If someone can find out his location in late June of 2009 and it’s in Washington then I will submit the tip to the email provided.

It appears he may have been incarcerated that year, not seeing an address.

I feel so horrible for these families. For a short time I suspected her father but deep down I knew he didn’t do this. RIP Isa and Maribel.

This article really goes into detail. I’ve snipped a few.
It took federal, state and local authorities more than five years to connect Clements to Isabel’s death, and to the death of 13-year-old Maribel Gonzalez, whose body was discovered in June 2014 a few days after she disappeared after leaving her east-side home.

On the morning of April 21, 2012, Isabel’s father, Sergio Celis, called Tucson police to say his daughter was missing from her bedroom.

Clements appeared to lay low for the next several years, but in late April 2014, he filed for divorce from his estranged wife in Oregon. Roughly a month later, on June 3, Maribel Gonzalez left her home to visit a friend. Her body was discovered after three days, near where Isabel’s remains would be discovered years later.

Case filings in Clements’ divorce proceeding show a letter from Casey’s Backhoe Services in Chandler, Arizona, likely verifying Clements’ employment. More recent court filings show that Clements owes $20,542 in back child support stemming from a 2014 court order out of Oregon.

What if he was just “DRIVING” through McCleary though? Like would if he didn’t live there and was driving through McCleary to find a target and spotted Lindsey walking by herself. The circumstances surrounding her abduction matches up with maribel Gonzales’s abduction and murder.

I suspect a man Tim Hartman is the one who killed Lindsey but I’m still trying to consider other possibilities.

Sorry guys, didn't mean to preempt the thread with talk about Lindsey, it appears you all know CMC was incarcerated in June 2009.

I seem to remember from Kyron's case that Oregon court records aren't online. Do Corrections or Probation Departments have searchable records online? Do we have his date of birth so we can exclude others in our searches?

I think even though years later the forensic experts could find evidence showing if either or both victims were there. I have seen them find hidden evidence even decades old.

Are there any more missing children in the general area since 2014? His pattern thus far seems to happen about every 2 years. Isa..in April 2012 and Maribel in June of 2014. Was he locked up in 2016 around this same time of the year?

It will be interesting to learn why he moved around so much and if there were other children assaulted or worse during the same time period and the cases remain unsolved

No one just wakes up one day in 2012 and decides they are going to become a serial kidnapper..pedophile rapist and murderer.

This may become another case of 'count the victims and count the bodies. So many times predators like him will never tell what all they have done. They gloat over the power and control it gives them over the grieving families that longs for answers and justice too.

Imo

On March, 31, 2017, Police Chief Chris Magnus held a news conference and said the remains of Isabel Celis had been found in a rural area of Pima County.

He also said it wasn’t happenstance they found her but wouldn’t elaborate.

In May of 2017, News 4 Tucson obtained a copy of the case summary report dated March 3rd.

That was just a few weeks prior to Chief Magnus announcement and the date matches the date of death listed on flyers handed out at Isabel Celis Memorial.

The report said an unidentified man somehow involved in the investigation said he was afraid for his family following TPD’s announcement.

Another report showed that an unidentified man was questioned regarding the death of Celis.

He adamantly denied any involvement, and it is not known if he is still under investigation.

In October of 2017 a heavily redacted autopsy report showed Isabel’s death was a homicide, but how she died still remains a mystery.

Question still pose on who exactly led authorities to the rural area, and what else that person knows remains unanswered.” Updated April 2018

Magnus and other officials held a news conference to announce the indictment. But they declined to answer questions from reporters and did not disclose how the girls died or what prompted authorities to investigate Clements in the killings, except to say that the FBI in 2017 learned Clements might have information about the death of Celis.

He then provided information to authorities that led to the discovery of Celis’ remains, Magnus said. Investigators later discovered additional pieces of evidence on Sept. 15—but they did not describe what they had found.

Clements had already been in a Phoenix-area jail for more than a year facing other charges when the indictment was issued.

Pima County Attorney Barbara LaWall called the identification of Clements as the killer of the girls “long overdue.”

I tried to search Oregon court records but the website is down for maintenance. I'll try again tomorrow.

Also, the Florida sex offenders website gave an alias of Damion James Johnson so be sure to include that in your searches.

I haven't seen anything definitive that he was in jail. He kept getting arrested for failing to register as a sex offender so the gaps in his addresses may be for times he failed to register, rather than times he was in jail. I will keep looking. I would submit the tip for Lindsey anyway. I think back to the Joseph Duncan case where he ended up confessing to the murder of Anthony Martinez in CA and Sammiejo White and Carmen Cubias in WA. He wasn't on anyone's radar for any of those cases. I still think Duncan has many more crimes that he won't admit to too.

“Clements made his first court appearance Saturday morning. He does not yet have an attorney but will be assigned one at a Sept. 24 arraignment.

Clements was being held on a $2 million bond, Tucson Police Sgt. Pete Dugan said.

Clements was jailed in April 2017 on suspicion of burglary, theft and fraudulent schemes, Maricopa County Sheriff's Sgt. Bryant Vanegas said Saturday. Vanegas did not have information about when Clements might be transferred to southern Arizona to face charges in the case of the girl's killings.”

I really want Lindsey’s murder to be solved soon! Every person of interest named in her case was proven to be in McCleary on the night of her abduction and murder. I don’t know which person could have possibly been involved. I hope that Lindsey’s case is solved before her 21st birthday

absolutely shocking. I want the details.

Clements was charged and convicted in Oregon in 1998 of sex-related crimes and was required to register as a sex offender. He was charged and convicted in 2006 in Bay City, Florida, for failing to register, according to Florida law enforcement records.

He was also charged in 2008 in Tucson with failing to register as a sex offender. He was convicted and sentenced to serve 46 months in prison and five years of supervised release

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed that sentence in 2011, finding that the federal law requiring him to register as a sex offender within three days of moving to a new home was passed after his 1998 conviction and therefore did not apply to his crime.
