Sounds like a case of look over there, not at us.

JM was allowed to move back to FL & it appears he was still under probation
I go back to the neighbor woman AS who heard two men in the alley that morning around 6:30am. She said two men.

Respectfully snipped.

2 men have been on my radar since the beginning.

Kevin Keen ‏@kgunkeen 1h Police reveal new details about Isabel Celis abduction investigation. Why did Tucson detectives head to Arkansas? I'm live @kgun9 at 6

Not much. They are investigating every tip wherever it takes them. They showed a map with Wash, CA, AZ, NM, Mexico & other states were highlighted. They are following tips and had one as recently as last week. When the Chief was asked about the information put out by Isabel's parents, he said we have investigated many and all have cooperated, no one has been ruled out. They aren't working on Isabel's case full time, but follow up on every tip even 3rd party tips, he said.

I'm going to guess the police know about this possible line of inquiry. From the first article:

KGUN9 asked Tucson Police Department if there is a person or people whom detectives want to interview in this case but cannot or have not. The department is looking in to it.

KGUN9 asked Tucson Police Department if there is a person or people whom detectives want to interview in this case but cannot or have not.

Update: It took two business days for the police department to respond. Sgt. Maria Hawke wrote in a statement late Tuesday:
"At this time, I can confirm that no known Celis family members or their friends have failed to cooperate with an interview when Tucson Police Department personnel have requested one of them. The investigation remains open. There is no new information regarding the investigation that we are able to release at this time."

So the Police department says one thing and the Celis' another-wonder who is telling the truth and who is telling tales? JMO

Hey ya Knox! :seeya: I understand what you mean.

Just saw this video posted on twitter via KGUN 9. The Find Me PI's that are working for the Celis family. If anyone wants to check back, there are posts about the makeup of this PI group. Only the man in the video was related to law enforcement, retired, of any kind. The rest were phychics. Not sure of the makeup of members now, but will check again when I'm around.

This is a just a ridculous statement to me, time? they have been on it since it was announced in April or there abouts this year? ...not to mention other statements made. Pointing fingers at someone else just leaves me with a Cobra Staubs type feeling, iykwim? Not bad guys, just called upon to produce and that's our latest news folks via RC, SC, their PI now & most importantly what the TPD had as a response to the Celis parents new news... :seeya:

'Time is enemy here': Private eyes search for Isabel Celis

I just heard the 911 call again and was startled, just like I was the first time, at how nonchalant and matter of fact, Sergio sounds. He is reporting his little girl as MISSING and he sounds like he is ordering a pizza. It is not just trhat he is calm, it is that he is upbeat and seemingly unconcerned. Listen to it again. It is just as shocking as it was when you first heard it.

Yep, casual as you like.

Analysis of the call indicates deception and prior knowledge.

So the Police department says one thing and the Celis' another-wonder who is telling the truth and who is telling tales? JMO

The relationship between the Celis' and TPD has been somewhat adversarial from the beginning. I think the lack of trust that Becky and Sergio have for local authorities stems from them knowing that they have been on the radar from day one. That's not likely to change unless there's a major break in the case that clearly indicates otherwise. :moo:

Sergio said there is one particular person out there with critical information and, he said, that person isn’t talking to the family's hired investigator.

“It's frustrating to run against a wall of: this person has an attorney and they're not going to let them speak a word,” Sergio said.

That attorney, he said, is “protecting somebody that we feel has a lot of information to give."

Sergio said the person refused to answer questions posed by the private investigator and others.
I don't see the two accounts as contradictory, necessarily.

Sergio says that there is a family member who has a lawyer and who they think is withholding information and has refused to answer questions posed by the family PI.

LE says that no one they have asked for an interview has refused.

It is quite possible that someone refused to be interviewed by a PI or did not respond to their inquiries in a way that would satisfy the family but had agreed to a LE interview at some point anyway.

It is also possible to agree to have an interview with LE and withhold information at the same time.

anything yet? :(

Nothing new here in Tucson. Our local media outlets report virtually no news from midday Friday until Monday morning (in this case, Tuesday) unless it's related to the U of A teams, severe weather, or a shooting. I honestly don't expect to hear another peep about the PI and 'relative who won't speak' unless something breaks on the case at TPD's hands. This PI/outfit doesn't rank too high in my personal book of "oh, gee... amazingly mad skillz at work here." But that's just me I suppose.

Although, I was following this case initially I really had no theory of who may have caused harm, except to consider the (awful) 911 call, screen, etc. I really have just stepped back in trying to form an opinion, but always was interested in this case.

Donjeta's post above spoke volumes to me & given what LE has said. We all know what IMO private PI's are brought in to do...pin it on someone else. I also agree that LE statement could be true on their end, nobody has refused. I makes me wonder if someone that day probably helped or maybe later knew what happened and talked to LE, yet is not talking to the families PI? If that is the case though, is it enough for an arrest these days, when everyone wants the whole thing on video?

Why would the parents of a missing child protect anyone who might have information about their daughter's whereabouts and/or who has her? Isabel should be their primary concern! :moo:

Maybe they're scared that if they say who has Isabel, they'll get killed or Isbael will be killed (if she isn't already).Or they're afraid they'll end up in jail for protecting whoever has her/harmed her. If they pretend they don't know anything, they stay out of jail longer.
IMO.
