But she didn't walk home.

That's understood, however we don't know her intentions. The fact that she bought the items doesn't offer a conclusive clue.

I was raised JW & left (escaped is more like it) the same age Lianna is now. My thoughts immediately went to all the reasons *I* wanted to run away (and tried several times unsuccessfully) that were directly related to that particular religious aspect of my life but I wasn't sure if it could be discussed.
But she didn't walk home.

Right. Her walk was interrupted, and she did not make it home that day.....
The only logical conclusion is that she was abducted. Unless her parents are incarcerated, they are the first people I would look at, and move outward from there.
There has to be a reason why she didn't at least text her Foster Mom to let her know she did not need to be picked up?
There are so many questions. It's like she just vanished!
Could she be with bio family?
I completely agree - at first I thought maybe it was her intending to harm herself, but the more information I read I think she was abducted.
Maybe she was walking home, there is a small wall that runs behind Walmart. She would have had to walk past Kohls or the gas station to get home.(or climb over the wall - as a new employee she may not feel comfortable doing that). Just because it seems illogical to go that way doesn't mean she didn't.
I wondered if the person who took her sent that text to her birth mom to make it appear she was still on her phone.
how long a walk would it be from walmart to her home, going around the wall? if the statement about not feeling well was genuine, it seems a little odd to me to walk home unless it's a pretty quick walk..I was thinking the exact same thing about the text.
I would have gone around a wall, and not over. She was more of a timid girl from what I have learned from the friends that have known her for years. She was quiet, but very intelligent. She also chose her own religion voluntarily so that, and self-harm can probably be eliminated. There's no history of running away and no previous displays of any behavior showing she wanted to run. The foster family she lived with was close with her prior to becoming her "foster family". She was happy to be there.
Her Sister dropped her off at work.
I wonder if she tried to call anyone to be picked up when she wasn't feeling well?

Why does she have two last natravelingmes? And sounds like she said she was leaving early because she was sick.

And this is odd... but perhaps just trollish. Why would someone make that up?

I find it odd that she would use a sick day so soon after starting a new job. Also, I find it odd that she arrived for her 1 PM shift and left a half hour later. Wouldn't she call out sick before going through the hassle of being dropped off? If she felt sick just when she arrived, why not wait a little while longer to wait it out.... take avil, etc. to see if it passes.
But no, she arrives, essentially leaves immediately by 1:30 PM, buys dark clothing, texts mom at 5:30 (bio mom?), doesn't mention she's sick to anyone else in her foster home since they came to pick her up from her shift at 10 PM.
I understand running away may not be in her character but those actions leading up to her disappearance seem very odd to me.
She texts bio mom, but not foster mom is also weird to me. Could she be hanging with a gamer friend, potentially seeking attention from her bio parents?
