Just guessing, but they probably had a search warrant already. I doubt that they would bring an HRD dog in there without a search warrant. Maybe there is an expiration date/time on it. Maybe they want to search for additional specific things or in specific locations (rooms, garage, shed, etc.) that were not listed on the previous search warrant. All just my speculation.
Thank you! I am still learning through WS the legalities of searching for missing persons!

The rooms/items/etc. on the Search Warrant must be stated quite specifically, I gather!

JVM just had a quick update and moved on to John Edwards but she will have Isabel's case later on.

Just my opinion, but I think it's way too early to make a call on who was involved in her disappearance. Could have been anyone at this point.

Yes, that's true. She was really going on like it was a foregone conlclusion that the parents were involved.

It's just my opinion at this point that the parents aren't involved. The police have said the parents are fully cooperating and were each interviewed separately for several hours.

Looking at her pictures is just heartbreaking. She is so lovely and looks so happy. And I don't think this case is going to end well. :rose:

Can someone tell me how old the siblings are?
Isa's older brothers are 10 and 14 years old. One goes to Jr. High, the other goes to High School...all Academy of Tuscon Schools.

It would be devastating if the cadaver dog hit in the home. Imo, it would not be a random intruder. He would have just left her there or dumped her close by in that case, imo.

I am hoping it was the scent dog that picked up some clue somehow. But that would have meant a trail, and they would be following it and be seen, so....?

I have to admit that I, too am confused. Of course the little girl's scent is inside the home so what would a scent dog picking up her scent inside of the house signify? Unfortunately, a hit inside of the house points to a cadaver dog hit IMO. Now if it had been reported that a scent dog picked up her scent leaving the home and headed in a certain direction, I could understand better.

Parents did not want to do an interview with the media, I missed that in the 2:00 PM PC. I know there are divergent schools of thought on that choice, but personally I feel it's a good thing to do.

They must be so devastated. As much as my DS and DD used to bicker and fight, they adored each other. My DS would have been inconsolable if something like this happened to his little sis in the middle of the night. I hope they can get through this and have happy lives at some point.

Unless something bad happened afterwards, I think it's safe to say that she didn't just get up and wander away. It's been too long, the search is too big, and her picture is everywhere. That leaves three real possibilities, none of which are good.
She wandered off and got harmed or abducted after the fact (which I don't believe because of the screen).
Non family abduction, which is never good.
Family involved abduction or worse. (which I won't speculate on, I'm just pointing it out).

Not good, no matter what, at this point. I still have hope, even after reading through both threads, but it's getting weaker by the hour. I wonder if the every two hour press conferences are to try to keep a potential perp on edge...

Per presser: Social media can work for us OR work against us. Be careful from where the media get their information from.

Next briefing at 6:00 PM

I am kind of leaning towards the perp being a close family member or friend. NOT the parents or sibs, but maybe a cousin or uncle or in-law kind of thing.

Either that, or a coach or neighbor or stalker.

I really wish they would speak to the media, even if they just read a statement and didn't answer questions.

Lots of Mom's friends have Isobel's photo as their picture on FB...they all seem to know her well...

Anita you know it is a damn if you do damn if you don't situation . Good example the Sierra Lamar case. Seems every time her parents more Marlene than Steve open their mouth the get ripped to shreds.

Many of her co-workers have also spoken out, they seem to think very highly of her.

I wish we could hear about the families activities that Friday night prior to her abduction.
