G'night all. Wish Isa would return with the sunlight in the morning. :offtobed: Keep a light on for her. :candle:

I need to say g'night to all...
I normally have a good hunch early... on that usually rings true. Not this time. I have been teeter-tottering so much! Three weeks ago I finally allowed my dh to get that puppy he hasbeen hounding me for...i thought it would be good to scare off strangers and boogie men. Then I stayed up late one night researching f&f connections...then back to stranger, family, drugs, stranger again, cartel...etc.

But tonight I am going to bed with a pukey sick rising in the back of my throat. I have avoided thinking this because I wanted to give bod and dont really want to believe that kind of sickness even exists.

Well, my guess is that JM has not left town with funds and testing due, but I could be wrong...
The reason for these questions about where he is that he was only on the news one day?

:waitasec:

IDK
I still don't see any type of evidence that points his direction

Didn't the neighbor say that he knocked on her door at 8:00 looking for Isa? I think that initially made people question how he got there so quickly. I'm not sure if she ever retracted that statement.

The Los Zetas are not Colombian. They are Sinoloa-based (state in Mexico). As is/was the Gulf cartel and numerous others. These are the cartels who benefited from the fiasco called Fast and Furious.

ETA: but yes, you are correct. If we were talking about a missing child in Chinatown, NYC, we'd inevitably be discussing the Chinese gangs.

Not necessarily true on the NYC statement, I was and still an in total shock of the news here in my little part of the US, completetly on the East coast, especially since Im just learning here of these cartels.
Heres the news article. I really wish they would stay in AZ, makes me SKEERED :maddening::maddening:

JM is a complex charecter with and on again off again love hate relationship with the TPD and DPS (department of public safety which in most places is called the state highway patrol but not in AZ ) He drives around with his license suspended ( which it is right now ) he is involved in drugs and just all around not Jim Neighbors. Something could be related to him in this case or he could be the cause of this situation because perhaps it was assumed by the people he has dealings with that this was his house and those were his kids. Your dope dealer might find out where you live or go but they don't exactly know your family history or whatever.

IDK, I always thought if a person had a court date they show up or an Attorney does so. I had no idea the system is automated. Learn something new everyday here.

ITS NOT A COURT DATE its just a memo on the case file that he was due for his UA .. I only know what it is because my wife works for the court system and I have worked with narcotics taskforce.

OT, this is kind of ridiculous, but I was telling my husband something tonight about coffee, of all things, why I had to go out at night to Dunkin Donuts to buy coffee grounds, since I am addicted to it, and then finished with "well, it is just my opinion." And worse, I almost just said "JMO."

She told NG that LE told her the person who knocked on her door at 8 am was an uncle.

She never ID'd JM as the person knocking on her door.

Early on we had JM called uncle on a first day interview. He said he came over as soon as he heard. People assumed that was in the morning, but he did not say what time. He had two interviews. One in the afternoon, and one at dusk. Here's the one at dusk. http://www.kgun9.com/news/local/148384415.html

When the neighbor said "uncle" people just assumed she was talking about JM as that was the only uncle they had heard of at that point.

IMO If it was JM at her door, she would have said, that same uncle on the news knocked on my door.
She never even gave a description.
How can we assume it was JM?
Isa has real uncles who live close by.

JM is not an uncle, and while he might have said that to a reporter, I just doubt he told LE he was her uncle.

I do not doubt you JQP...I said I was learning here. That being said, court appointments/memos by automation is a bit disturbing...to me. jmo

I'm trying to type and keep up at the same time and it's nearly impossible. Forgive me if I've missed something. I know I'm referencing a post from a few pages ago.

A recent post from Gliving referenced an Arizona Daily star article where Sgt. Hawke discussed previous TPD calls.

Hawke said "They're very minimal. When I do a check of the residence, there virtually is no contact there prior to most recently"

http://azstarnet.com/news/local/crim...3ea7b14ee.html

This may not be a "dead horse" since there are so many earlier posts on whether LE has really said that the prior CPS visit was MINOR.

When I listened to last Thursday's media briefing (MAY 17), I thought that the discussion of the previous calls to the Celis home could lead to confusion. Hawke was actually asked several different questions (some about CPS and some about TPD visits).

