I've lost a few posts over the last couple of days and have had difficulty opening every page that I attempt to visit on this site. I hope mods are taking note of the concerns and will have the problem rectified promptly.

Respectfully, if you had read back a few posts, you would have realized I was live transcribing from Nancy's show last night. But don't worry, I won't bother doing it again since it's clearly not appreciated.

There was a member that posted something regarding LE was going to contact the brothers to ask them how the family acted the week before.

Some of us thought that LE stated this at a press conference, so some of us looked for the press conference, and I went searching for the key words in order to find the post. I found it and asked the member if this is what she read so we were all clear.

In the meantime, I think you mentioned that it came from NG's show, of which, CLEARED up the mystery of where the information came from.

Respectfully, all I asked is if we use Greg, indicate NG. So many members, including myself scan through posts to catch up, and don't always connect Greg to NG or perhaps a Greg to LE to know where the information is coming from.

Many of us catch certain words as LE and think only LE made the statement.

I'm not sure I buy that the story about the 3 little girls is true. Police use the word "may" to describe the possible incident. Were the girls hyped up about the story of Isabel? Could it be a hoax? Don't attack, I'm just sharing a thought that popped into my head and won't leave.

I wondered the same thing. From what we have been told now, it just doesn't add up for me. Perhaps with more information it will become clear. Especially if they took the girl(s) for forensic examination. I heard they have gone back to Hawaii.....

Of course it's possible, but taking into consideration that these girls and their mom are from Hawaii, it seems unlikely to me to be a hoax. They wouldn't really, IMO, have a vested interest in being part of this case. I guess it would depend on how recently they came into Tucson.

As long as there was nothing else that the detectives needed from me, I would go back to Hawaii, too. Imagine taking a trip to visit your grandparents and this happening to you. I can imagine they are really traumatized. I hope the grandparents are okay, too. They must feel tremendous guilt.

Captain on NG states that at 1:48 am dispatcher got a call that there was a man in the home. The intruder was inside the girls' bedroom, molested one of the girls, and then he walked out. Then the intruder came back into the bedroom and engaged in conversation with one of the girls. After his second entrance into the bedroom, the little girl went and told her mom.

You are not the only one. If true, I think it is very significant. But something is off about the story for me at this point.

Yes, but the point is not that the father did or did not cry. The point is his voice sounded like he was crying and he had the facial expression of crying, but no tears. That makes people think he was acting. (And I still believe in these parents, but I did note that).

Okay, so I finally called my godparents in Tuscon to see what they think and the scoop, rumors, etc. They said you can't turn on the news or go in a business without seeing Isabel's face. They said they think about her all day long. They said she reminds them of their oldest granddaughter and they can't stop thinking about the case.

Their daughter is now sleeping with her kids at night out of fear (she has two adorable little girls).

They didn't really think the 3 girls ten miles away is connected.

One of them knows someone who knows Becky Celis very well and she speaks incredibly highly of her. She is well thought of. They don't think the family fits the profile of a family who would be involved. They found mom's emotions to seem more typical of a parent of a missing child when she gave her statement but Dad came across as somewhat disingenuous, too cool.

When I asked about rumors in town, they said there are tons of rumors floating around, about drug involvement and drug cartels, that the older son may be into drugs and someone took Isabel to teach them a lesson of some sort.

My godmother has a strong gut instinct that Isabel is close by. She prays she is not in a grave close by, however, but alive.

They both seemed very sad about what happened and it seems like it's really weighing on their minds.

Maybe it was not a hoax, but a mistake?
Prepare for boring story: All the granddaughters in my family stayed at Babushka's and Dedoolya's home for many days each summer. Their home was very different from most of ours and it was isolated in the boonies. None of us slept very well if we got any sleep at all on most nights.

Almost every night during one visit we thought we saw someone walking around outside the house. We woke up Dedoolya and he walked around the house looking for the "man". Finally, Dedoolya got a puppy to protect us. Instead of looking out the window for boogey men, we began fighting over whose turn it was to sleep with the smelly puppy. We didn't see any more boogey men outside.

Same here. Wouldn't LE want them to be available to identify a possible perp who is apprehended based on the description provided by the girls? :waitasec:

If I was in another state where something like that happened, I'd be hightailing it back to my "safe" home as soon as LE gave me the okay. I wouldn't exactly stick around in the house that had already been broken into once, particularly if I had my children's safety in mind.

About the crying thing....

I have been known to cry with no tears. Don't know why, sometimes it just happens. Also, mild to severe dehydration will cause no tears as well. Just something to think about.
