All the Coxes except for Alex were in Hawaii. And they wouldn't return to Texas until after Stacey had died. LD would later often run to Hawaii when she thought she would need to hide. She seemed to think Hawaii was a different country and LE couldn't follow her there.

If Alex did do the deed, it may have been intended as a mercy killing, at best.
That's why it was so sweet to see her arrest in Hawaii. I knew at the beginning of the news coverage that she wasn't producing the children because she couldn't.

While LVD & CD & AC were definitely not the brightest bulbs in the box, it still gets me that they thought to have LVD keep AC’s cell phone in Rexburg and send texts and make calls to provide an alibi for him but they used their email addresses and google accounts and such to get burner phones which could then be traced back to them.

So despite LVD’s odd cross examining of LE witnesses, they have now established for the jury that BB was shot at by AC in LVD’s jeep and that she not only provided him the jeep to take to AZ but that she also allowed him to get really dark window tinting a few days earlier. They have also established that she was using AC’s phone in Rexburg while he was in AZ. I think tomorrow we will see the storage videos showing LVD involved in removing the jeep’s seat and spare and putting them in and taking them out of storage. There may be some additional phone, text, or email info presented as well, but I think once the jury sees the storage videos they will have enough to convict LVD of the conspiracy even without any of the prior convictions coming in. Would you agree?

She is still obsessing over what color green he called it, when it is in fact a green car. Can anybody tell me why she does this?

Perhaps she wants to allude to being an expert color specialist. It’s not unusual for guys to just say Green, as opposed to Celadon, Fern, Camo, Jade, etc. She feels like she scores points for appearing to know more than the witness.

That’s pretty similar to what I saw on another site so I’m guessing they got it from her but do you know if her info was accurate? First I’ve heard of that statement by MBP
It's dated and timestamped.
Looks legit which doesn't mean it's legit though.

She's waiting for it to be said that the green is the same shade of her oxidized hair streaks?

BB did say that the insurance info he had on the Jeep has its color as grey.

Bringing up some older info in regard to other people's knowledge:

There were 90 calls and text messages between Alex, Chad, Zulema and Lori between 9:21 a.m. on Oct. 9 and 2:28 a.m. on Oct. 10.

Was Zulema in on Tammy's murder attempt from the get go? Technically her help wasn't needed. Her message to Chad revealed that she was happy for him and Lori when Tammy died.

I also can't forget Zulema's exchange with Alex about Tylee being a zombie on September 2nd. I suspect she knew that castings weren't enough to get rid of them. Alex had previously told her that he killed a zombie after Charles' murder.

SBM. It was interesting to learn that Alex's burner phone only ever communicated with Chad's phone. I wonder if it was Chad's burner number. Wouldn't that implicate Chad in the conspiracy?

ETA: Chad was using a burner only a week later when Tammy was shot at.

On Oct. 9, 2019, at 9:15 p.m., a 401 number from a phone is used by Chad Daybell. That phone, to this day, has not been found, Edwards says. Chad's real phone had a 208 number. Alex had a burner phone with a 334 area code. His real phone had a 480 area code.

Wood talks about Chad getting his burner phone on Oct. 9 - the day Tammy was shot at.

Maybe Chad was using a different burner phone or his regular phone to talk to Alex on/around Oct 2 (date of BB attack). IIRC, it was reported that Chad bought a burner soon after first meeting Lori a year earlier.

ETA: Justin Lum's tweet from the court proceedings:

Chad got a burner phone on 9/18/19.

So he could have been using that phone both in JJ's murder and BB's attempt, but got a new one for Tammy's.

Apparently Alex and Lori bought their burners on Sept 25, the day the Jeep's windows were being tinted:

Treena Kay says Daybell and Cox also got burner phones at Walmart that same day.

That is another sign that Alex didn't act alone.

Another tweet only mentions purchasing one phone for Alex, but both Lori and Alex were present:

Lori went to Walmart in Idaho Falls around this time and bought a burner phone. They had other cell phones and Alex's phone was using Wifi inside the Walmart when the burner phone was purchased. Lori's phone was utilizing cell towers near the Walmart at the same time. "Lori Vallow and Alex Cox knew he would need a phone when he drove down here." They bought the burner phone so Alex could be in touch with Lori. "But Alex made a mistake. With burner phones, you can use it to access Google. Alex accessed his Gmail account."

So Lori bought Alex's burner phone? That's her involvement confirmed. Alex can't use cheating on his spouse as an excuse for owning a burner.

SBM. I found it intriguing that they put the Jeep seat and tire into storage AFTER the failed attempt on Brandon (in the afternoon) and took them out the next day. She rented the storage unit a day before the attack. Did they anticipate hiding the Jeep parts? Did they store the children's stuff in there early on? I remember a much later footage of Chad and Alex taking children's bikes into the storage.
I keep hearing people say LVD & CD put the seat in the day before the shooting but my notes said the afternoon of the shooting just like you said. Here’s my thoughts on that…

I don’t think LVD actually got the storage unit to store the jeep tire and seat even though she got it the day before the shooting. I think it was always to put the kids things in but I don’t know when they first started putting things in there.

I think the plan was that AC would leave the seat and tire in the garage and put them back on the jeep as soon as he returned. BUT I think when AC missed that LVD thought BB might have recognized the Jeep and that LE might catch him on the drive back and if so she didn’t want the seat & tire sitting in her garage so they moved it to the storage that they thought no one would know she had anyway and then if AC got caught she could say she had no idea that he took the seat out and the tire off. That’s why they didn’t move it in until a few hours after AC shot at BB - it was not part of the plan but was a reaction to AC missing and an attempt to distance LVD from AC’s actions.

I think you've made an excellent point.

Especially since I also think Chad doesn't typically do any heavy lifting, so it would take something extraordinary for him to do so. Had the plan been to put the seat and tire in the storage unit to begin with, Chad and Lori would have had Alex put it there (just as Alex was the one who took the seat and tire out of the storage unit later).

Sounds like even such a fact-and-reason-resistant person as LVD may be seeing the writing on the wall as to the solidity of evidence against her.

And no Jesus-made-in-her-own-image arriving to save her from her fate.

"using any means necessary to include force to secure the attendance of the Defendant for her trial"

Sounds like maybe the defendant may have been balking about appearing yesterday?
I noticed her hair lacked its usual custody ragcurls.

Didn't somebody report that she was carrying a mask yesterday?

I'm not taking about the machaivellian one that is slipping but the pandemic kind. She must have been feigning another illness.

Does the judge have his thumb on the rack belt zapper?

If she lunges like I sometimes think she's about to, how many zappers can zap the peplum off her backside?

She needs to come down a peg.

I think you've got a really good point here, with storing the tire being a reaction to AC missing the shot, rather than something that was planned ahead of time. They weren't expecting BB to be alive to describe the vehicle to the police and/or point LE in their direction -- but since he was, they were probably expecting the police to stop by. If they had the seat and tire sitting in their garage, that would immediately tie them to the crime. They needed a place to hide it until they could put it back on the Jeep.
