or the judge could even throw out this CPS case depending on CPS's evidence. Dad will not be allowed to speak at this hearing. This hearing ONLY allows CPS to present their case.
2. The parents can turn their children over to CPS which = foster care if a suitable relative is not immediately identified.

CPS can't force the offending parent to move out, but they can take their kids (with an emergency court order) if the offender doesn't move out/end immediate contact. The parents make the choice. To keep the children from ending up in temporary foster care, the offending parent almost always moves out.

Okay.... So... a few spin questions arise here from statements and postures ;

1. LE has been very fragile in what and how they say things in PC statements, they have the posture of confidence in the case, they do not come across as lost. They seem as if they are knowing more than they present. Very careful in thier wording, they advise against aiding in search efforts and state that they are still hopeful of Isabel's safe return. They say they are not focusing on any one angle and working multiple different angle's in the investigation.
2. RC seems to be holding up fairly well, as if she has some sense of a secured feeling over the situation. Her deminor when she was with SC (imo) was that of omg, your so full of crap sergio, the crap that comes out of your mouth and omg your a emotional play is embarrasing. <just my opinion> she seemed to exhibt a form of careful wording in his presence as if afraid to say certain things in front of him. Her eye movement in the interveiws were much to say she was searching for the word formulation. Not so much like she was trying to fabricate something but to be careful what she said. While at the same time she also showed signs that she knew something but wouldn't say it.
3. SC has appeared as if he was playing up to the audience and displaying controlled emotional response. He had the type of deminor you would see in a man who was begging for his wifes forgiveness after being caught in wrong doing (ie baby please give me another chance ) his shaking his head back and forth when he speaks as if he is in disagreance with his statements. He has a look in his eyes as if he is trying to sell you a used car thats been in a few accidents but has been repaired very well. He holds close to RC like someone would when they are 'puppeting' ie trying to make sure someone does not say the wrong thing.

Something big will come about soon in this case and for the sake of Isabel, I'm thinking it will be positive, I strongly feel she is safe, she is in a positive situation <maybe not where she should be with mom> but she is somewhere safe. IMO I just feel at this point there is some form of a handle on the situation and there will be some form of a happy ending.

One would logically think this, but the last body that was found in Texas that many assumed was a child (Haley Dunn) bizarrely turned out to be an old man.

I am still trying to come up with some kind of scenario that would reasosnably explain an emergency no contact order with nothing else to accompany it. For example, if the parent were suicidal, one would not see a no-contact order, one would see that suicidal individual hauled off to the hospital.

The only thing that comes to mind is some kind of credible threat of violence that, due to the nature of this case, the police and CPS are taking very seriously while they finalize things on their end prior to an arrest. For example, if one parent rolled over on the other I could imagine the police and CPS issuing such an order while they wait on a grand jury or the DA's office to approve charges.

However, I am pretty much just spitballing here as I really don't know.

My gut is telling me that charges are going to be filed here very soon, perhaps tomorrow.

Just a guess, my opinion, and it probably means nothing.
I was just wondering if she may have rolled over on him myself this would make sense to get him away from them it would seem. In any case we are either going to see charges filed tomorrow or Sergio in court fighting this no contact, one way or another.

So weird that they didn't state whether it was an adult or child, given the high profile missing child case going on :banghead:

It will be interesting to see who this is, and if it is Isabel (I'd really hate that, but if she is dead there is a better chance of finding her killer).

Also, about the length of time. If the body is out in a ranch, I'm guessing there are vultures out there. Read an article lately that vultures can make a body look like its been there for months, when its really been there for weeks.

I agree...I have not heard LE say any more or any less than they always say when a child is missing...they will never say they believe she is deceased unless they have a crime scene. LE has not said that about Lisa Irwin, even with a dog hit, so that is not enough to do it. It is the old cliche with LE, "we have no evidence to show she is NOT alive." Same thing they are saying with Sierra as they scour every body of water in the area...
JMO

Exactly! It's the same in just about every case. I don't know why the expectation would change. One can comb through hundreds of cases and see the same progression.

- Someone goes missing
- LE starts investigating
- LE says the same things they always say, which doesn't actually give any real details.
- People make up their own facts or read something and twist it.
- The theories and speculation get ever more wild.
- Lather, rinse, repeat.

And in the end...LE has still not disclosed the details of their investigation. They never have and they likely never will. Not until a trial.

But that won't stop the expectation that in the next case police will surely spill the beans.

Not really. The only people who said it was a child was media spin and that goof ball (IMO) Justice of the Peace that used to be a Rodeo Clown. JMO.

KGUN news at 10 is on and they are interviewing Becky, she has the kids with her and I must say she is one cool cucumber for everything that is going on in her life, it really seems to me that she somehow knows that Isa is alive and will be home soon, I wonder if she did in fact roll over on Sergio now.

SHE SEEMS A LOT MORE LOOSE AND RELAXED today away from his presence, she does NOT SEEM COLD AND DISTANT in this interview.

I've never heard of anything like this ever happening with a missing child, it hasn't has it? Have they ever found a missing child and not said so right away??

Not to my knowledge.

Guys, this is HUGE news. What is going on with scanner chatter? It may be totally unrelated but child goes missing from Tuscon and a body is found near Tuscon so even though people die every day, this is a big deal.

I wonder if Sergio is also barred from coaching little league?

Excellent question...MOO However, LE said that the no contact order came about because of something they learned during the investigation which caused the to be concerned for the two Celis kids' safety...MOO

So, not sure how that would stop him from coaching, but who knows ? Probably we'll know much more tomorrow...MOO

... really don't think related, decomp suggests remains were there several month's and if body was recognisable LE would have said as much. Whilst AZ is hot it's also dry and the rate of decomp might be slightly higher but an ME knows what there are looking at to be able to say 'several months'
