A 73 page thread....omg, how will I find a link to the LE briefing today? Or maybe I won't bother since it appears from comments on the past 2 threads that it's same old same old...

I wish video/press links were put in a separate thread and this case had its own heading with sub-threads. Oye.

http://www.kgun9.com/news/local/152333585.html

There ya go! It really wasn't the same ol. There were a few new tidbits there. But it all made me very sad.

I wish we could ban the "damned if they do and damned if they don't" cliche from this case, it's such a cop-out.

Especially since, IMO, this shouldn't be about how they are perceived, but about keeping Isa's case visible and in the public eye.

The vigil wasn't about Isa, it was about Sergio. That is just disgusting. Of course, IMO, they already know Isa isn't coming home and they also know why.

If my child were missing, I could give a flying duck if I got 'heckled' or if someone asked pointed questions or pointed out my inconsistencies. I'd be out there every day, keeping the case alive!!!!!!!

Jeebus! SC and RC are adults and they need to suck it up and quit the pity party. This should be about finding their daughter and if they were innocent, it would be. IMO they are responsible for what happened to Isa and LE knows it.

I hope LE can make their arrests and at least give Isa that much. I am tired of pussy-footing around it; this case stinks to high heaven and it's coming from SC and RC.

JMO.

Well, I do agree with you on the point that the family is still being investigated, but I also don't feel very good now that I know that a Level 3 sex offender is living 4 houses up from her on the same street. Literally two houses up from that breezeway.

While I believe that SO's have a high rate of recidivism, I don't recall too many cases where the perp has been actually caught previously as a sex offender (the Chandler Rapist case I reference earlier), and in the cases where it does involve a RSO, they usually aren't at the address they are supposed to be living at (John Couey was staying at his sister's house that he was not registered at when he kidnapped, raped, and buried Jessica Lunsford alive).

I'm still placing my bets on someone who has never been caught in a sexual offense, someone who may have a low level sex offense (indecent exposure), and has a connection to or an association with someone connected to Isa's family. Someone who either works in the area or has strong ties to the area.

If she feels in her heart that Sergio is not involved in Isa's disappearance, I dont blame her one bit for coming out and defending him. She knows him better than anyone. I sure would do the same for my husband because I know he would never harm anyone.

She did mention Isa and is praying for her safe return.

IMO

Oh. She 'mentioned' Isabel?

Well, then. Never mind.

She is apparently doing everything she can. :(

Investigators will return to Isabel Celis' neighborhood this evening. I'm live @kgun9 at 5 to explain what they're looking for

I'll check Kgun to see if there's some more about this.

Bringing a post here from thread nr 14, this was said by LE a week ago:

-bolded by me-

The above contradicts today's presser, imo.
Not necessarily. Today's presser talked to going back over things they'd gone over before. If they were thinking that in future they'd have to potentially prosecute a case without a body because they think they know what happened to Isa but don't have her body as 'proof', they'd want to ensure they fully covered all other potential outcomes...even going back over and over scenarios/perps who were non-family (i.e., in Kyron Horman's case, it's been speculated/inferred that LE 'knows' what happened and might have to eventually go to court without a body and they meticulously went over *all possibilities* several times and even weeks/months later to prove they'd fully investigated all possibilities).

I *hope* they are are not at this point, where (like Kyron, Susan Powell) they "know" what happened but can't prove in a court of law to the prosecutor's satisfaction. But the going back over people they have investigated coupled with the above quote that they think they are pretty sure about what happened but need that one clue (usually a body) to 'tie' it together is worrisome.

I agree with this assesment.

Oh yes indeedy, I am well aware of the difference. I got into this rodeo that I lead because of the Dru Sjodin case in Grandforks, ND in 2003. She was taken by a level three sex offender and they located her body in a washed out area near a corn field, the next year after the snow had melted. I should say more like a culvert.

O/T I was just in Pequot Lakes, MN, Dru's hometown (also my parents' hometown). I could just picture that lovely girl sauntering down the main street of Pequot. I said a prayer of comfort for Dru's family.

I agree that it is completely possible and even likely that LE is doing exactly what they are saying they doing, checking and re-checking, and hoping that Isabel is found in the meantime, but also that they have a direction and something of a case but not enough to go forward at this time. I do feel it is very possible that no one will ever be charged, however, if she is not found. JMO

I see 37 of 37 at the bottom of the page

Wow, at the time you said that, mine said 73 of 73, so wonder what you've missing or are missing that's just weird.

I alerted a mod to start a new thread, hope that helps.

Mine says 37, but I am using tapatalk and have my posts set at 50 per page, I think.

One thing that REALLY EATS MY ARSE in this case is Arizona's LE POLITICS. They say that they are not focused on any one person but what's the truth in that, They say they have an idea of what happened but do they. They only know ONE thing and that is that there was a child abducted, they know what the possibilities are of how ONLY because there are only so many combinations by which a person can be abducted, do they know which method is at play here... NO not IMO, they only see what is right in front of them and since they can't see anything but RSO's and parents they have not a clue any other direction to look. Why can't they be more forthcoming and say at least what generality of something that they do know, IMO they don't know thier head from thier 🤬🤬🤬 and don't want to portray that to the general public. Time and time again I have seen them make a mole hill out of a mountian or a mountain out of a mole hill in AZ. If you need them they are not there and when you don't need them they are up your 🤬🤬🤬 without a cause. What a shame, I feel very sorry for little Isabel SHE is the victim here. Another thing about this case that REALLY affects me in this case is I am a body guard for a 8 yo that looks very very similar to Isabel. She is the daughter of a Celeb Pastor. Ever since this Isa incident it has made me take my job alot more seriously, I have found myself literally freaking out if I loose sight of her at an event as sometimes she plays hide and seek with the protection detail, we have two jobs durring a service one is to ensure safety for our pastor while he is on stage by watching the crowd for guns and other red flags, Second is keeping an eye on his daughter. We need to do these things while being close enough to prevent a situation yet distant enough to provide them with a sense on independence. (kind of like the secret service) but ANYWAY this case is really starting to upset me, I could only imagine what this family is going through... I know one thing is for sure If anything every happened to the little girl I protect I wouldn't stop looking for her until G-d himself stopped me from looking by removing me from the earth.

Well it's 73 pages for me here too lol. Where are you seeing 37?

It just depends on your individual options, you can change how many posts per page you see and it changes the number of pages in a thread.
