Me neither, did it get shut down?

That one seems to be gone too. I don't really mind though - there was an awful lot of talk about donations and frankly I don't understand people jumping the gun to give money to those involved before the investigation is complete. PayPal refunded money to people who donated to Ross Harris but I don't think it's going to do that everytime a fund gets set up prematurely.

The voices for Bella page is still up.

Ok, then who is SW? The older sibling was living with her last year, anyone know who I am talking about?

I do. I thought she lived out of state but maybe not.

It's gone. I also can't get to the Bring Bella Home FB page...did that go poof too?

I got a notification in my email that the page was being made *secret*. I can still access it however...

So is the "Justice for Bella" page. I do not know that one would like to peruse it though. It is similar to how the BBH page was before they got control of it...while reading it, you feel like you have fallen down the rabbit hole!

I can only imagine the possible misuse of any funds collected with this group...jmo
Would be better, Imo, if a funeral home donated services and fees, with zero cash changing hands.

I just checked my guide and NG will be rebroadcast at 11:00 PM on FiOS on the West Coast. Typically video isn't available for her entire show, but transcripts are the next day. Will ETA with the link for the home page (and will post the show's transcript as soon as it's available).

----
ETA: here is the link to NG's transcript homepage:

The most recent show is 9/3/14.

-------will be watching here in CA. It's 10:50pm, 10 more minutes.

I set my DVR, but I've been up for 36 hours. I'm telling myself I'm going to stay up & try to transcribe my myself, but I know better. The CNN transcript will likely be up before my alarm goes off @ 0500. :sigh:

I agree, and as a matter of fact I recently learned that many funeral homes offer greatly reduced or even free services for child victims. Furthermore, most states have Victim Compensation Programs that cover funeral expenses and more. Here's what Arizona offers:

The Crime Victim Compensation Program can cover crime-related expenses for:
Medical Costs
Mental Health Counseling (up to $5,000)
Funerals (up to $10,000)
Wage Loss / Loss of Support
Crime Scene Clean-up (up to $2,000)
Some Transportation Costs (up to $1,500)

http://www.azcjc.gov/ACJC.Web/victim/VictComp.aspx

That pretty much covers everything. I understand that people want to help but I wish they'd wait until all the facts are in.

I've been tracking online funding for families of child victims for the past three months and in two cases the parents set up an additional private fund and solicited donations on their social media. There's something disheartening about parents benefitting financially from the death of their child and I worry that one day it will become yet another motive for getting rid of an unwanted child.

The out of state dad was asking for funds to help with the funeral on the fb page that is gone now.

He should be in touch with victims services at his local PD for instructions on who to contact in his local community - Red Cross, Salvation Army comes to mind

correct me if I haven't got this right but isn't he located in ID? would only be 12 hr drive so less than $100 he can greyhound to BHC

Hey he could use this month's child support that he won't be paying for that ticket

You're correct across the board.

I'd have to double check but I believe most states have liason people in place to assist family members of victims. Admittedly it's a stressful time so there may be some lag while family is trying to connect with those who can help. But yes, a bus ticket isn't expensive and he can be reimbursed for it anyway.

if his cleared is a result of him being in the military there would be a way that his transportation would be covered (chaplain would help him with that)

if his ''cleared'' is a probation matter they possibly might help him with that too -- they have connections with community services so this whole thing is spin doctoring for him needing money -

This is in no way a reflection of what the mom & BF might have been doing, but for some it is a time for less crowded shopping and a break from the heat. Getting meat and dairy home in that heat is a challenge. For some normal families, if a Responsible Grandparent is at home it would be a time for a mom & dad to make a more relaxed grocery run. Not saying that this applies in this situation of course

That's what ice chests are for....

I am one of those 'mean' moms who preferred to shop without entourage of children.
Getting that ice cream home during triple digits is a huge challenge.

Good points; I hadn't considered them. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now since he wasn't around when all this went down. Still, it just seems sort of wrong to see the hand looking for money. There's another family member on social media doing the same.

And I see on the Justice for Bella FB site they're talking about NG. Sounds like a rehash of what was posted here earlier.

I must confess I had a very ''visceral'' reaction -- not good one --- reminded me of C (bio mom of Sylar Newton) like geee -- ''sudden interest'' or what (sorry folks it just hits my buttons the wrong way). Sylar's mom if you recall benefitted $$ grrrr after giving her baby to druggies who ended up killing him on camping trip at Cottonwood AZ
