If I was an abused child and my grandmother had given me back to the abuser in the first place, I'm not so sure I would turn to her for help if I wanted to confide in someone. I might choose someone who, in my experience, wasn't on the abuser's side by definition.

Better yet I would have liked the host of the show to play hard ball. It was quite frustrating to listen too. The one host who came on later in the show, seemed unwilling to take everything Shirley said at face value. She asked a few good questions.

Complete miracle the State of Arizona has any healthy, unharmed children left in it at all.

Well, there are some good parents in the state.

This (and all the recent cases) are completely over the top - all these parents who refuse to cooperate with LE, by coincidence also happen to be the last person to have seen their child and the children have just vanished off the face of the earth. Arrest the FGS!! Truth serum is not cruel or unusual punishment, let's put it to good use or offer the parents a final chance to come clean then use it if they decline. I'm so sick of this!

BTW Shirley/Susie: if you're reading here, get a clue! You and your racist rants, your daughter has hurt her children and you know it! So do we. If you really want to find Jhessye talk to Jerice.

She's also whining about being followed. Well guess what Jerice? Those people following you are law enforcement, watching your every move, knowing you will slip up eventually and lead them to Jhessye.

I am so sick of this person whining and complaining about how THEY are being treated, with no complaints or worry about their own flesh and blood. Jhessye was not some doll that can be thrown away when you get sick of her. She is a beautiful little girl, a human being, who is being consistently disrespected by her very own mother and grandmother. It just makes me want to puke.

Jhessye deserves a decent place to rest. If you have a shred of humanity left in you Jerice, do the right thing. Bring that beautiful little girl home for Christmas.

If you can't do anything else, make an anonymous call and tell where she is. She deserves that much from the mother who gave birth to her. She deserves to be buried.

Then later on it says, "Johnson also said she does not believe her daughter did anything to hurt Jhessye. She said police are wasting a lot of time focusing on Hunter and not looking for the little girl.

"They are going to hit a dead wall. Just spending more time, money, the people's money, on the wrong thing. Keep looking but you need to expand. You're wasting time, valuable time is being wasted because you want to prove yourself right," said Johnson. "

He said shortly after the arrest of the girl’s mother, Jerice Hunter, in November for child abuse, investigators received reliable information regarding Jhessye’s disappearance.

Based on the information and further investigation, police now believe Jhessye’s body was placed in a trash receptacle in Tempe, prior to her reported disappearance on Oct. 11.

Coombs said the trash from that location is removed to a transfer station and eventually taken to Butterfield Landfill south of the Valley.

Investigators have been working to determine the viability of a landfill search at the location over the last few weeks, Coombs said.

This woman can not get away with this crime! I am sick to death of family members who see abuse, sadistic abuse and do nothing and pretend that their family member didn't do the crime. It is obvious Jerice did this! She went to jail for severe child abuse. I just hope that this woman goes to jail for the horrific acts she did to precious Jhessye. I cry thinking of what this precious child went through !

Hmmm it says in that article that they think she was placed in the trash anguish in Tempe.

Glendale is approx. 30 minutes to Tempe. If Jerice doesn't have a car, how the hell did she get there???? Did someone drive her there, with a body in the car, or did she take a bus or some other form of public transportation?
