Yes, but if those shorts and tank were what she wore to the ball park that night (and we don't know for sure because we haven't seen any images), and then she went home and showered, would she have put back on the clothes she wore to the ball park?

IDK, but my DD gets filthy horsing around at the little league field, even when her team isn't playing.

I'm generally pretty tolerant of people mispronouncing words. I'm sure I do plenty of it myself.

But every time NG mispronounces "bombfizzle" as "bombshell" it just grates on me.

LoL ::bombFizzle I agree. I know noone has confirmed the " writing on the wall" business. But I do have a question. Is Isabel in K or Gr 1? neither grades are very prolific or proficient writing ages.

:waitasec:

Even though when Picasso drew on the walls they enrolled him in Art classes.

IIRC, the shorts were described as basketball shorts.

IMO, children sleep in their favorite attire.

In my mind, basketball shorts are short, like in the short PJ sets. However, in this era, basketball shorts are longer in length.

So, for me, I am not sure if they are describing "basketball" shorts as the shorter bottom, or the longer length.

I posted a similar thought the other day and was told by some WS members who live in hot climate States that it is not unusual to wear shorts and tank top to bed.I agree with you. If the brother mentioned pajamas, I'm guessing he has seen her wearing pj's in the past. Perhaps the basketball shorts and top were her pj's? IDK

BBM. Yes, that's true. It's 75 degrees right now here in Tucson @ 5:24 am. Neither one of my kids will wear pajamas because it's just uncomfortable.

In Isa's case, keep in mind that she did not play in the game that night--her game was the next morning. So, if she's just observing, she may not have gotten too dirty. Sergio may not have meant "we all took showers" literally. Still, I have a hard time believing that she would have went to bed in the clothes she wore to the game.

As far as the brother and the pajamas comment, its possible he calls her clothes pajamas because most people consider what you wear at bedtime pajamas, even if they aren't technically pajamas.

When I was ~7, I went to sleep in my communion dress as I was so excited to have such a beautiful dress. Of course, my mother was not happy.

Re: laughing during 911 calls

Some people laugh during times of stress, and they are innocent of committing crimes. I'm not suggesting innocence in this case, because I don't know enough about it, but as someone who has, at times, laughed at times that others may deem "inappropriate", I just wanted to throw that out there. For me (as well as others, I'm sure) it is a coping mechanism when dealing with extremely difficult situations. I feel like a complete idiot when I do it, but the laugh just slips out before I know it.

I hear NO Stress in SC's voice at all.
Nothing frantic either.

I know about the giggle ya have when your scared thati understand but baker
and sergio just sound like nothings wrong she will walk in any momen and i told wife to get her butt home.....No respect and no panic what a MAN!

I do not like the guy!

Right nowadays the kitchen isn't used, last month in OK one exploded in a mans pants during a scuffle with police.

IDK, I looked at those citation codes again and still don't see any Meth connection.

I am sooo sorry to everyone...but, that comment with the mans pants has me laughing so hard I'm snorting over here...maybe too early and not enough coffee.

LOL My sister hated getting up for school and to get extra zzzzzzz's she would sleep in her uniform..... shoes and all.

I dont think this is the case here.

But if ya notice they never post a pic of what it looks like!

I understand what you're saying....as I said, I'm not saying he's innocent of anything (not saying he's guilty, either), but the laughing during the 911 call keeps getting brought up (and in this case, it may be a legitimate cause for alarm). I was just pointing out that some people (myself included) have been known to laugh at things that aren't funny, due to stress. (Just providing another perspective).

Good morning!

I haven't caught up this morning yet, so this may be out of place, but I heard this morning on the Today Show, that although the Celis were cooperating with LE, SC answers have been inconsistent. I didn't know if this has ever been stated before in MSM? Anyone else heard this before, or this morning?

PS. did anything happen overnight? (I know TPD seems to like to leak info. later in the evenings in this case).

That 911 call was just hinky.

But I think the thing many of us are having a problem with is his calmness in the 911 call and then his over-dramatic interviews. It's like Jekyl and Hyde.

Local color here.. of no significant importance. Was at dinner at my Dad's house tonight with two of his former LE friends here in Tucson. I wasn't even in the room when the conversation arose and did not provide any input. Theory from these two? Abduction due to cartel/debt.

Granted, they are retired LE. But that seems to be a pervasive theory at least amongst those I encounter.

I wonder if that idea is just being assumed because of drug/cartel problems in AZ and because the Celis family is hispanic?

Do those who are connected to drug cartels usually go to church, coach Little League, and sing in the local Opera and hold down good jobs?

And the only drugs I have seen mentioned in Sergio's criminal record is pot isnt it? Cant people get pot from others street dealers other than drug cartels?

If Sergio knew the drug cartel was after him why would he take his three children to a ballpark where the entire family could be seen?

Im not being snarky. I really dont know the answers to these questions.

IMO

Something dawned on me this morning. And, now it seems so obvious. Some of our posters here are firmly rooted in the belief that Sergio is innocent. One of those reasons that make up this belief could be: If he is involved, why wait until morning (6:30 am) to be talking outside or (possibly) removing the screen from the window. It would be too risky to be moving around in broad daylight when so many people are awake.

But, this then thought occurred to me. What if something happened to Isa during the night.. Speculation here could be anything from sexual abuse to punishment- and she later died from those injuries in the wee hours of the morning?

Sergio could then go in to wake her up and Uh-Oh, now what. He would have no alternative other than to dump the body, provide cover up and quick clean. This would also explain why he states he went in to wake her at 8 am instead of an earlier time. IIRC, her Little League game started at 8 so under normal circumstances, he would have gone in her room at a much earlier time.

The only time I saw that the stories were inconsistent was a blurb at the bottom of the screen two days ago when NG covered Isa.

However, it wouldn't surprise me.

Just adding this to my post above.

Rebeccas Celis said, "Everything is Isabel so it's hard to want to walk in there and see all her stuff. Isa had toys she was playing with around the house." Sergio Celis added: "Writing on the wall, the crayon, the words, everything, her pictures, everything on the fridge, absolutely everywhere you look in the house she is there."
http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...ocal/150254045.html+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

See, and this is why I am confused. If it were me I would want to be where her things were, where she last was. When my son went missing at DisneyWorld, they had to drag me kicking and screaming to the park office, because I wanted to be where I last saw him. I still do not understand why they have not gone back to that house. At least BC and the boys anyways.

Also, about speaking to the media still. We haven't heard anything out of them anymore. Again, this is just me - but if there was only one story out there of a child that was returned by the public pleas of the parents, that would be enough for me to do it. One story would give me enough hope to at least try! But, again this is only me and MOO.
