I wonder if LVD will really re-ask the question about what things Charles & Nancy Jo discussed about her after the judge warned her she would be opening doors. Or will she change her mind over the lunch break? If she asks I hope the state does not object because it is irrelevant but lets Nancy Jo say well he told me that you had a psychotic break and you canceled his flight and took his truck from the airport parking lot and stole his payroll money from his account and locked him out of his own house and disappeared for weeks on end when he took JJ to TX and threatened to kill him and how he tried to get you committed but they didn’t keep you and of course about your affair with CD the Doomsday Prophet.

Oh please ask the question again LVD and please don’t let the state object and please let Nancy Jo spill it all out before LVD tries to shut
State already said they have no objection!

I wonder what Hori is having for lunch…crow sammich?

Trying to think ahead on this. If LVD goes ahead with the question and the State can then bring the Idaho stuff into evidence, I assume the hearsay limits regarding anything Tylee or Alex may have said to anyone still remain. Correct?

Why cant the judge just let her have that rope? Cant he just let her open those doors? Or dies he have a duty to warn her?
I’m sure he did it just because she is defending herself and wanted to make sure she knew that once she opened the door the state could ask more questions and fling that door wide open.

I’m sure her advisory council will advise her not to go there but I’m not sure LVD and her narcissistic personality can resist. She wants to know everything CV said about her to this woman who only had one dinner with him and is willing to put her neck on the chopping block to get that info. Absolutely nothing this witness can say could possibly help LVD and if she had a lawyer they probably wouldn’t have even asked any questions of her at all. LVD who loves everyone despises this woman because she was interested in CV and CV in her. If LVD asks the question again when they come back I think this will be the most interesting part of the whole trial. I do hope Nancy Jo gets the chance to get her back for LVD trying to defame her for going to dinner.

BBM.

For going to dinner with a man who had just recently (in early July 2019) become active on the dating app and who represented himself as going through divorce (ETA: which is consistent with what he told Adam Cox - he and Lori were done; their marriage was over). LVD cannot imply that CV was cheating with this woman and that it was that cheating that motivated LVD's actions.

Nope. But she's providing the jury with her motive.

She didn't want to divorce CV. She didn't want him to move on. She wanted him dead.

Her disdain for and sense of superiority over the witness is sooooooooooo obvious.

I actually think Kay's testimony might be the only thing that really upstages this testimony! Those two women facing off in court is going to be crazy. Kay will slip in anything she can and Lori won't be able to help herself.

But no witness will be able to get in the fact that Lori's children are dead.

Kresha said a few minutes ago on Justin Lum's yt live that Kay was elated when she learned that Lori would represent herself.

Well, this witness DID know he'd changed his life insurance beneficiary before LVD did, which I'm sure enrages LVD.

If only CV had taken NJ's advice to inform LVD of that fact, although I imagine she'd have tried to change it back. But that would likely have generated an investigation by the insurer once CV was murdered and LVD made the call to collect the proceeds.

When is Kay taking the stand? Today? Tomorrow? I need to make sure my calendar is completely clear!

Oh gosh Nancy Jo Hancock is on the stand next. Wish I could fast forward.
How have I only just heard of Nancy Jo? Did we know about this before or is it new information?

I love how the judge was like are you sure about this? You're opening a very big door and the state was like NO OBJECTION! 😂

She cannot help herself.
Stroke of genius by the state, getting a love interest of Charles to testify. This will (hopefully) be Loris undoing.

I think we just learned about it in the prosecutor's opening statement.

She was mentioned in the FOIA docs. IIRC, Tylee's aunt Annie discussed it.

The real question is were Lori's team able to talk her out of this during lunch or not...
I REALLY hope not!

ETA: I'm glued to Nate's tweets now...

Oh boy, I don't see her lasting the trial pro se.

Praying Hubris keeps the date with Nemesis after lunch.

I think cooler heads must have prevailed. She has not asked "the question."

When will the jury learn about Ned Schneider?

  • #580
This delay seems longer than 30!
