Oh, I remember!Yep, I followed that case as well and you are totally correct, very similar.

bbm: that is what the nation heard.....((thanks NG)) and I am pretty sure LE has that conversation etched on their notepads because it was at the beginning of the saga...immediate statements reveal much JMHO
in a perfect world we would have a reporter LIVE feed as he asks TG : "who is the they you were referencing in your first call to your mother" MOO
I have a suspicion from the 911 call and later news video of him calm in the face of TGs grief but looking around hyper vigilantly that RF is very controlling. When the 911 operator asked who was there RF said his mom 'was sleeping so...' (soooo... what? don't ask to talk to her?) and when asked about the mom 'she is upstairs distraught.' He seemed to be controlling who gave info. He really doesn't sit right with me.
I remember the video where she said I was asleep I shouldn't have been perhaps but I was ((I truly felt sorry for her as she looked genuinely embarrassed about it)) MOO
Notified, but did she awaken? I get the impression she didn't, and that's why the child called her mom. JMO
Or she could have been doing a little bit of housekeeping. He was being a good boy and doing what he was told to do. (MOO)
The bio parent (ma) should have been making phone call IMO --
Was she upstairs distraught or was she driving around the neighborhood....or walking street calling out daughter's name with flashlights looking In yards??
whole thing is hinky to me --
he doesn't look controlling to me -- he is backgrounder to her --- a prop JMHO
It sounds like she was asleep until Bella's sister woke her to tell her Bella and JR were missing. I don't know why RF told 911 she was still sleeping.
Bella's grandma that night: "I was here when it happened…I was sleeping…I should have been awake…I shouldn’t have went to sleep." @12News

Can't help but think that the Grandmother was told to say that she was asleep throughout everything.

I agree that the step-GM is not responsible for the events that transpired that night and that she is genuinely and deservedly remorseful.Do we have a link for this?
Or perhaps she took sleep medication, or worked all week/weekend and was exhausted. Maybe she's simply a very sound sleeper.
Let's lay off of the step-grandmother. She gave a brief statement on camera and appeared genuinely remorseful, blaming herself for being asleep.
I haven't seen anything that says she was asked to babysit, or that she even was awake when TG and RF left the house. On the contrary. She's bears no responsibility, IMO.
Think about it, if you are asleep, you don't see anything, hear anything or know anything.
Maybe she is following the instructions by LE to not speak to the media about the case. It may turn out to show that she provided LE an accurate accounting of her activities that evening.or wisely is just playing her cards close to her vest at this point -- let the young ones take their knocks as they should - they made the mess let them deal with it and LE -- I do not think she's obstructing at all JMHO
One glance at RF's facebook will let you know if he is controlling or not. I am curious whose house it is that they live in. RF's mom's?? a rental?? The overlap of all the people involved gets confusing.
JMO, from the body language displayed by the couple in interviews, I would be inclined to suggest TG is the controlling one. I don't see anyone being able to control her - Even LE can't get her to shut up.1. I do not believe that TG wanted to make the 911 call
2. I am not really sure she was even in the house at that point
JMHO
If Bella was found wrapped in a blanket when found, then she was also in her bed, but that's yet to be determined.
some people are deep sleepers....and we don't know if she has hearing aids ((that could explain it for some folks)) again I don't ''know'' -- just what was in MSM video for me
for me even as a deep sleeper if the wailing banshee high decibelled TG was within a mile of sleeping me -- heck ya I'd be bolt awake.....so I do know where you're coming from
I was told that my daughter made a statement to (the Daily News) and you (reporters) took it out of proportion, that there was a text message,” Grogan said. “Well, you know what? She’s 10 years old, under a lot of stress right now, and she doesn’t know what the heck she’s saying.
11 pm is pretty late for a lot of ' seniors'. I have no reason to think gran was not asleep as she said . She may even use earplugs to drown out the noise if folks are often up and around until the wee hours in that house.
“How would Justin even have had a phone? Because the FBI had my phone and there wasn’t a text message. I just want that to be clear.
