We don't know if the window was Isabel's room. Not sure why NG is saying it is Isabel's room when that is not true. :banghead:

I haven't followed very closely

So it hasn't been confirmed the window tampered with was Isabel's?

Exactly! HOWEVER, this is only according to the police spokesperson.

Reported at 5:55 AM 4/23/12
Although the Police Chief Villasenor confirmed that a possibly broken or removed screen on the window in Isabel's bedroom is a point of entry they are seriously investigating but he stressed that it is not, "a definitive point of entry."

"NG - "screen torn from window". Very misleading statement.

This is awful especially when you can't say that LE is doing a good job! :(

:furious: Wasting time reprimanding the guests. WTH!!!!

I'm not watching but the whole window scenario brings back memories of Trenton Duckett.

Finally got a chance to get to a computer and look at where her house is located. Ugh. This is a seriously populated urban area.

So is the general feel that this is a true stranger abduction?

Not sure if that link holds, but when you google walk around the house there is a wall and fencing around the entire perimeter. Not that someone couldn't hop over it, but you would have to put Isabel over it too.

Do we know where exactly her bedroom is located?

I wondered about the fence. Then I thought that an abductor could scale the fence and then walk through the front door with her in arms.
I don't suppose we know if the windows or doors were locked when they went to bed, or got up in the morning.

Yes! There is a lot of traffic at all times of day and night. Because it's Tucson, there is also a lot of foot/bicycle traffic.

Did Nancy just ask Beth if they had an enclosed garage? Nancy is showing the garage in her photos attached to the house.

Parents did not want to do an interview with the media, I missed that in the 2:00 PM PC. I know there are divergent schools of thought on that choice, but personally I feel it's a good thing to do.

I always admire the parents that can get up in front of the cameras. If, God forbid, they were looking for any of my loved ones in the landfill, I wouldn't be able to put two words together.

It's going to be hard for Marc Klaas to comment on this case with the similarities.

And look at that big ugly parking lot for the big box stores delivery area. And lots of the warehouse workers in those stores work all night shifts.

My son used to work for Big Buy in college and he worked in the warehouse. They often went in at 2 am and unloaded shipments all night.

So there could have been various workers looking at that home all night every night.

I am kind of leaning towards the perp being a close family member or friend. NOT the parents or sibs, but maybe a cousin or uncle or in-law kind of thing.

Either that, or a coach or neighbor or stalker.

I wonder if any of those 17 RSO's is related to the family. It would make sense considering no one in the house heard a sound, apparently - not a scream or a struggle from Isa. It would be much easier for someone familiar to Isa to lure her outside.

it is my understanding from all early reports that the window with the removed screen is Isabel's window (and from the presser this morning)

Chief V.also would also not confirm or deny that there were any other signs of struggle in the room.
