I know somebody like TG. She has spent her life talking her way out of things, coming up with excuses for things, changing the way things happened, and most of the time it worked. I know LE believed her sometimes because she was so outraged by accusations, and she didn't hand slap, but she would stutter and look incredulous. When she was caugh red-handed stealing a riding mower from her cousin, she said it was HERS, and the borrowed it. Would I be stupid enough to come here in broad daylight and load up a mower that wasn't mine?? I see this in TG. It becomes an art. Since she actually sees nothing wrong with her exposing her children to this life, she is totally befuddled. She didn't give her kids drugs, and they were clothed and fed. Mother's job is done. Just my O!

But the other adult was in a different part of the house and supposedly in bed sleeping.

And apparently that other adult was a very sound sleeper since we've been told by TG and her own son that she was still asleep during the 911 call...

Meaning she slept through the supposed 40 minute search of the residence, TG's reported wailing, and apparently enough so that they didn't rouse her to question her and if she saw/heard anything.

Seems odd to me to consider a (heavily) sleeping adult as someone supervising two elementary age kids who were known to be awake in a different part of the house from 11 pm -1 am ish...

Which, of course, is also problematic since initially it said that the 10 year old actually woke/talked to the 'grandmother' before calling her mom.

I wonder how the girls did in school if it was apparently not out of the norm for them to be up till 1 am on a school night watching movies unsupervised?

Having taught for years, it was easy to tell if any of the kids had even just been up a bit later than normal. Most would have been an utter mess if they'd been up till 1 or 2 am (as the adults have admitted they returned home from their 90+ minute 'snack run' when they did only because of the phone call from the 10 yr old...)
So by that token, they did not even check grandma's room or ask if she'd seen Bella before calling 911............ right? So they knew when making the 911 call that Bella was not inside the house anywhere, so why bother looking in gran's room? Did I catch all that ?

thank you

my take : outrageously offensive to create defense (TG) that old football expression great defense good offense ((hope I got that cliché right -- don't mean to offend sports fans))

Could a mod or someone that knows let me know if this is allowed? Is Tania's Facebook allowed to be talked on about on here?
No, WillenFan. Her FB is off limits.

It says the sister notified RF's mother, then called her mother.

I don't think it was implied she bore responsibility, I think the implication is that depending on who TG or RF talks to, G'ma consciousness levels vary. If the sister reported her sister being missing to g'ma, it seems likely g'ma was awake when the folks rushed home to look for Bella. But not according to RF's statements to 911.

;)You got it!

How does the 10 year old know about the text message in the first place? SOMEONE had to tell her-and the daughter was the one who told everyone else that Isabella was with jjr because she saw them together. I think she was repeating what the mom told her and the mom was caught in a lie (sorry-another lie) and now blaming the daughter. Agree about the fb messages--I read some of them myself. Just not sure the timing works with the timing of the crime and arrests--but he certainly had access to fb to post after he was "cleared".....

I wish the FB messages were allowed as I'm quite sure they would be eye-openers for some who seem to have their blinders on. Thank you for bringing this to our attention :)

ugh - what a sad mess!

Don't mean to sound cold, but the man is *maybe* a step parent, quite possibly just the mom's boyfriend. He has no bio attachment to the child. He couldn't remember what her name was when speaking to the 911 operator, nor, it seems, her birth date. I can't see a judge granting a continuance--due to the memorial-- considering his lack of relation and his charges.

Gah, I just read the 911 transcript again, and am enraged anew at his response in this portion of the exchange:

911: Okay, I'm going to have units coming over there to see if we can assist you finding the child. Is there any place else where she might go?

RF: I haven't the slightest clue. We have a giant park across the street from us and the soccer fields and all that. And there is a whole bunch of river access and stuff like that.

911: Okay, does she ever go down to the river?

RF: She usually doesn't leave by herself, that's why its a little odd

But you do have a clue, RF. And you know she didn't leave by herself. What's odd is the fact you mention none of this at a time when your 'step daughter' may have still been alive, and still had her shorts on. What's odd is that LE had to get this information from the youngest person remaining in the house that night. :furious:

Re: the alleged text message we've all read was sent to "family members" from JRR admitting he had Bella, and asking "what are you going to do about it". I find this statement from TG's mom to Nancy Grace rather illuminating:

"They took her, they took her. I won't do anything bad anymore. They got Bella"

Let's assume for a moment, the text message was real exactly as Bella's sister said it was. None of us know what the entire message was. Assuming there was a threat made it makes the bolded section above make SO much sense.

Why else would TG call her own mom (who according to TG was never a mother to her) and say "I wont do anything bad anymore" ??

And my next question is, why of all people would TG call her mom, who was never a mother to her, and tell HER, she won't do anything bad anymore?

I'm not implying a thing here but in cases of child abuse where the child is being hurt or threatened it's not at all uncommon for some children to cry out the very same statement, hoping to appease their abuser. I just can't shake the wording of that comment.

My thoughts on TGs relationship with her mom is that her mother tried to keep her on the straight and narrow and TG resented it. If my adult child was being a neglectful mom I'd tell her "let me have my grandchild or I'm calling CPS." This would probably make the daughter very resentful but probably oblige as CPS is a pretty scary process for both the parent and the children. I think she called her mom because usually her mom can 'fix' things for her. She bargains like a little child to the one person TG can always count on if her world goes upside down but hates her for it too as her mom sees through her and expects her to do better.

TG = master manipulator

setting it up for a pity party and potential swoop for 10 yr old -- video showed GM hugging and being supportive of 10 yr old....TG was lining up first of her many ducks

at about 2:30 in this video of interview taking place in their kitchen (TG) I hear a dog yelping/yapping......so on top of all this ....there's a dog who may have alerted someone?? A man leaving with a child - pup would have been yapping ((ask neighbors))

But if the dog is used to seeing JR come and go, what would make him alert this time? Flip side, if the dog yaps no matter who's coming or going, it would become white noise. White noise that would make me want to poke my eyes out, as a resident OR neighbor, but white noise all the same.

I was surprised to hear it on interview video....thought perhaps 10 yr old may have heard dog whining as Bella & JR left ((mine would have in the past -- scampered to the door to come with and be disappointed and whimper whine)) JMO

Maybe it was at Wal-Mart helping to pick out snacks? ;)

So sorry, 2Hope4. ((((Hugs to you))) No matter what, it seems like we blame ourselves, but please do not be so hard on yourself. Things happen so quick. Thoughts are with you.

I'm sure everybody has been just dying to know what I think about this case, but I'm going to tell you anyway!:fence::laughing: I don't necessarily think there have been as many lies and story changes as most people seem to. My thoughts are:

JR told people he was leaving, and walked outside.

He then sneaked back inside and hid in the girl's bedroom.

When the girls saw him there, he told them not to tell anyone because they were playing hide and seek.

The parents came down, told the girls to get ready and go to bed, and then left for WM.

The sister may have gone to the grandmother's room and woke her up to say she couldn't find them, and she may have just said to call her mother and gone back to sleep. Many older people have trouble sleeping and take medication that can help them sleep through a lot.

When the sister told TG she couldn't find Bella or JR, they assumed she just didn't know he had already left before they did.

If they had been partying that night, TG may have been a bit high and/or drunk. When she said "they" took her, she may have thought CPS had taken her because of what they'd done earlier or for leaving her there with only a sleeping grandmother for supervision.

It's possible that all of these statements are true, and it's possible that none of them are. Because I don't know which is the case, I'm once more hung up on this stupid fence. MOO
