This was what I said previously...I don't think they're trying to find out IF she was assaulted, I think they're trying to find out BY HOW MANY.

I really hope that is not true!

I keep thinking about the rumor on the fb pages that TG posted regarding JRs DNA being under Bella's fingernails. I highly doubt this is based on fact but it seems a weird thing to throw out there from nowhere. Hope this is ok to reference I'm sure we've all seen it by now.
Well they are due in court today wonder what this will bring.
The drugs charges kind of remind me of the Haleigh Cummings case in a way.

Crabsticks! I was looking at the wrong judges calendar. I was going by this

"Since the three defendants are witnesses in Rector’s murder case, Deputy Yavapai County Attorney Steve Sisneros will prosecute Grogan, Folster and Nicholson in their drug cases. They will be arraigned Oct. 31 after which their drug cases will be heard by Superior Court Commissioner Derek Carlisle."

Big math problem: each charge 5 yrs to 15 yrs.......With the burglary ring charges still being unresolved looks like RF is facing a rent free existence for a long time.

TG is going to be doing a lot of angry hand slapping -- 5 to 15 yrs for EACH count ---

Is anyone willing to bet why RF married TG? ...and I'm not talking 'spouse can not testify against spouse' crapola, either.

I don't think it was anything nefarious. I think they share addictions and made a quickie decision to get married while high and in the moment.

looks like a hearing is set for today on this matter

it was only a couple of weeks ago or so that there was a request for a mental evaluation too remember?? The lawyer said that JR wasn't doing too well and that there had been threats on his life.

Given the number of people ''against'' him, is it really wise NOT to have an attorney especially since DP is still ''possible''??
Very odd -- MOO

Listed below are possible reasons JJR requested for self-representation:

  • Some defendants who are in jail awaiting trial can gain privileges through self-representation, such as access to the jail's law library.
  • Self-represented defendants are not bound by lawyers' ethical codes. This means that a defendant who represents himself can delay proceedings and sometimes wreak havoc on an already overloaded system by repeatedly filing motions. However, this approach is not recommended because it often backfires.

I wonder if a public defender recommended it to him or, is JJR completely brain-fried and distrusting of lawyers?

Maybe .... only SWAG (silly guess) but could it be that JR has decided to plead guilty after all? against his lawyer's advice??

What in the heck is going on ? I mean you see these people who occasionally defend themselves and it always fails but they are generally mature, educated types who are probably several IQ points higher than J. Circus, circus !

Maybe his lawyer recommended he plead guilty and that didn't sit well with him...
