just a point i would like to clarify...is there any MSM article claiming that it was the older son attending the vigil where SC was photographed behind the wall?

all i've found is that "one son" wanted to attend, whereby SC could not.

Rebecca Celis said her husband wanted to attend Friday's vigil, but was unable to since one of her sons wanted to be there.

every article says the same thing...yet some here claimed it was the older son that attended. i'm stipulating that it was the younger son, and the eldest is not in 'front of the cameras' for a reason.

i'm trying to clarify...because (willing to eat crow and be proven wrong), it's not a coincidence that the older son was the one brought back to the house for reenactment.

for those that accuse JM for dropping out of the limelight, perhaps we should consider others that have as well. and have proven (via 911 calls) he was there during the crime...

Which son was it that fell to the ground crying a couple of times as he went looking for her that morning? That is such a compelling image, and a very important one. It shows that the kid did not think his sister just went out early for a walk to her friends house. I thought it might have meant the son thought something bad happened with his father that night perhaps.

YES! How the money is used should be made available to the public.
I seriously believe there should be financial accountability to the public and laws just like with charities and businesses.

ITA. Alas! I have already looked into the funding for the "Bring Isabel Home" campaign that is under the auspices of the already-established Tucson Medical Center Foundation, so there was no need to apply for tax-exempt status for a charitable foundation.

that's just it, we don't know.

considering the youngest was in the garage waiting for BC according to SC's 911...and the oldest walked far enough from home that he had to be driven back to the house during the 911 call...logic tells us it was the eldest.

good question. but i have no idea...

It was the elder son, not the younger. He helped his mother hold up a sign.

This was reported by local media, and I'm off to search for that link.

That was the elder son. The younger son was never sent out to look for her that I am aware of.

Thank you. :)

That is what I said. "I think LE wants Isa's parents to come out and plead for Isa's return hoping to keep the tips coming in."

Although JohnQ and I were discussing coming out and revealing details about the case. I said I didnt think LE would ever want them to do that. The Sierra Lamar family has known certain things for awhile now but when asked about the details concerning the actual case or what they knew, Marlene wouldnt answer, and said she did not want to impede the investigation.

IMO

I agree with you.

I was listening to HLN on my car radio this morning and they were playing another "soldier returns home and surprises kids at school" videotape. Mike Gallanos, I believe, said something to the effect of, "I just love these emotional moments." I pondered that for a bit; when Mr. Richman was in the service and deployed, there is NO WAY we would have scheduled the press to be there for our reunion. Not that I see anything wrong with those who do; we are just more private, emotionally, than that.

In my opinion, the Celis family is like that. There are families who cry on the news, give the media what they want, "the emotional plea". However, I think RC and SC are just too emotionally private for that and it might seem contrived if they did do it on camera, just to satisfy our morbid need to see other people cry. And what else is there to talk about in an interview? 75% of the questions they can't answer, because it would inhibit the investigation. The other 25% are painful, "did you do it?" types that probably, in the Celis mindset, wouldn't help find Isabel.

I saw the older son at the vigil. However, that does not mean the younger son wasn't there, too.

the younger son spoke to emily collins at party city. imo you don't mistake a 7-8 year old for a 14 year old. IMO she was speaking of the younger, 10 year old...jmo...

My name is emily collins i was interviewed by neal,,,this is a very devastating story i really do hope she found ok the things i cant figure out is ive had numerous of customers come into my store stating they are the parents of the children that go to isabels school and they all were stating that isabel did not even show up at school friday and later that night she comes up missing?????... And why on earth...i undertand u are loking for her but dont just sent your 7-8 year old son by himself to ask around when u just had your daughter abducted ..I guess they just obvious wanted to know but why chance your other child ....
BBM

Since we know from LE confirmation that Isabel DID attend school on Friday, I'm wondering if Ms. Collins could be misconstruing other information. ETA I suppose the reason I think Ms. Collin's comment about the brother being 7-8 years old is hinky, is that it's not reported that way in the story. I'm not a reporter, but I think that might be an interesting fact to put in the story. Since "Neale" didn't add it, I'm wondering if it is a detail that she's coming up with after the fact. I *could* go to the Party City and ask her. ;)

I would LOVE to know if it's true that Isabel didn't go to school Friday. Who took care of her if she was absent from school? Was she sick? Did her parents have to call into the school to say she would be absent (I'm an old fogie . . don't know how that works nowadays!) Would really like to know the exact events of that fateful day. . . we have so many unknowns.

If Isabel had been sick, and had been up late, it does seem strange that her mom didn't check on her in the morning. Sorry, but I'm old-fashioned that way.

Somehow, Isbetl's words "I'm tired, Daddy" (hope that's the right quote, at least as SC said it). . .strike me as being so very sad. An odd thing for a child her age to say.

SC sent both boys out to look? Good grief, I know the older one was, he was on the phone with dispatch on a 911. SC said he thought his daughter was abducted, why would he send the boys, esp the little one around? There were adults helping look for her. Both boys were talking to a reporter together, but not sure at what point that was during the search or where they were.

LE says she was at school and that is good enough for me. Why in the world would they lie?

I think what is happening is that people who aren't really close to Isa or her family have latched onto this tragedy and feel that there were closer than they really were. KWIM?
So, a classmate of Isa's, could be anyone who attend her school, and they could be just relating what they hear or think they hear other's saying. It's like that game children play, The Chinese Whisper, where the teller whispers a statement into someone's ear and they pass the secret around the circle. By the time it gets around, the statement has completely changed.

BBM I TOTALLY agree! We played/play that game, but we call it "Operator". Yours sounds more mysterious, imo. :)

I don't see the parents as being private before this happened, they were very involved in their community in different areas, sports, church, theatre, choir, not sure what else. Why would they all of a sudden be private people? It's about Isa, not them. If SC can't speak to the media publicly now, because of the CPS agreement situation, well, for whatever the reason, he shouldn't be in this position.

Oh, I agree that they were social people, involved in a lot of activities. What I meant by "private", w.r., is in an emotional way. That they may not want to cry on t.v., pleading for their daughter's return. It's not only my opinion, that they would feel uncomfortable doing that. RC said herself, that they are "private" people and she understood that media was frustrated because "they weren't crying in front of them".

Just caught the tail end as I walked in the room that KOLD said TPD has released some documents. I'll try to find them or else I'll come back & apologize. Only heard TPD released documents & the news guy, Dan Marries, said they were going over them now.

550-600 pages!! Yes. Now to get a hold of them!!!
