Where were the home dogs? The dogs were there at bedtime. It was like any other home night.

They have several dogs, but he does not know the number, but more than 1. He is not saying whether the dogs barked. will not release that information.

They may provide extra protection to the family if they return home. It is something they are considering.

None of the local stations are airing this presser. Clearly Juliana and Bill's (whoever they are) surrogate pregnancy is more important. Grrrr!:banghead:

The biggest focus right now is processing the leads they are getting. They weigh them out, evaluate them and assign them to investigators.

In "twalls" post #444, I am trying to find that alley way shown in the photo on google maps. I can't match up "google map" street view to the picture in post #444. HELP!!! TIA

I found the alley by the house on Google Maps..the image is from 2008...there are hinges on two sides, widely separated, it looks like a big gate, big enough to allow cars in the back yard...looks like a (unfortunately) good way to slip in the back yard and not be seen from the road.....

Like some of you, I also feel that too much weight is being given to the dogs also. There are too many variables to be discussed for it to matter. Until we have the facts, we just don't know. They could have slept far away from Isabel's room and not heard anything.

I think the reason why we are questioning this so much is because a dog's barking sends out an alert that a stranger is present. If the person responsible was a family member or "known" person, then they wouldn't bark.

I, for one, am not ready to blame the parents. I think that the quick 911 call is enough evidence for me (at the moment) to hold onto hope that they are innocent. Mom was at work and left immediately to come home after she was notified of her daughter's disappearance.

I agree ---- also, in our house barking usually means small animal in the backyard and we scream "be quiet" (stupid, stupid, stupid).... I too am not ready to blame the parents and if I had to bet an entire years pay, I would bet this is someone close enough to know the families routine that nobody ever noticed. Maybe a warehouse worker? Somebody in the neighborhood saw this person before and praying there is a nosey neighbor in that neighborhood!!!!

The presser is saying IMO that the tips ARE helping them. Anyone else get that feeling from what the officer is saying?

How can LE not know if she was in school on Friday? Or does just the one speaking not know?

TPD, US Marshalls and scheduled briefings throughout the day with other agencies on the case presently.

Thanx for transcribing live, SurfieTX!

At least we have one answer today...the dogs were home that nite (long discussion was had here about whether they were)...even if it can't be released whether they barked. :sigh:

Someone saw evidence being removed from a car (reporter). (He dances around this - basically saying he does not know, etc)

Open dialogue with the family.

Does the family have an attorney? He doesn't have that information.

The last search warrant from 1:30 a.m. this morning was the last search warrant to be served.

They may get more in the future, but do not know right now.

LEO did not want to divulge who last saw Isabel. Said "family" put her to bed and "family" went to wake her up.

The latter.

I get very frustrated when the spokesperson does not have answers to basic questions (different than knowing but admitting that they can't answer)...

and here this "car" comes up again? I wonder what is up with that?

Is there a break imminent?

He can't tell the future, but they are following a certain protocol and that protocol, by experience, is the best process to resolution of any case.

I think LE is keeping so quiet because of what happened in the Baby Lisa case. They want the Parents to keep talking. JMHO

:seeya: I was thinking the same thing ... and JMO, but I see several similarities ...

Back to catching up before I :worms: ...

:moo:
