The foreclosed home (or the home that was in danger of being foreclosed?) was sold for approx. $83,000 in Nov. 2011. (Sorry, no link. Just a weird thing I remembered.) The address was 8750 S Desert Valley Way.
So the foreclosed home and the sold home are one and the same? The home they are in now was never in danger of foreclosure?

TY for that, btw. That was faaaast, lol. Good memory there! :)

RBBM, Pensfan. How could "child prostitution" exist without child trafficking? This premise doesn't seem logical to me. A child can't be a prostitute unless some adult has "trafficked" them into it. What am I not understanding?

Under the guidelines of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, the definition of child trafficking means the child was transportation, transferred, harbored, and/or received/purchased for the purpose of selling sexual acts.

Child prostitution does not have to involve a child that was received/purchased, transported, transferred, and harbored.

Has the 911 call been released?

Trafficking is across state or national lines. Prostitution doesn't have to be, but it often is. Those girls are brought to truck stops or other states a lot. I don't know of one case, though, involving a teen who wasn't a runaway or troubled or from a screwed up family.

This is a case of a little girl who seemed adored by a family who had stable jobs, and whose lives appeared to revolve around their kids. No sullen teen without a dad looking for love, or a desperate kid trying to get away from abuse at home, or a kid whose disappearance barely seems to register on the family's radar.

Please read up on Samantha Koenig case here at WS..... Found Deceased AK - Samantha Koenig, 18, Anchorage, 01 Feb 2012 - #7 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_...other-federal-charges-in-alaska-barista-case/

Keyes is accused of killing Koenig less than a day after her abduction. He then allegedly used her cell phone and debit card to demand and obtain ransom money, a federal prosecutor said.

The 34-year-old was indicted on charges of kidnapping resulting in death, receiving and possessing ransom money and debit card fraud in Koenig's death.

THE dad knew/LE knew but NO ONE else knew this.

I am very aware of Samantha's case...just not seeing similarities, personally...

No, Salem. The closest we've been able to get to it is what's posted in the scanner downstairs. And those facts are only adding to our confusion.

I didn't read anywhere that their current home was ever in danger of foreclosure. (My memory only works part time at this age. LOL Now where did I put that Aricept!)

Let's see if I did the quote thing right. & Ty for the welcome :) I can't always get the links bc I'm strictly using my phone. I figured it was one of the 5, it took me awhile to finally spot the person but I finally saw them as well. I can't believe it's been a week & I'm hoping LE has more leads then they are letting on to the public. IMO I haven't ruled out the parents- the whole case has me baffled.

Perfect!

Yes, it is baffling. It is a very rare case that a child disappears from her home. And we seem to have little to go on here.

I have my feelings based on my own, amateur profiling of the case, the family and Isabel. But it does seem to me that the really viable options involve an inside job - either the parents or another relative or someone who knew that family, their patterns and their home.

But who knows?

Has the 911 call been released?

Thanks,

Salem

Not yet.

Sadly, time may never tell a thing: Kyron Horman, Haleigh Cummings, Hailey Dunn, Etan Patz, Hassani Campbell, Aliayah Lunsford, Sky Metalwala, etc., etc.

...Celina Cass, Holly Bobo, Kathryn Markham, Jhessye Shockley, Ava Reynolds....:rose:

I'm not sure if this has been discussed, sorry if it has.

Does a surveillance camera from the security store actually point to the house. I know there have been conflicting suggestions to this. What if an employee, or someone with access to them was watching Isabel that way. That would explain why they were hiding behind the store (if the mysterious figure is the perp), as it is more familiar to them.

Since the parents moved out of their home, how did the dad expect the kidnappers to tell him their demands? Did he suspect that the kidnappers had his cell number? Is his cell phone number even published?

Adji Desir. Just breaks my heart.

God. We are calling "the" roll of the lost/missing. Breaks my heart too. At least we remember them. And pray for them and their families. :tears:

Nothing seems to add up in this situation. I don't think a random stranger made his way into the house and grabbed Isabel without alerting anyone, not even a dog. Yet, I have a hard time believing that either of her parents were involved. So, did someone forget to lock the doors that night? Did one of the boys sneak out for a bit and leave the door open? This family appears to be a solid loving family who enjoyed spending time with their children. Somewhere, something or someone went wrong, but I just don't get that sense of any of the immediate family being hinky. My heart aches for them and what ever torment they are enduring.

According to this, the home was coming up for auction in 2010. Scroll down to
'Celis' house.
I posted this a few days ago because I didn't understand what it meant, and a poster replied that it appeared like it was going to be foreclosed but they came up with the funds.
