Reporter: It seems like the investigation hasn't really narrowed in in 5 days. How do you gauge progress?

Chief: We have made progress. This is a problem in these "who done it" situations.

This is a complex case, it's a very tragic case. We're trying to do the best we can with the limited information we have. I understand the public's need to know, but we have to protect the integrity of the investigation.

I haven't seen this posted yet. So sorry if it was already posted and I missed it.

This was on Nancy Grace's page.

Police have removed what appears to be fabric from a car at the home of missing six-year-old Isabel Celis.

Thank you.

We have already discussed how NG is always days behind on her bombshells.

That was done very early on when they first got the SW for the house and SW for the vehicles.

I am sure it was items they had taken with them to the ballpark the night before. I seem to remember LE taking large pillows out of the trunk too in one of the videos I watched.

We will look in any wash where we think someone could be hiding or some evidence could be left behind.

Dogs are not being used as much, but are not completely out of the picture (search dogs).

Next presser at 8 pm.

RT @teresajunKOLD: #Tucson police update on search for 6-yo Isabel Celis: Chief Roberto Villasenor: ".. haven't ruled out possibility of ransom..."

How long does it take to review a surveillance video? :banghead:

13 RSOs in the area of Broadway and Craycroft. The Chief says they have talked to all of them.

I think he is just talking and trying to save face.

Imo, they are no closer to finding out 'who done it' than they were the day she went missing.

I was out and I just got to watch the parents' plea. It brought tears to my eyes. These poor parents. Just confirmed my feeling that the parents did not harm Isa and they are victims of the cruel kidnapper who took their daughter.

This may very well not be a favorable opinion but I'm not convinced.. Hearing and seeing the father brought shades of Susan Smith to mind.. Just chalk it up to me being suspicious until I have solid proof..I do pray they are not involved though..JMHO

Parents were interviewed separately and so were the brothers per HLN.

I wonder why the Parents didn't have real tears? It really bothers me. I wanted to cry reading posts until I just seen JVM, and I wasn't moved and I am a BIG CRYBABY. I am on the fence here with their plea. JMHO

I wasn't fooled for one second by Susan Smith's crocodile tears. The minute she came out with her fake dry crying jag the very first time, I turned to my husband, and told him 'she killed those boys.' He agreed. I looked at David and THAT was real pain and anquish. What Susan did was very bad acting. Imo, that is why the Sheriff knew all along she had murdered her little boys.

I felt the same today as I did when Mark Lunsford came out or when Steve Greone did. I am very comfortable in believing this family would never ever harm any of their children including Isa. I think they are a very loving family who is in more pain than anyone can ever imagine unless it is a person who has had to walk in the same shoes they have.

But I do understand if others don't feel the same way I do, but I am sticking by the parents, and supporting them totally. I have done it for other parents in the same situation over the years and I feel I should support these distraught parents also.

IMO

For me, in order to have a clear mind and able to capture everything about a case, I have to always remain neutral otherwise I become a basket-case.

I do feel for all parents that have a missing child, however, I just don't put my full emotions into it for now. Actually with the Caylee case, video taping and capturing just about every single word every stated on air, I am worn out!

I agree. The Chief is getting more and more defensive the longer this goes on and the more times he has to face the media and speak and answer questions. I can tell he's frustrated and I, too, unfortunately, get the impression that they have no idea who took Isa.

Yeah, really.:banghead: Especially if the perp is on there. Wouldnt that be put on the front burner?

I dont even know why they are having these PCs because they say the same thing over and over again.

I did hear on one of the shows though that there are still people they are trying to locate and interview but havent found them home. So is someone missing from that area, I wonder?

imo
