Teams from the FBI Phoenix Field Office along with members of an FBI dive team are searching in and around a pond Tuesday in McNary, Arizona, south of Pinetop.

The search is in connection with the cold-case investigation into the murder of 16-year-old Katherine Irene Tortice.

The body of Katherine "Kat" Irene Tortice was found in a shallow grave near the pond on Dec. 12, 2006. She was a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and had been missing for about a month...

Looks like a few months before she passed, her older sister also died. I haven't found the cause of death for her sister, Andrianna Rose Tortice. Their father passed away in 2011 I believe.
