I saw his name listed as one of the persons entering the neighborhood that day. If you download the documents then you can use the search function to find key words. My eyes are too tired or I'd look for you.

I downloaded one of the packets but am not able to use the search/find function to locate words in the document. Maybe different versions of Adobe or does yours convert the document to text? My question - can you search on a word that is blacked out and still find it? Like we know Isabel's name would be on the pdf's but it is blacked out - are you able to find it by searching? I think the only way that would work though is if they "blacked out" the data electronically. More likely they blacked out the paper copies and then scanned them, right?

Well now, that pretty much shows JM wasn't living there when Isa went missing, and also was not there to knock on the neighbor's door.

It was the general consensus that JM was there, because of the short media interviews that happened, as well as the neighbor stating that the police said the person that knocked on her door was the "uncle". Somehow people put two and two together and had JM living in the house.

What I originaly got from watching the neighbor's interview was not that JM lived at the house, but rather, that he might have stayed over that night or he might have been involved in Isabel's disappearance becuse he was on the scene so early.

The neighbor stated that someone knocked on her door at around 8:15 a.m. to ask if she heard anything and she said the man identified him as Isabel's uncle.

Bassed on the fact that JM self-identified as Isabel's uncle on his FB page (and later, his dating site page), and then to media, many here made the logical and completely reasonable deduction that he could be the "uncle" who knocked on the neighbor's door at 8:15 a.m.

And frankly, that could still be the case. Who's to say he didn't go to the Celis house and then go back home, and set out for the residence again at noon with the other family members?

It could have been anything that she answered...i.e. he has "a temper"...

Anyway talking about kids is the quickest way to get a thread closed down :(

I thought the mom said the boy blacked out....one of the brothers...

In my personal experience, a police report can read "victim stated so and so" when the " statement" is actually an answer to a question the officer asked.
Hypothetical example
" does your son have any anger issues, behavioral problems...."
" he has ADHD ( or whatever)"
And this gets transcribed as " victim stated her son has ADHD" as if she walked up and announced it.

All we know is, whatever RC's answer was about one of the boys, it caused LE to ask if she thought he could hurt Isabel.

Well, I can't read the PDFs, so this might be stupid, but...is it possible that he planned to ask anyway if either of the sons were capable of hurting isa? A routine question not related to whatever the son may have?

Why would a perp wear those boots ? They are not designed for speed and agility ? When he jumped down into the yard, wouldn't it be kind of loud ? If the ground is packed dirt ? Also, IMO, they would be hard to run in...if the need arose.

No, I could see a hypothetical abducter wearing what peeps in my home town call "felony shoes "... AKA sneakers..... JMO

For walking in the desert? I think there are washes on the other side of the ballpark where LE has had several searches. Or it could be a military style boot which are surprisingly quiet and agile. The 3 girls case was over by the military base. Maybe a local will pop in to say if boots are common foot wear. I'm more worried it was one of the cops' boot print. :waitasec:

Just wanted to throw this out there - if someone is diagnosed with ADHD and is given stimulant medication (Concerta, Adderall, Focalin, etc.) but they have an underlying condition like bipolar - the stimulants can make that person extremely aggressive. JMO

so JM showed up after police were there...

for some reason (not sure why) i thought he was there before police, so i was wondering why he had not been interviewed. lol

He could have been and gone back later. Someone knocked on the neighbor's door at 8:15 a.m. and said he was Isabel's "uncle."

Psychosis is not treated w/downers it is treated w/anti-psychotics. Tranquilizers and mood stabilizers are also used.

Thanks, Shelby. The med info I looked at did say sedatives, but it also said tranquilizers and mood stabilizers and I neglected to include those. Sorry.

Ha, I couldn't get the search to work either, I just happen to re-find it quickly. As to finding blacked out words, I remember in Kyron's case LE released phone logs with the numbers blacked out using marker. The techie posters were able to convert the files somehow and it all showed up. These documents look blocked out.

NO...because these appear to be scanned documents, not say Word converted to .pdf....

search function does not work on these docs....

Isa didn't seem afraid of either brother to me because she was known to go to sleep in their room.JMOO

yeah, i know how to use it as i work in adobe almost everyday lol
my eyes too were tired LOL...i just didnt know if someone had the info readily available..

i will go look since i dont think anyone does... :D

ETA....wasnt he there when police arived? or did he suddenly just take off and dissapear?

No, he was not ever confirmed by any sources to be there that morning.
People assumed the neighbor's statement about the uncle knocking on her door was JM.

Oh god don't even worry about it!! Unfortunately I know more about this than I ever wanted to!
No apologies necessary for me.

He could have been and gone back later. Someone knocked on the neighbor's door at 8:15 a.m. and said he was Isabel's "uncle."

THIS is why im confused, because I thought the doc said police arrived on scene at 0820......

yet we clearly see that police were there when he arrived at the house....

confused. maybe because im tired.....or maybe because something is wonky in all of this...

ETA.....packet#6, page 3 states:

Review of the call text showed that this call was received at 0813, entered at 0814, dispatched at 0814 and a unit was on the scene at 0820 hours....

that is stated after it says....

Mr. Celis called his wife (Rebbecca) and advised her that Isa was missing.....

...still confused...

I didn't get anything from the neighbor's interview that she felt the "uncle" may have stayed at the Celis' house.

The neighbor did not identify the person that knocked on her door as the "uncle", it was the police that told her after she got dressed and came outside, is when LE told her that the man is the uncle.

For me, I didn't come to the conclusion that it was JM that knocked on the door based on how he perceived himself to the media, on his Facebook page or the dating website.

We will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

Per the money and JM

In the packets, the niece did say she saw JM not long ago at a race or something. Her BF said it had been a year?

I meant that they supposedly had not seen SC and RC in a year, according to the report... JMO

Yep. Then he'll be in the logs somewhere as LE staged a road block as soon as officers arrived, making note of each car and passengers.
