This seems so trivial after the last couple posts, but did anyone else catch the following from Kay’s testimony?

When Lori showed up at the house when Kay was helping CV load up the house contents to move to Houston, Lori verbally attacked CV for a bit in front of Kay and then CV and Lori went into the bedroom for further discussion. Lori subsequently came out and Kay expressed her regret that “all of this” was happening and Lori said, “I love you KayKay.”

Reminded me of Alex Murdaugh and his “PawPaw” and “RoRo” testimony.

What is it with murderous sociopaths and their infantilizing of the names of those around them?

LVD already succeeded getting CV's forgiveness when in the bedroom so KW was just a footnote..

IIRC: After being missing in action for 50 something days didn't Lori then proceed to move to Texas with CV?

This trial is such a travesty of justice. Like something out of a really bad movie, she’s an unbelievably bad actress.

It’s clear why she wanted to represent herself. Her last hurrah, before she slips into the black abyss of prison. A platform to spew her garbage in a forced atmosphere - where people have to answer her bizarre questions and listen to twist their answers.

The highlight for me this week was Kay’s testimony. She really showed us who Charles was as a person. I loved her “oh boy” as Lori approached - priceless. It was a very cowardly move, to shut Kay down. In the end it only highlighted how she manipulates situations and people to benefit herself.

Outside of Tammy Moorer, she probably the worst woman I’ve been exposed to here at Websleuths.

AC's ex-wife said that he slept with a 15 yr old girl and it sounded like the family knew about this yet LVD sent her daughter to live with him.
Talk about LE's complete incompetence.
Had the children not been killed LVD, CD & AC most likely would have gotten away with the murders of TD & CV.

LVD's voice sounds almost child like. I am really struck by how she seems to have aged in prison however; her skin looks so different. In the Hawaii marriage videos/pictures with Chad, she looks youthful and "untroubled" despite having offed the children. Was it ever stated what she was treated for when she could not stand trial and then she became well enough?

I think KW said Lori and JJ came to Texas for a while. Even said Lori slept in JJs room.
But KW said it was all for a money grab because she didn't stay long.

I’m guessing she was using Botox prior to prison. That’s why she looked youthful and untroubled.

I’ve heard some speculate that there may be charges yet coming against MBP for the attempt on BB or against any of them for their involvement in either of these AZ cases. I don’t know if that will ever happen and I’m not sure what I think about their involvement but I think that the state bought in enough they didn’t need MBP or ZP. But I think they made a mistake by not calling MG who could have testified that she was at LVD’s on the 10th and thought she was spending the night and then out of the blue LVD told her she had to leave because AC was coming to spend the night instead. To me that clearly points to LVD & AC conspiring together. So I am very puzzled that they left her off the witness list.

I have always believed MBP should be in prison for conspiracy to kill Brandon. I am so glad Alex missed but I do believe MBP wanted Brandon dead and was part of the conspiracy just as CD and LVD were. All about money.. CD even labeled some of MBP’s children as dark. These people just make me physically ill.

I'm pretty sure that she still sees exactly what she wants to see in the mirror. Narcissism is good like that. As she has the whole time, I'm sure she's full of certainty. And as much as I'd like to see that crack, I honestly don't think she's capable of that kind of self awareness, the kind that most of us have telling us that we're not immortal gods who will never suffer consequences. Lori's still trying to force her magical thinking on the world to make it suit her wishes. I'm sure that's why she's gone pro se. I think she thinks the flaw in the Idaho trial was that she relied on lawyers rather than her own willpower.

It takes a lot of money to look good. I have no doubt LVD had plenty of facials, Botox, and spent plenty of money to have her hair and makeup done professionally, with "smoothing" done on the photos too.

Jail doesn't have the same products available. So sad. Not!

I don't agree that LE was totally incompetent. It's easy for us with hindsight and knowledge of events to happen in the future. But LE interviewed 3 people who all had the same story, including a teenage girl. Most likely, Tylee's interview with police sealed the deal and resulted in Alex going free.

And, sadly, we all know how that ended.

Unfortunately Tylee likely wasn't aware that Lori was taunting Charles by withholding his phone, and she presumed that Charles was the 'problem'. ...no doubt 'encouraged' by Lori. I wonder if Lori 'primed' Tylee by saying things like she was worried about Charles coming over, and, "I'm afraid he might get violent".
