So.... let me see if I've got this right.

In her opening remarks, years after these events, LVD brings herself to dramatic tears, but the morning of, after the very bad no good baseball bat chase, she escapes, returns to a fleet of emergency vehicles and she doesn't ask the police to guard her? Doesn't start to hyper ventilate, doesn't reconsider bringing Tylee right back into the war room, doesn't clue the cop into the events that transpired, oh, about 47 minutes ago? Not a single tear. She doesn't say anything about Charles? Is he here? Is he okay? Did you arrest him? He tried to hurt me. Where is he?????

Nope, she's smiling all friendly at the officer, doing nothing to shield Tyleee from the unknown, acting like a platinum blonde soccer mom just back from from botox and Caribou, worried only about what the neighbors think and how it will impact her.

Charles who?

Glad this witness introduced this:

LVD feigned worry that the commotion would mess up her chances to be invited to the community pool party.

At least her priorities are in order.

How sad for all those community members who’d miss her presence - she who LOVES everybody.

(So wish Keith Morrison in Dateline interview had asked LVD what she means by “love” because hers looks completely different than any I’ve ever experienced or been subject to.)

EXACTLY Megnut.
I believe with all my heart and soul that Lori believes that since she has Jesus on her side all will be ok. Bet she thinks she is doing a great job.

Jury questions:

Jury asks about medicine (I think). Firefighter says it wouldn't help once a heart is stopped.

Jury asks about advanced life support protocol. How they determine what do/nit do. It's a flow chart. If this, then this.

Jury asks is firefighters can call a death? Yes. But they can't give time of death.

I guess she forget to contact him during her last trial, eh?

It wasn't just on WS. It was that feed buffering.
Thank you CHEL. I know Court TV had a buffering problem yesterday as well.

Here is Lori's cousin Megan Conner's take on court this moring.

So....Charles was a semi pro baseball player, or really good, at any rate, but he's chasing LVD around the house with a bat and he never gets off one good swing? No 'swing and a miss'? No dent in the wall, no broken mirror? He must have been REALLY bad with batting in enclosed spaces, like say a house. And LVD fast like the wind, to dodge and roll. And mother of the year, too, getting Tylee outta there.

Only to bring her back to it? Without knowing if the threat had been shot to death stood down? Bad mom.

The jurors are falling like flies.

They should probably thank their lucky stars.

Most of the people who fall around LVD fall dead.

2 jurors down.

3 jurors away from a mistrial.

I think I smell LVD's defense strategy.

Why are jurors dropping out, and how could Lori have planned for this as her defense strategy?

I don't think she had a role in these jurors being dismissed. I do think she is well aware that, the longer the trial goes, the greater the odds of a mistrial by jury count.

She doesn't have a legitimate defense strategy.

Outside of delaying the inevitable. (Namely a conviction)

IIRC, LVD also didn't mention the traumatic event to the staff at JJ's school upon delivering him there, even though JJ was young and had special needs so being informed of such significant events is kind of important so staff can be alert and appropriately responsive to signs of suffering. IIRC, they learned about it later and Lori mischaracterized CV's cause of death as a heart attack (traumatic, but less so than a shooting in the middle of a violent altercation).

LVD said that before they left home JJ was trying to get out of the car and that Tylee was helpful in keeping him there. One might assume he'd heard the shot.
