Shirley's talking out of both sides of her mouth now. She's finally acknowledging that Jhessye may be in the landfill, but is blaming LE for waiting so long to do the search. I think she knows the gig is up and wants to distance herself from Jerice.
Interesting comment from Shirley from the link I posted above:
~snipped~
I have to agree with that!
Shirley and her big mouth should be down in that landfill searching on her hands and knees. :furious:
Police left a landfill south of the Valley on Wednesday without finding a Glendale girl's remains, but they had reason to be optimistic.
Officers sifting through trash on the third day of the search found mail and newspapers marked with the same date that investigators believe 5-year-old Jhessye Shockley's body was disposed in a Tempe trash bin, said Sgt. Brent Coombs, a Glendale police spokesman.
The items also appeared to come from the right area of the Valley, he said. "It's very encouraging."

Glendale Police say they have reached an area they call the high probability zone in their search for 5-year-old Jhessye Shockley at a landfill south of the Valley.
Wednesday was the third day of the search at the Butterfield Landfill near Mobile, Ariz.
Its an area where officers have found newspapers and other paperwork from the day Jhessye went missing nearly four months ago.
ABC15 sources also say officers may not be looking for a body exactly, but a container that may be hiding a body.

http://www.kpho.com/story/16774227/...fill-search-for-body-of-missing-glendale-girlGlendale police told CBS 5 News they have found newspapers dated just days before they believe the little girl's body was dumped.
They also said Wednesday's weather was ideal and helped them keep their hopes up.
They said they took some of the top layer off because they believe Shockley's body might be in an 8- to 12-foot section under the top.
it does sound very promising... also from the abc15 link I posted (for some reason I didn't get the whole sentence)... they said container or "suitcase"..
I think they know more about this "suitcase" as it has been mentioned in the past...
I bet they have a good idea exactly what they are looking for....
