Found Deceased AZ - Jerold Williams, 5, Jacob Lake, 6 Aug 2015

OK. So maybe he walked 8 miles by road. A 5 yr old is easily able to walk 8 miles.
I don't think one should comment if one hasn't read the story. Here is the story. //www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona/breaking/2015/08/11/missing-jacob-lake-boy-found-dead-exposure/31473877/ He did indeed walk out of the brush and find the FR 240.

The list of agencies is extensive as is the number of volunteers. The FBI doesnt come out unless a crime has been committed.

This is one of those times where you really need a supporting link. Particularly regarding the assertion about the FBI.

I did supply a link below. I'm just going to say what I think happened to him. Punishment , rite of passage, I don't know the reason why, but IMO this little boy was taken a certain distance away from camp and left to find his way back on his own. When he didn't return within a certain amount of time SAR was called. Like I said this is just a theory I have. Something untoward happened to that little boy that day! I feel it in my heart that he was done wrong!!

No, a link to something supporting that the FBI doesn't get involved unless a crime was committed. Like, something I can click that takes me to a credible source stating, "the FBI only..." (modsnip)
Additionally, you need to provide a link to the image you provide above.

The FLDS aren't known for vision quests or wilderness survival of the 10-year old hikes. And why the deuce would they even call anybody at all if that was the case? Sometimes horrible things happen and no one is actually to blame.

I'm glad you're still here, but if you believe it is a closed case why are you still here?

"That includes aggressively investigating and working to prevent hate crime,"

From https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/civilrights

Crime prevention happens before a crime, by design...

"The FBI doesn’t just solve cases and prevent attacks. We also provide a range of services and resources to our many partners and to the general public."

From https://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/fbi-resources

"The FBI’s investigative philosophy emphasizes close relations and information sharing with other federal, state, local, and international law enforcement and intelligence agencies. A significant number of FBI investigations are conducted in concert with other law enforcement agencies or as part of joint task forces."

From https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/faqs

I came back over when I saw the thread moving again. I stayed because I'm somewhat incredulous.

Percentage of Mormons in Utah (Malachi) = 63% http://www.sltrib.com/news/1842825-155/mormon-populace-picks-up-the-pace
Idaho (DeOrr) = state with second most percentage of Mormons in the nation. http://www.ktvb.com/story/news/local/2014/07/02/12095125/
The Mormon population in the U.S. is heavily concentrated in the West (76%).http://www.pewforum.org/2009/07/24/a-portrait-of-mormons-in-the-us/
Arizona (Jerold) = Jerold was not LDS. (But Arizona has a very high LDS population as well).

May we add these people to the list of those who went missing at campgrounds this summer:

1. 2 year old boy with autism went missing from a campground at Sublette IL. He was found drowned. I found nothing to indicate foul play or a connection to LDS: http://kwqc.com/2015/08/03/boy-with-autism-drowns-at-lee-county-campground/

2. 13 year old Damon Cote went missing while camping in Orleans county VT. He was found safe and I've found no evidence of foul play nor connection to LDS. http://www.wcax.com/story/29476642/police-search-for-teen-who-disappeared-while-camping

3. Three adult sisters were found safe after going missing form a Wyoming campground. I've found no evidence of foul play nor connection to LDS. http://wgntv.com/2015/07/08/search-...sters-missing-in-wyoming-during-camping-trip/

4. 19 year old found dead in a pond after going missing from a campsite in Arlington, IN. I've found no evidence of foul play nor connection to LDS. http://www.rushvillerepublican.com/...cle_795f4d83-e886-502c-9b5b-8097a1e23dfd.html http://wishtv.com/2015/06/22/missing-rushville-teen-found-in-pond-near-arlington-campgrounds/

5. A dad and 2 kids found safe after missing for two days from a campground in Sierra County, CA. No connection to LDS and no evidence of foul play found: http://www.abc10.com/story/news/local/2015/05/07/search-for-dad-and-kids-in-sierra-county/70947070/

6. A 12 year old girl was found safe after being reported missing from a Lackawanna NY summer camp: http://wivb.com/2015/07/30/search-underway-for-missing-child-at-martins-fantasy-island/

7. A 34 year old man went missing from a campground in Juneau, AK and has not been found. No connection to LDS and no evidence of foul play found: http://juneauempire.com/state/2015-08-17/search-suspended-colorado-man-missing-campsite

8. An 8 year old little girl was found drowned after going missing from a campground at Cle Elum, WA. I've found no evidence of foul play nor connection to LDS. http://q13fox.com/2015/07/28/deputi...ed-in-lake-during-camp-trip-with-grandmother/

The fact of the matter is that in the summer, people camp. And so people - many of whom are young- also go missing from campsites.
That speaks more about people failing to follow basic safety protocols, underestimating he dangers and vastness of the wilderness and letting one's guard down when it comes to monitoring children when away from other people (thinking they are thus safer), than it does to any sort of conspiracy to target certain people from certain groups.

There has been zero indication of foul play of kidnapping in the cases some are trying to connect to one another. Camping is a big tradition in America, especially in the west. Many things can and do happen when people camp.
I started looking into the 3 hiking sisters. They were found very very close to the baby Deorr campsite. The girls are originally from Ahwatukee Arizona. I'm gonna have to do much research on this one now.

I'm adding the 3 sisters, Erin, Megan and Kelsi Andrews-Sharer, originally from Ahwatukee AZ, to the map just to give perspective in case others want to look into it as well. They were found the day before Deorr was reported missing. Because in my opinion this is another strange tale.

https://www.fbi.gov/fbi-search#outp...FORID:10;NB:1&ie=UTF-8&siteurl=www.fbi.gov&q= 4th dot down. FBI does not investigate all fugitives or missing persons......

From you link above:
The FBI is limited in the amount of information and photos it can provide on wanted fugitives and missing persons. We also do not investigate all fugitives or missing persons in the United States; many cases are handled by local authorities or other federal agenices.

The all is an important word in that sentence - it means they do investigate fugitives or missing persons, but not every one.

Respectfully, I have to ask why, in your opinion, this is another strange tale!? Opinions generally have reasons. Here are my reasons that there is nothing strange or conspiratorial going on:

Ahwatukee, AZ is part of Phoenix, nowhere near FLDS enclaves. They are Methodists, for the record. They recently moved to Wisconsin. They are in their teens and twenties. They were found safe. They are experienced hikers/backpackers with ample gear who apparently got lost. They were smart enough to stay put and wait to be found. These things happen. I don't see any connection between any of these cases. What are you seeing?

I have an issue with 5 of the 8 stories. Couple of the stories are so vague you gotta wonder why they were even published in the first place. I didn't see any stories relating to blond boys 10 years old or younger camping in the national forest anywhere near where our boys were. So I guess I don't get what your point is.

Gitana was making the point that children/people in general of all descriptions disappear from campgrounds all summer long, all over the country. Just because some have disappeared in several nearby states, and happen to be blond boys, means nothing. Now you've added three brunette young women to the list. Respectfully, what is your point?

Why do I have to be making a point? Can't I just make observations?

Yes, but the 'observations' are bordering dangerously close to unfounded murder accusations against the grieving victims in these cases, imo.

Well, Gitana was making observations and you said you didn't get her point. So I assumed that if you expected others to have a point to their observations, it seems fair to have a point to yours. :)

I guess this site isn't quite what I thought it would be. I was looking for a site to discuss missing persons cases away from social media so as not to offend or upset victims and their families. It seems to me most just want to wrap things up in comfortable manner and put them away.
