Am I reading this right?

Have no idea what it's about. Another poster mentioned that the Celis' dogs got out and ran the neighborhood last week?

I have not been able to find anything that mentions it, and no one has produced a link. I doubt the charges are related to that event (criminal court and so many counts), but would like someone more knowledgeable to chime in.

I read another poster from Tucson who said that she saw on a local channel, someone being led from the Celis home in handcuffs a couple nights ago. I did not see that, but looked a little bit at the news coverage from over the weekend. What I saw of the local stations' news from the past few days didn't turn up that footage.

The info from that site indicated he was arrested on the 19th. Why would he be arrested on the 19th for an incident he was ticketed for on the 13th? He is to be arraigned on the 26th.

Hmmmm.

Last summer, a friend's house was broken into. The story was posted on here too. But didn't get a lot of attention.
Anyway, i'm pretty sure their door might have been unlocked. But either way, there house was broken into.
The teenager that broke in stole stuff from their home and garage and then went BACK inside and beat my friend w/ a metal bat several times in the head and her husband's knee, etc.
Their teenage son heard his parent's screaming from the living room and ran into the room and attacked the kid that was beating his parents to death.
The stupid "kid" used to be a friend of his.
I won't keep going.....there's much to the story and so much they're still dealing with.
It's horrible.
This world is a scary place. :(

52 feels pretty much like 52...humidity was in single digits over the weekend. I love sleeping with my windows open but then I have bars. Yes I know fire danger yada, yada...but I'll take my chances. I love the desert air flowing thru, especially after it rains...

I am not impressed by the charges. It was 20 years ago. Who of us can withstand our lives being scrutinzed under a microscope. I don't believe the parents had anything to do with this incident.
I believe someone they know or who had access to the house, unlocked that window and came back. Why did the dogs not bark? Something is "hinky" here.

We don't live in a one story, our bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, but we do sleep with the windows (screens on) open during the season when the days are hot and the nights are cooler. I know many of my neighbors do, as well.

If the Celis' slept with their windows open, they are close enough to Broadway that they would hear all kinds of noise all night long. Broadway is one of (if not THE) busiest thoroughfares in Tucson. Foot traffic, a bbq joint, buses, etc.

O/T but we just moved to a 2nd story apartment and I am undecided on whether to keep the windows open at night, especially in the kids' room... also we have a balcony where in order to get to it, someone would have to basically scale the wall but I am still nervous about leaving the sliding doors (w/screens) open. I could lock the screen but I assume if someone really wanted to get in they would just cut it.

Am surprised she still has an RN license.
I don't know the charges the mother had but the Board of Nursing will allow the RN to go to rehab and be able to retain a license.

So, your windows would be open at night when it is 52 degrees? I know some people like to get under their quilts all bundled up but I would be freezing. Our windows get shut when it hits the 60's, lol. Brrrrr... At 52 degrees I might even have to kick on the heat a little but I think that is more because of the humidity and dampness.

Depending on how old your kiddos are, I probably wouldn't sleep with the balcony door open. In fact, even if I was childless, I probably wouldn't leave the door open.

I know this wasn't directed at me, but...I sleep with blankets on ALWAYS, even if it's scorching. (Do not ask me why, I cannot sleep without at least a sheet on me.) So, when it's 52, it's perfect for snuggling under a warm blanket with my hubby, with the breeze coming through.

feels good to have to pull the blanket up when its been hovering round the century mark...shut the windows in the morning before the sun gets started cooking things...

I have a whole new perspective on this now.

Has anyone said what the charges the dad has pending are for, definitively?
