Why? Why not just say "We love you, Isabel" and walk away? Or something??

I'm only guessing, but perhaps the reporters were asking them questions about the CPS situation and Isa wasn't mentioned. It would make sense that they declined to speak to the media on camera.

Just caught the tail end as I walked in the room that KOLD said TPD has released some documents. I'll try to find them or else I'll come back & apologize. Only heard TPD released documents & the news guy, Dan Marries, said they were going over them now.

550-600 pages!! Yes. Now to get a hold of them!!!

Someone shoot me if it's 550-600 pages of information about the square footage of the house! :banghead:<----NOT directed at any particular poster! lol

Oh, I agree that they were social people, involved in a lot of activities. What I meant by "private", w.r., is in an emotional way. That they may not want to cry on t.v., pleading for their daughter's return. It's not only my opinion, that they would feel uncomfortable doing that. RC said herself, that they are "private" people and she understood that media was frustrated because "they weren't crying in front of them".

I understand what you're saying. I just think if they can get out in front of hundreds at vigils and events where there's donations, they could go on the air and in the public more and talk about Isa. I have the greatest respect for Desiree Young and Diena Thompson, they didn't care what people thought of them. They were out there all the time, every chance they got to keep their kids' name and faces out in the public.

seriously....how does a napper clean up while carrying a child whom they have to keep quiet and still (unless she was drugged)....but still how does one clean up after themselves with other people in the house...youd think they want in and out super quick....

I understand what you're saying. I personally think they are going to stay away from situations on camera, when the reporter attempts to elicit tears and crying. I'd like to think that I would be able to be on camera, doing whatever it took to bring my child home. I know my husband would not be able to, though. People are different.

just a point i would like to clarify...is there any MSM article claiming that it was the older son attending the vigil where SC was photographed behind the wall?

all i've found is that "one son" wanted to attend, whereby SC could not.

every article says the same thing...yet some here claimed it was the older son that attended. i'm stipulating that it was the younger son, and the eldest is not in 'front of the cameras' for a reason.

i'm trying to clarify...because (willing to eat crow and be proven wrong), it's not a coincidence that the older son was the one brought back to the house for reenactment.

for those that accuse JM for dropping out of the limelight, perhaps we should consider others that have as well. and have proven (via 911 calls) he was there during the crime...

Marlene Lamar is not what I'd call media savvy. She seems like quite a private person...but she would go out and stand by the intersection where Sierra used to catch the school bus...hand out flyers,and beg anyone who remembered anything to call LE...

So glad they caught Sierra's killer..... JMO

I agree! Under intense scrutiny she put it aside and was out there for SIERRA! This isn't about BC or SC, it is about Isa and finding her, bringing her home. Suck it up! I know I woudl do anything for my children. I wouldn't care if my high school boyfriend said I was a floozy, if my hair looked like crap on TV, my butt looked too big . . . who cares!!! If LE is recommending we go out to do interviews, then just do it!
