bbm: that is what the nation heard.....((thanks NG)) and I am pretty sure LE has that conversation etched on their notepads because it was at the beginning of the saga...immediate statements reveal much JMHO

in a perfect world we would have a reporter LIVE feed as he asks TG : "who is the they you were referencing in your first call to your mother" MOO

Yep, kinda like in the Haleigh Cummings case when Misty was asked about the missing blanket and she said 'it was in the van that "they" took'.:banghead:

I have a suspicion from the 911 call and later news video of him calm in the face of TGs grief but looking around hyper vigilantly that RF is very controlling. When the 911 operator asked who was there RF said his mom 'was sleeping so...' (soooo... what? don't ask to talk to her?) and when asked about the mom 'she is upstairs distraught.' He seemed to be controlling who gave info. He really doesn't sit right with me.

He was being a good boy and doing what he was told to do. (MOO)
The bio parent (ma) should have been making phone call IMO --
Was she upstairs distraught or was she driving around the neighborhood....or walking street calling out daughter's name with flashlights looking In yards??

whole thing is hinky to me --

he doesn't look controlling to me -- he is backgrounder to her --- a prop JMHO

I remember the video where she said I was asleep I shouldn't have been perhaps but I was ((I truly felt sorry for her as she looked genuinely embarrassed about it)) MOO

Can't help but think that the Grandmother was told to say that she was asleep throughout everything.

Notified, but did she awaken? I get the impression she didn't, and that's why the child called her mom. JMO

It sounds like she was asleep until Bella's sister woke her to tell her Bella and JR were missing. I don't know why RF told 911 she was still sleeping.

Bella's grandma that night: "I was here when it happened…I was sleeping…I should have been awake…I shouldn’t have went to sleep." @12News

Or she could have been doing a little bit of housekeeping.

Think about it, if you are asleep, you don't see anything, hear anything or know anything.

or wisely is just playing her cards close to her vest at this point -- let the young ones take their knocks as they should - they made the mess let them deal with it and LE -- I do not think she's obstructing at all JMHO

<modsnip> I am curious whose house it is that they live in. RF's mom's?? a rental?? The overlap of all the people involved gets confusing.

Do we have a link for this?

Or perhaps she took sleep medication, or worked all week/weekend and was exhausted. Maybe she's simply a very sound sleeper.

Let's lay off of the step-grandmother. She gave a brief statement on camera and appeared genuinely remorseful, blaming herself for being asleep.

I haven't seen anything that says she was asked to babysit, or that she even was awake when TG and RF left the house. On the contrary. She's bears no responsibility, IMO.
I agree that the step-GM is not responsible for the events that transpired that night and that she is genuinely and deservedly remorseful.

I do however, hold her accountable as I hold other family members accountable, for allowing children to be in a home with violent felons and most likely drug use. It is any decent, caring person's responsibility to inform CPS, LE or other family members, that there are children at risk. Children do not have a voice and they count on the people that care for them and love them to ensure their safety and well-being.

It should not take the murder of a child to say, I should have done something. IMO.

some people are deep sleepers....and we don't know if she has hearing aids ((that could explain it for some folks)) again I don't ''know'' -- just what was in MSM video for me

for me even as a deep sleeper if the wailing banshee high decibelled TG was within a mile of sleeping me -- heck ya I'd be bolt awake.....so I do know where you're coming from

Maybe she is following the instructions by LE to not speak to the media about the case. It may turn out to show that she provided LE an accurate accounting of her activities that evening.

One glance at RF's facebook will let you know if he is controlling or not. I am curious whose house it is that they live in. RF's mom's?? a rental?? The overlap of all the people involved gets confusing.

1. I do not believe that TG wanted to make the 911 call
2. I am not really sure she was even in the house at that point
JMHO

If Bella was found wrapped in a blanket when found, then she was also in her bed, but that's yet to be determined.

JMO, from the body language displayed by the couple in interviews, I would be inclined to suggest TG is the controlling one. I don't see anyone being able to control her - Even LE can't get her to shut up.

good catch!

that will be a telling clue won't it......

11 pm is pretty late for a lot of ' seniors'. I have no reason to think gran was not asleep as she said . She may even use earplugs to drown out the noise if folks are often up and around until the wee hours in that house.

I was told that my daughter made a statement to (the Daily News) and you (reporters) took it out of proportion, that there was a text message,” Grogan said. “Well, you know what? She’s 10 years old, under a lot of stress right now, and she doesn’t know what the heck she’s saying.

http://www.mohavedailynews.com/news...cle_94681350-34d0-11e4-b9e5-0019bb2963f4.html

TG just continues to dig herself a deeper hole.

Ignoring that discrediting the one person who was awake and present (essentially) when Bella was last seen AND went missing is going to decrease any minimal public sympathy she (TG) has at this point, none of what she (or her 'crew') says makes any sense.

The 10 yr old's account is the one thing that is currently placing TG (etc) out of the house when Bella went missing. Presumably Walmart video will either confirm or deny that - along with the timeline - but really, it's only the 10 yr old who has actually KEPT TG etc 'off the hook' really in terms of not having been there.

The more she raises questions over the 10 year old's credibility, the more that she's bordering on implicating herself more. And again, of course losing sympathy by dissing the one person who is probably dealing with the most guilt since there's no doubt she's got people commenting about if she'd only not gone to the bathroom them or whatever that maybe it'd not have happened. Obviously I do NOT think that's the case, but given the nonsense being spewed, there's no doubt people were saying things along those lines.

Then there's the issue that CPS got involved very quickly. How does mom even know how stressed she is or what she is or is not even saying at this point? The 10 year old isn't even with her!

And while I'm sure that's in part because of safety concerns and the necessary investigation, there's little doubt it was also done to prevent her testimony from being impacted by the group of liars she's been surrounded with.

LE has got to love her "media tour"...for those who wondered why obstruction charges hadn't been possibly filed, I still think they are going to let her continue to talk because it's only making things worse for herself and she's sure looking like she's going to implicate herself beyond possibly 'just' possible obstruction charges.

Frankly I also think they knew as soon as they said not to talk to media that they knew she'd go out and do just that. She CLEARLY thinks she's above the law AND smarter than they are.

If they really didn't want her to talk, they'd have done something after the first (or second or third or...) interviews.

ummm I get the feeling this grandma is not that old. I haven't seen any interviews with her - just the reporter's tweet. I am guessing she is wise enough to stay out of the media spotlight.

“How would Justin even have had a phone? Because the FBI had my phone and there wasn’t a text message. I just want that to be clear.

As for the phone bit, yet another example of her digging herself a deeper hole AND continuing her semantics game.

She (at least - and likely others) had her phone when this all happened, and at least for some length of time afterward (and for that matter the FBI weren't even there in the earliest hours, plus LE virtually never confiscates phones within the first minutes of a missing person's case...)

And, as several have said there WAS obviously at least one phone in the house since the 10 year old called them - and frankly I'd be shocked if there weren't more phones beyond possibly just one (whether that phone belonged to one of the girls, the 'grandmother,' JJR, or even was a landline)

And everyone who's followed the story knows he was posting on FB - more than once - after being released after first being picked up at 3 something am. So he was able to send/post/create messages in some form at least post-questioning (if not before as well)

Does she really think people have forgotten that? Or that everyone else will be as hung up on whether it was a text message or an email or a chat message, etc?

Heck, isn't SnapChat the thing where you can send messages (or is it videos? Or both?) that you can have disappear afterward?

Something like THAT would seem like a very plausible way to have sent such a message... (not that you can't also set emails to self-destruct once read, but it seems like that new thing is really easy b/c it seems to be an issue with teens)
