Sorry. I tried to copy a post from a few threads ago.....still trying. But it's that we cannot speculate on anything sexual between SC and Isa. I was wrong about thay kind of speculation in general.

Sorry.

Nope, that doesn't count as a forensic test. That's considered standard crime scene investigation and evidence collection procedures. Forensic testing involves scientific testing for identification. Testing is not done at a scene. Collection is done at a scene. Testing and analysis is done elsewhere (in a lab).

Can you link this up? I thought all testing of a crime scene, whether in the lab or at the scene itself, was considered "foresnic" testing?

Thanks,

Salem

I thought they collected all the bedding ASAP. Where were they checking for semen?

Remember someone mentioning "look at the grocery store" for leads, places where Isa would go? I had to grab some supplies at the petstore and was in the neighborhood, so I went to the one on Craycroft and Broadway.

As I entered, I wondered if this is where the Celis family got their pet supplies for the three dogs. Anyway, in the checkout line, there was a little girl ahead of me who shyly asked for a "free doggie biscuit". The cashier engaged her in conversation as he got her a biscuit (what's your dog's name, how old are you, what school do you go to?) I thought about Isa, and if she'd ever asked for treats like this little girl. (At the front of the checkout lanes, they had two of Isa's missing posters along with ads and such.)

Anyway, in my same train of thought about the pets and Isa, it occurred to me that the backyard dirt may have been hardpacked because of the dogs. Especially on the east side, which would be the coolest side of the home during the hottest part of the day. This may be why NO footprints were found outside her window.

I thought I'd post my musings whilst I have a few minutes between entertaining the kiddos. :seeya:

AR, Couple of questions : what do you mean exactly by " the backyard dirt may have been hardpacked because of the dogs " ??

Also, were there ANY footprints at all within the walled parameter of the Celis' yard ?

<modsnip> could be the male version of the neighborhood "crazy lady"....you know the one im talking about...the one with the messy yard, blinds in the window that are all wonky from peering out thru them watching the neighborhood as if it is a TV, feeding the wild birds so much that the front porch looks like the bottom of a bird cage....the busy body who knows what all is going on in the neighborhood & hollywood too cause she reads the national enquirer like the bible....

lol hopefully i described nobody here :what:

ok. well maybe im the only one who grew up with one of....those....in my neighborhood. lol

im thinking he is the neighborhood adult boy scout..there to serve and help in a neighbors time of need w/ a little bit of the above mixed in!
lol

Sounds like George Zimmerman to me. The adult boy scout that is...

Drop the discussion about the father unless you can link it up. It is a horrible thing to say or speculate about someone, just because the thought crosses your mind.

Drop it now, or link it up by MSM or LE reports.

Not defending McMaglighter (LOVE that moniker), but my first reaction upon hearing the odd response of needing to rush home for breakfast is maybe he is diabetic. Or hypoglycemic. He may have needed to get home for insulin and/or food. He is still very suspicious to me, but m-a-y-b-e his rush was medically instigated.

I thought the same thing Azcrabcakes! I am hypoglycemic and sometimes when my sugar gets low enough I can't think straight...which could be what happened to NMD. On another note, I agree with Paximus, this info dump was basically just to pacify the public....there is probably nothing in it of any use. I'm sure that was all redacted or blacked out.

I know that potential sexual abuse is a delicate subject, but unless this was an accident/cover up, that is probably going to be the primary motive. JMO

To my kge, forensic testing is done in a lab and evidence is collected at the scene. In order to collect evidence, sometimes you have to test it at the scene to see if it is, indeed, evidence to take to the lab where they do extensive work in forensics.

All good points and I will leave your post intact but only comment on a couple of issues (in bold by me)

He could have been out searching for many reasons but it makes no sense he went alone. If anyone was in his house at that time and he stated he was going out to search, I cannot imagine that person (s) wouldn't tag along. Also why did he not pick up someone on the street or in the area to accompany him? Someone who wants to play hero or is really concerned enough to insert himself in a crime because he is a "good guy" trying to help does not (generally) hurry off to eat when he is faced with a cop who may give him some "inside info". Now that would really make him feel neded and appreiated!

What I find curious is what LE does not have in that report. The officer makes note of NMD's shirt but does not state if his shoes appeared wet and/or muddy. Why not? Did he not notice? Doubt it. Any officer who is conscientious enough to stand watch for 20 minutes waiting for a person to return to a car under all these cumstances would notice the condition of clothing and shoes after hearing this mans reason for being there.(MO). I bet the officer also noticed a lot about the car as well that does not need to be in this initial report. Depending the length of his tenure, this officer may have developed some good body language skills as well.

Neither do I. THis ould have been a man totally oblivious to what was going on and sitting there for any number of reasons. Why be outside and draw attention?

You play the devil's advocate well. :twocents:

The officer might have not mentioned his shoes because he might have been wearing flip flops. It's so common here in Az to wear flip flops. Many times all year round because it doesn't get that cold. Even if you are walking around in a wash/desert area. It's just part of living in the Phoenix/Tucson area. Same with wearing tank tops and shorts to bed. We actually look forward to rain here too. It's very dry.

Makes total sense. In more cases than not, a six year old would be taken by a pedophile and the reason is for sex.

Augh. Salem is on! Nevah mind! She'll know what's okay and what's not. I can't seem to post without wonk tonight! :p

BBM Yep. Maybe LE expects that and can trace the IPP address of every person who clicks the link.

Well, LE if your reading, did I mess that up with my docstoc links?

Actually, I can't see them issuing a subpoena to the news station and now docstoc and anyplace else that has them, for that information, but who knows.

Sorry, I had to go look it up from a couple of threads ago: we just cannot speculate that kind of stuff if it involves SC. I apologize.

Please carry on, I messed up.

TY this is good to know....I guess if/when MSM mentions it, it will be okay at that point...JMO

Yes-i think that's the deal. If MSM runs a story that backs that kind of accusation against SC, then it's okay to pose theories about it.

Not sure on other perps, but I would think that's okay unless told otherwise! :)

First there's nothing even remotely indicating a bed skirt is missing from Isa's room(tho I'm quite certain this idea will grow legs somehow)and isa's room was thoroughly searched for semen and was absolutely negative!

Nowhere did I state the bedskirt was from her room or that house. I was just responding to a query about why someone *might* discard a dust ruffle.

Aside from looking at the family, Isa and her attire, LE may be looking for other POI's and their purchases. Often we see specials on 48 hours where the suspect leaves no forensic or incriminating evidence behind, but they are seen purchasing black trash bags, rubber gloves, bleach, or even chemicals for poisoning. People don't use rational judgement in the heat of the moment. LE knows that. It can't hurt to look.

I find the fact that the cashier was so forward and inquisitive about the little girl in your experience a bit troubling. To me a line is being crossed by the cashier and any info about a child, what school they attend, etc. SHOULD NOT be conveyed to a stranger. In these days you cannot give people the benefit of the doubt as we live in a world where people do crazy things!!!

Possible PCP abuse leads to a naked man chewing another man's face (also naked) on a freaking highway.

And the media keep on sensationalizing it..l
