What is the current status of the sealed search warrants? I know that LE has continued to keep the search warrants under wraps, but won't there be a time when they'll need to be released?

I'm not sure BDE. I do know in other cases like Susan Powell's the LE didn't release the original search warrants until after Josh killed himself and the two boys. I believe if it will hurt their investigation, they will keep them sealed until challanged possibly? WVPD still won't release everything in their case files last I checked.

"There are no major updates in the case, but police still have staff working full-time on the investigation, according to Tucson Police."

Staff? Does that mean not even a Detective?

This usually means they have a 'reactive' stance. If something breaks, they react. :/

I would imagine they are at the point where a detective is only involved if a new tip surfaces and probably re-reading the case file when time permits. Very sad. But what else can they do?

I think a family dissin' the other on fb would wake them up possibly. RC or JM ditched the other.

Drat! I've lost my shortcuts to some Facebook profiles.

So, the woman who operates the website called "Find Me" in Arizona, and who is supposedly working with the family, has posted on the Find Isabel page that she has just prepared a report with a huge piece of the puzzle about where Isabel is.

Grain of salt and that whole thing...

Psychic. Read her bio.

"I see her lying in the meadow by a stoney brook.." gah. Only this one probably says I see her in CA or Mexico being treated good by her caretakers....or something.

There was one in Haleigh Cummings case (and she popped up on others too, SA). You had to see her home videos trying to catch a ghost or spirit on video while she took a nap. Funniest video I've ever watched.

Stopping by to leave a little something for Isabel. I think of her every day. It is almost a full year since she was " abducted".

Isabel Celis has now been missing for 11 months. Where is Isabel? Who took this girl from her home in Tucson? Is Isabel still alive? Is she deceased? Will her parents ever find out what happened to their daughter? So many unanswered questions.

:please: Please don't let this become yet another child who is never found :please:

I'm not entirely caught up on Isabel's case. I'm only on thread #5 or 6...
But as of right now, have Isabel's parents been ruled as as POI's or is LE still saying that 'everyone is a POI?'

My grandparents live near Tucson (well kind of). They live in Naco, AZ. I think it's about a 2 hour drive SE from Tucson. It borders the Mexico/US border. So I wonder if news about Isa has reached there? Or if maybe she has been taken down into that area.

I hope Isabel is found soon! It's almost been a year and by the looks of it, not much has been happening...

On a side note-I shared her Missing Poster on my Facebook today. Hopefully someone, somewhere, has some information on this sweet little angel <3

Living down the street from the Celis family, I would just like to say that by my observation, they are a close family, and the boys get along very well with their parents. Excepting the tragic disappearance of their younger sister, I think most observers would comment the exact opposite of the quoted post. Rather than "poor boys", I have always thought they were lucky boys to have so involved a father and mother. Both before and after Isabel's disappearance.

Sergio and his boys are active together and everyone on our street is familiar with their interactions

They are active dirt bicycle riders and spend alot of time together in the evenings and weekends working on the track in the neighborhood and riding together. As well, they garden together, practice baseball together, and just generally seem to be very close knit. These activities have taken place in full view of the entire street, on a daily basis, for years. The children have never seemed apprehensive of either parent. They laugh, they talk, they smile. This is not an act, it's their day to day life.

The reactions by the internet are based on a few brief moments in time. Very stressful and terrible moments in time.

By all observation within our community, they are a loving family. Their house is still adorned with banners and posters. Isabel's picture is still on bus benches and her fliers are in windows all over town.

The criticism and suspicion I've heard about the Celis family all comes from a distance. No one that I know who is in the area or lives of the family thinks they had any involvement in the disappearance of their daughter.

I have read alot about them, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm just sharing my observations, from having seen them on a day to day basis for the last several years.
