I think the case may have very well been related to the prior Celis home...but I did not pursue the trail... as it seemed... well ...boring and unrelated.. so JMO and ICBW

That's the NG map, but it looks fairly accurate, and I actually found this video clip through Moore's website. Mr. Moore approves. On the video he explains exactly what his cameras can see.. he also corrects NG when she states that his cameras can see the Celis home.
The video also shows the actual views from the Moore cameras in the back of the store.

Anyway, I posted the map to show the OM camera and where it is usually pointed. I posted in clarification of my late night post I believe you were there for lol --just throwing out a possible scenario about cameras and why they did not capture this crime!

Okay. Gotcha. I still think the NG map depiction is misleading.

I have been in relationships with controlling and/or abusive men. NOBODY outside our house knew. Everyone who knew any of these guys thought they were terrific, and I got a lot of grief for ending relationships with these "wonderful" guys. On the few occasions I tried to explain, I was accused of exaggerating, since the guy seemed great and had no legal history of violence. I learned he had threatened to cut his 7 y.o. brothers head off witha scythe when he was 14, and had hit an ex-GF hard enough to detach her retina. Nobody filed charges.

Sounds like our exes could have been twins.

Out of fear of him I kept his abuse a secret although I think some just chose to turn a blind eye and not get involved. They had to know the bruises I had were awfully suspicious even though I made up the typical excuses everytime that I was a klutz and had had an accident of some sort.

But for the most part everyone thought I was so lucky to have such a successful handsome hubby who was romantic and sexy and always showering me with expensive gifts and attention.

They acted like they were totally shocked when he about killed me and put a blood clot on my brain and I was in the hospital for 3 weeks. But they all knew he was insanely jealous because even our best male friends tip toed around making sure they didnt do something where he would read the wrong thing into it.

Thank goodness those days are long over and I have been married 29 years to the most wonderful husband a woman can ever dream about having.

I like Nancy too!! I love her passion and the way she doesn't take any carp from anyone! She puts them in their place that's for sure. LOL

Try Efren(with an e) instead of Efron. I did the same thing the first time I tried it. Got a bunch of links to Zac Efron.

If I am reading this right below, there does appear to be a "counter claim", and if so, that indicates that they may have contested what was being charged. But since it was way back in 2003, I just don't think they would still be feuding. Also, if insurance is involved, the counter claim could have been forced by insurance. I doubt this particular case has any direct connection, however, the nature of the case could provide some information as to the dynamics of things.

I know a single dad who is extremely rough on his sons. He occasionally twists or wrenches their arms, puts a hand around their throat or grabs their shirt front and lifts them up onto their toes to yell at them, punches them in the chest hard enough to knock the wind out of them. He is a short man, but has a HUGE upper body, very muscular from physical labor. The children are 67 and 81 pounds each. He calls them names, calls their mother and grandmother names, and is just MEAN to them. He will do these things in public, which surprised me. I have called the kids' schools and CPS numerous times and nobody DOES anything. And I know others have called about things that I have not seen myself. CPS told me they would be making contact with him, Instead they called the school, the boys were questioned, and both said he did not abuse them. Either they are afraid to tell or they are ashamed that they were bad enough to make him hit them (they are typical kids, but Dad doesn't have regular "discipline" and usually plays along with them. But all of a sudden he will get mad over some stupid little thing and lose his *****.

I am at a loss as to how to get something done. I did tell him that next time I see it I am calling 911, not social services.

BBM- the bars here in Tucson are allowed to be serving alcohol until 2 am every night of the week..liquor sales can begin again at 6 am

Same here... but a lot of places close up earlier (12ish) during the week because they would lose money staying open later.

I don't think it was one person, NG is a topic that tends to grow legs here very quickly. I just know that it is one that mods will note in a hurry...JMO