This is from memory and I'm paraphrasing but it is supported by the Star article. (Is it OK to paraphrase, if I refer to the statements in a specific press briefing?) I'm looking for a FULL transcript and link for that briefing, maybe you already have it.

From what I remember, when asked about the December CPS call, Hawke admitted that they knew about it and gave the regular TPD response about not commenting on CPS cases. Then she referred the questioner to the CPS spokesperson. As usual, she wouldn't give any additional information on the CPS involvement and that was the end of the CPS answers.

Later in the briefing, I believe she was asked about previous TPD calls to the house and she admitted that there had been calls in the past. The questioner tried to find out when. She said she didn't even know if the Celis family lived there then. The questioner said Celis had owned home for 5 years, and tried to find out the specific time frame of the calls. She didn't give a direct answer.

Then to end that line of questioning, I think she basically summarized by saying that the calls were MINOR and minimal in nature . She appeared to be talking only about the TPD calls, she had already said she would NOT comment on CPS calls. The TPD calls could even be referring to the dog citations and therefore would not involve Isa.

If I understood correctly, she said no comment on CPS calls and that the TPD calls were Minor (minimal). Soon after this briefing, media and commentors were saying that LE had said that the December CPS call was MINOR.

Since LE has been so careful to parse their words in this case, it doesn't seem likely that they told certain media sources that the CPS call was MINOR after the briefing. They have steadfastly refused to comment on any CPS matter in the past.

IMO, the media listened to the briefing, didn't distinguish between CPS and TPD calls, and then ran with the story.

Can anyone help me find either the full video or full transcript of the 5/17 briefing? I'm trying to refresh my memory. I thought a full transcript would be easy to find.

Several here have used the Today show as the source for the report that the prior CPS call was minor. I usually go to KVOA for video of past press briefings, but the now the 5/17 video has been shortened to include only the explanation of abduction, not the question/answer portion.

If the calls that were "MINOR and NOT involving Isabel" really referred to TPD calls and not CPS, then I think we're basing opinions on mistaken reporting. And we're back to knowing nothing about the extent of previous or current CPS involvement. (which I think is the way LE and CPS want it left for now.)

Thank you! So the "calls" were TPD being called to the house, NOT CPS? Or at least we think so, lol?

I have misunderstood this whole issue and thought she was referring to CPS involvement.

Makes a bit more sense now!

lol think thats scary, take a look at Service Arizona sometime.... all the crap you can do with the DMV online ... Literally you can jot down the neighbors vin number and sell it to yourself and get your temp tags all online then go bust his locks out of the door and rekey the car All without stepping foot in the DMV. But the Automated UA system is used in many states, Could you imagine being a court clerk calling 1.5 million people in the state everyday telling them it is thier turn to go pee. It's just not practical, your a drug user, your told a day and a color, you should be responsible enough to make a phone call once a week and see if your lotto color comes up and if you dont remember to call the system then its your fault and a FTA warrant is then issued. AZ is also one of very few states that puts your life history of court records online for the world to see which I myself find rather intrusive.

Is it illegal to leave a 14 yr old in charge of a 10 and 6 yr old sibling? I used to PAY my 14 yr old to babysit when we went out.

Lol, I think in some states, it is!

I used to get paid to babysit neighborhood kids when I was 11!!!!!

My Knotling is ten and NO WAY would I leave her alone, much less in charge of other kids. But she is not the same 10 year old I was.

I had alot more responsibility and maturity....it depends on the kid, I guess, and what the parents decide.....except apparently there are laws because we can't be trusted to assess our own kids and make a decision. Ack!

So do I have this right??

CPS visited the house at least once in December of last year.

Police have been called to the house more than once for minor issues.

Isabel has been abducted from the home.

Sergio has agreed to no contact with his other children at the request of CPS.

Seems like a lot of things going on to me. JMHO.

Gotcha! Thanks.

So there WERE CPS calls prior to May, however there were also TPD calls and those are the calls being described as "minor"?

Oh Lord, do I have it now? Help me, Oprah!

Just another Quick note about AZ people fail to realize... since AZ puts all this information online with public access such as court records, civil court records, property statements, service AZ access, DMV lookup and open access records departments... Arizona has the HIGHEST rate of Identity Theft in the Nation because the state makes it way to easy to hunt down verify information.

I agree...I know times have changed but I don't know anyone who has police called to their house and a visit(s) from CPS...
